  1. ok..... Ford Spectron van....... Holden Jackaroo...... HJ One Tonne Ute, complete with 253 V8 Stage 3 cam, 3 inch exhaust lowered, good wheels tryre, 3 Speed (yes.. laugh i did too) 4.11 diff, it was a good car....Edit: read Country boy.... HZ One tonne ute (after the HJ died) Stock 202 6 no mod's...Sold to brother... Toyota Corona....(girly's first old car) Vp Holden Commodore....V6 Exhaust, chip, lowered, tint's, VR kit including race wing, Momo Streering wheel, Mag's.....Sounds nice....goes well, Roomy (Skyline owner's will know what i mean)..:uh-huh: I THOUGHT it handled well and stopped fairly well.... R33 Skyline...(stock) Very different car to drive. No torque like the Commie, but once the boost kicks in........:burnout: Handles a shit load better Stop's amazingly quick, What can i say, it's a far superior car and it's a 95 model.... Cheers LoZ
  2. Motox is the name of an Company/Importer for the Skyline. I hear it's REALLY expensive to convert them to American Standards..... i could be wrong tho....
  3. YEAH BABY..... Come to Gosford one time.... We'll cruise th ol Pac highway... when your ready.,.... Loz
  4. What make are the three spoke rim's..... Any one know of anyone who sells them..... I've been looking for month's Loz
  5. No... That's about right for a NEW one. They are not cheap. (Turbosmart are more competively priced) The Japanese one's are exposed to many form of tax no doubt. Damn Taxes...!!
  6. They had 5 N/a Supra's made up and 1 2JZ. 2 were used for film shooting... as in they would use 2 Supra's for the driving sequences, and the others were for thrashing and trashing. In movie's car's last forever, going over jumps at 60MPh etc etc. In real life...I dont think so.....
  7. Well I'm just happy that the GTR will get more of a feature in this movie, than last time. Rob Cohen who directed "The Fast and Furious" is not the director in this one. Rob really liked the Supra...(he got the idea after seeing a really nice riced up version on the street) Hence the Supra being Paul Walker's car. Although if you read his production note's he consider's the cars' characters.... (that's Hollywood for ya) John Singleton is the director of 2 fast 2 furious. Will be interesting to read his notes about the film
  8. The Mechanic's adjusted it to suit with the standard BOV unit connected as well. After disconnected the stock one and now just running the Blitz one... It's a lot louder.... but "seems" ok. After a good run, it does drop the rev's very low...for a split second, then it must seal and all is ok. It's hard to tell if the unit is not leaking... Logic tells me if it was leaking, I'd lose boost pressure on the guage... but it still show's the same ..7PSI... (yes stock i know..) So i guess I'm not. As posted earlier doing a rough run in in the garage showed the brass thingy to push down further during boost pressure....(vacume change i guess) Eventually when i get an exhaust and stuff fitted ill get a dyno tune, and they can check all that for me... Cheers Loz
  9. Just Jap say they are getting some in soon I finally got a digital camera ...so here is a pic....
  10. Well, thought i might of had some boost loss (i got worried when people spoke of "boost leak") But after some under bonnet testing (rev hard and watch valve) i noticed the "button" (copper release thingy) moved down furhter on rev..to seal the BOV . So i took it out for a hammer (foot to the floor) and it all seems fine.!! Next is the Boost Guage. and maybe the "Skyline" logo lit up in Blue.... Loz
  11. Hmmm mine doesn't grind... more like a "twittering sound" ... Maybe my "Release Bearing" problem is slightly different. Oh and by the way guy's ..can some one tell me What "Heel n toe" clutch is and HTF it works.... Cheers
  12. Yep...I have the same problem on mine.... My mechanic said not to worry (duhh we all know that lozz...) So ill wait till it Fcuks out and geta a twin plate fitted. YAY loz
  13. Blitz Bov.... Tried for three months to get an adaptor plate to fit where the stock one was.... NO GOOD. No one had or could get one. So i had to get my mechanic to Fabricate it on to the pipe leading to the Throttle body. (under the pod). It cost a bit to do it, but it sound's great and looks nice. I'd show a photo, but i dont have a digital camera. Cheers Loz
  14. GTR...
  15. "you go 6 inches from the throttle body and there's something there....." That is correct.... that's where the factory Blow-back one is. You can install it there provided you have an appropriate adaptor plate to fit. You would have to block the return hose as well... or one will lose all boost. I've got a Blitz BOV and had to get it welded to the pipe down the front near the Pod Filter. I'd show a pic, but i dont have a Digital Camera. It make's a good sound...... Good luck in fitting...let us know the results Loz
  16. Mate if worst come's to worst, put "Normal" unleaded in but chuck a bottle of "Octane Boost" in before... That way you might get up to 95 ron in the fuel.... better than 91.... Most caltex's and Mobil's have ..Vortex??!?/Premium... (whatever their PULP is)..it's 95 Ron..... I guess that would do the job.... I ran mine on that for month's till i realised that Shell and BP had the 98 stuff. It's not all Kero in the country.... Cheers Loz
  17. Currently got in the 6 stacker..... Wild Gold (3cd's) Nick Skitz 12 (Skitz Mix) Cd 1 Cream (trance) And a mix cd of all sorts..... (my own creation) as for Eminem..... (I just wann know why EVERYONE want's to eat the crispy M and M's.. I mean (LLICCCKK)....(LLIICCKK) .....LLIC STOP) Thorry....) HE HE HE I have no life....
  18. I too will agree with Endorean. It's been many Moon's since i last went to troppo, and to tell you the honest truth. My 6 stacker in my Skyline play's far better music than Troppo ..(believe it!!!!..) The last time i went out (out) was when Nick Skitz played at Iguana Joe's..(just up the road). Nic Fish also played at Terrigal and that was good. Apart from that, there is Troppo. Sure you can fit over 2000 people in there, and there is plenty of women around, but that's about it. Best move is to park the Skyline or modded car around the corner and go in to troppo in grup[s of no more than 3 at a time. Better than gettin knocked back at the door..... Cheers Loz
  19. Sweet!!!.... This is going to be an interesting weekend
  20. That is exactly what i had in mind....... How did you go about doing it..... was it difficult....??
  21. correct.... I see.... Blue it is then.....
  22. I wish I'd brought my lasso... and cowboy hat...... YEEE HAAAA!!!!!!!!! Ride Dem Pot Hole's......
  23. I like these suggestions...... The number plate one sound's cool I wonder if the "UV" one's would light it up brighter than a Blue one....
  24. Guy's good to meet you all, I look forward to the next time..... Sorry 'bout missing lunch Tosh.... I had a $400 Mechanic bill (power steering went on the "other" car ... but next time.... We'll be right there Rappin with you lot.... Once again Thanks for organizing it Tosh.....Next on my "Buy" list is a CB Radio... Cheers Loz
  25. Well you all better NEVER let your car's out of site..... Or just keep em in the garage.... (he hehe he) I'd be more worried about someone opening their door too fast... or letting the door rub the side of your car as they move stuff in there car... that worries me more than someone looking or taking a photo of my 'line... with or without anyone in front or on the bonnet.... ( Me think's I'm going to make Lot's of friends now....!!)
