  1. damn that would be insane i'd imagine youd either be best off finding someone that wants a stagea front cut, and doing a deal..
  2. Well I've been pestering this old guy to buy his Datto 1600 for about 5 years now, and it looks like his finally ready to sell up... I'm only 21 - $27k is a decent house deposit. Thats just my way of thinking at the moment anyway. Things could change though!
  3. Quite the contrary. You've talked me out of it
  4. Yep, just fill out the form and email it to ors.eaglepark@saugov.sa.gov.au
  5. Cheers fellas.
  6. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=7433 Just curious - it's high km's (not insane, but high enough) and cheap. Anyone think it would be worthwhile?
  7. Eagle Mountain Bike Park had been planned and is 95% finished. It is a purpose "built" park for mountain biking in SA. As they have "cracked down" on mountain biking as of late (and closed a lot of national parks to mountain bikers), a dedicated park is long overdue. For more info on the park, click here. The draft management plan is out; basically this is the oportunity for it to either go ahead, or go under. As with the car scene, there are a lot of people that want to "take us down". They just don't understand that a 1m wide trail is a 1m wide piece of cleared land, whether it be used by walkers, mountain bikers, horses, etc, and if the old Eagle Quarry wasn't converted to this MTB park, it would still just be a quarry - NOT revegetated land with some dirt trails through it. As a result, we need all of the support that we can get. Long story short, if you are a mountain biker, you know of mountain bikers, you ever think you will be a mountain biker, or you just want to "help the cause" (hey, I always vote yes for "roadie" cycling events, skate parks, etc ), please give us a hand... Thanks for your time. Click here for the Eagle feedback template form.
  8. i'm pretty sure that this has a 1jz

  11. what is the TS dancer atessa controller alex?
  12. yah, do that. i wouldnt do anything to the doors, but just fronts is a bit lacking.. has to be fronts and rears
  13. RS Four V - 1650kg's 25X - 1500kg's Keep in mind though, the 25X is non turbo, so it's not just AWD vs RWD in the weight factor, it's missing a fmic, turbo, etc.
  14. Is the little cover in all Stageas though? Even if they don't have tweeters?
  15. I'd consider it if it was manual.. Whats in a wing? Could probably sell it for $150

  17. Sorry to dig up a REALLY OLD thread, but I figure it is best to keep all of the info in the one place. Has anyone learned much about this in the past year? How does the 260RS drivetrain compare to the S2 Manual? Thanks
  18. This is what I'm considering at the moment.. I love a good thrash (hills runs, and I want to do some track work in the future). I'm not too concerned about being competitive out on the track, but I'd like to challenge myself. I need something that can move mountain bikes, so Stagea is a top option... I just dunno though! Much merit for coilovers over the modified standard setup?
  19. If you're going with reclinables, I'd stick with the Recaro's. They're proven to be a great seat (Evo's, not to mention all of the special edition models over the years - Stageas, Legnums, etc). Not all that cheap though. I personally would opt for Velo GP90's as I rarely do long distance driving in my cars, and I want to do some track work in my Stagea too. (When everything comes together; i.e. my bank account looks a little better)
  20. Are ADR's something that are important to you? For the sake of a seat I'd prefer something that wouldn't get me defected...
  21. Not sure if these will fit, but might be worth looking into for bigger brakes that aren't too much of a major swap (bigger calipers).
  22. Thats definitely the reality Luke, but like anything, if you bide your time and find a nice example there shouldn't really be too many problems. Not to mention the mods will be more basic than on an RS4 (because the RB26DETT is better in stock form). I'm considering a S2 with an average engine to be rebuilt as an RB30DET (Neo), but I don't know; maybe we all want too much from a wagon?
  23. That is damn cheap. With I could find a 5spd for that much.
  24. Sorry, I should have been more specific. Was it in a car yard in Japan (that J-Spec contacted), or did J-Spec bid on it for you at auction in Japan? Cheers
