  1. Oh yeah, think you might.. That said the airbox seems very thick there, shouldn't be too hard to shave 3-4mm off of it.
  2. Did you get the airbox to fit correctly Iain? Or just deal with it and move on? haha
  3. Useless photos. We just moved house and I can't find our camera. That and the grille is on it now and I couldn't be bothered taking it off. I'll take a better photo of the trans cooler when I change my grille. Things to note: The G35 Koyo Alloy radiator is about 20mm longer than the standard M35 unit, and the top and bottom tanks are approx 10mm wider. The airbox sits hard up against the fan shroud bolt, and the over the radiator cold air intake is not in a slightly different position. I'll likely shave some plastic from the airbox before long to try and get everything to fit nicely, but just an FYI - this isn't a perfect bolt in solution. Given the additional length, the ends of the fan shroud need to be removed. That said, the radiator itself does bolt on to everything perfectly. No custom mounts, AC condenser fits perfect and the standard rubber mounts go on it easy. Can't figure out of it's waaay low on ATF fluid or ridiculously high on it. What came out of the hose last night seemed a lot darker than what I'm seeing on the dipstick. Since I filled the car via the dipstick "pipe" I'm guessing I just need to let it settle for a while before checking the levels. I imagine I'll have to add a fair bit of fluid given that it's probably dumped ~400ml in the swap, and I've added some extra hose and a whole trans cooler to the system.
  4. Koyo in, B&M Supercooler in, front BC BR's in. Just need to bleed the cooling system now, get the rear coilovers in and give her a massive clean up.
  5. Awesome. Thanks again mate.
  6. Do you guys top up the transmission fluid through the dipstick pipe thing? lol Or is there a easier/quicker way?
  7. Awesome, thanks mate.
  8. My radiator doesn't have the transmission section, so it's going into a B&M transmission cooler. Has the thermostat in it, still can't tell if it matters which side it goes into.
  9. Awesome, thanks mate. Radiator is IN. Fricking marathon effort I tell ya. I have read it somewhere before, but on the standard radiator, which of the holes for the Transmission "cooler" is in and which is out? Tried following them back to the transmission but can't see shit. Guess I could start the car up but it's kind of in bits at the moment..
  10. Don't know if this link will work, but: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ru&tl=en&twu=1&u=http://www.megazip.ru/ru/auto/nissan/view/41/51/1901/58621&usg=ALkJrhjSNEMtWOPWbuFbppaBt1897nQJdw Can I remove "21082C" from part "21082".. The nuts that hold on the mount for the radiator fan? Can I remove the entire fan without screwing up any engine timing and stuff?
  11. how the f**k did you get the fan back on after putting the radiator in? this is a seriously tight fit, i have to say!
  12. So is it 2x3mm washers that are required on each coilover? Does it matter what they are made of?
  13. Is there a coolant drain plug in the block? My system has some tap water in it at the moment - I've drained the radiator and anything from the bottom hose but I'm sure more could come out. Worth worrying about?
  14. Yep got the two bolts in the top. The condenser just wanted to stay put with the radiator. Got a little stubby screwdriver and gave it a smack a few times to push the condensor out of the mounts at the base of the radiator. Radiator is out with the fan on but the new unit looks 3x as thick. Not sure how I'll go getting the fan back on after installing the new radiator if I do go down that path..
  15. yeah it does have an FMIC, must have been a recent addition then. the only struggle now is getting the AC condenser to pull out of the little mounts at the base of the radiator.
  16. For those who have removed a radiator from a M35.. the AC condenser, does it come out with the radiator? Also, the fan on the front of the condenser, does this need to be removed? It looks as though it has plastic mounts that go through the AC condenser AND the radiator. Do I just pull these out?
  17. Awesome thanks mate.
  18. Any idea how much coolant I'll need for a full flush in an M35?
  19. If mine is running I might be able to pop my head in.
  20. Something I might do later on down the track. I haven't even done the wire cut mod yet. Right now just want to get this radiator and transmission cooler sorted. I need a reliable car before anything else!
  21. Yep wicked. Nice one mate. Black on silver looks great.
  22. As above. Will look great with some lowering. What size/offset are those wheels?
  23. Evidently I have come into this with my eyes shut. What is this valve body upgrade? Not the shift kit thing that everyone is talking about? I don't think I have the mechanical confidence to tackle a job like that.
  24. Not worth flushing it?
  25. Any hints/tips/warnings on installing the trans cooler on my M35? Radiator is going so it's a standalone unit. What sort of oil am I using again? And how much should I buy to fill up the system?
