  1. Spotted a white C34 with polished 17's (?) looking nice and flush in Firle yesterday as I was going for a walk. Apologies for watching as you navigated the spoon drains!
  2. Yeah off of the footbrake is more what I was thinking about. Basically the wire needs to be "uncut" and the brake pedal pressed to reset the CEL/limp mode?
  3. Leon do you have a switch that you use to turn it off and on or do you have some sort of tricky switch that you use to stop the CEL from lighting up?
  4. Really I'm just looking for the best trade off between performance and economy. Performance comes first, but I don't want to be running crazy rich for no reason if it's easily avoidable.
  5. Anyone feel free to complete this sentence: The best solution for someone that is happy doing under 171kmh, with a front mount, dump and exhaust is.....
  6. Paint it black.
  7. Yeah I'm not heading to the track - 171kmh is fast enough for me.
  8. Because of the wire snip mod? How about to sort out the A/F?
  9. So I'm guessing no one went down the G-Zone or Toshi track in the end?
  10. Ok so more specifically, North East.
  11. Keen but have had a work trip sprung on me that I don't have exact dates for yet FFS. As far as route requests go, any chance of somewhere closer to the city/North? A long cruise that starts South and ends South means a tank and a half of petty.
  12. lol Surely that would be on some separate control. I wouldn't know what to look at if that was on in front of me.
  13. Thanks Aaron. Getting it painted up today now so I'll keep it. Yeah not cheap, but worth it IMO. Not looking at 35 seats any more Mike, although I may not end up going with the seats I was looking at (they are in Melbourne and I need to get them back here somehow, and I really don't want to drive that far in my M35 especially after having it detailed this week..
  14. Forgot to mention, I saw an M35 at Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens with WOODGRAIN vinyl down the side of the car. Could not believe my eyes.
  15. Yeah I mean more the black with red. Are they an OEM rim that has been painted? Can't quite pick them...
  16. Yep, wheels suit the car perfectly too!
  17. Ugh, do not like hearing this stuff a day before my car goes in to have body work done. Kind of wondering if I should take my new wheels off before taking it there now. Just my luck they'll gutter 'em.
  18. Just changed the oil and filter. Ended up with a genuine Nissan filter (probably a waste of money) and Motul 8100 Excess 5w40. Going to find something better for next oil change but it needed to be done. Pulled the turbo banjo bolt too and checked to make sure that it wasn't clogged, it was very clean so I'm guessing either the previous owner checked it or I am lucky enough to have a very well looked after car. Either way I'm happy.
  19. Different to G35 and 350z?
  20. Works for the 350z guys with a few issues (this is the most informative post)... http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/off-topic/60500-torque-android-app-2.html EDIT: Found this too.. http://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v36-2007-08/390921-torque-obd-app-plk-kiwi-mini-review.html
  21. It's not an iphone app, and I think you meant "necessarily".
  22. Yeah I'm trying to avoid a physical gauge. Current plan is a tablet like a Samsung Galaxy Tab or Viewsonic ViewPad and some peripherals to replace my Pioneer deck/GPS, and you can run an OBDII client such as Torque on there.. https://market.android.com/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en
  23. If I don't use an Informeter, is there a way to get accurate boost measuring to the OBDII port?
  24. Those of you running some sort of digital gauges, what do you use to do so? Does the M35 use OBDII? Can you get an accurate boost figure from this?
