Tangles did you manage to get any power out of yours I ended up pulling mine off and going to the .82 external gate because it didnt want to make power for me Mine also had hairline cracks around the wastegate hole but GCG told me that's normal its just sitting here in the carport so if you wanna buy one down the track let me know

  3. I haven't had a retune and dyno since I changed to a bigger housing but on the smaller housing it was on 248kws at the rears hoping for more with new housing

  7. Old mate its not a full turbo its just the housing I believe its the .73 AVO recast nissan housing I swapped it for the .82 external Grant so its still the 3076r but now external gate
  8. full boost at 4k sounds abit laggy is it an internal gate when i had the internal .73ar it was laggy but still full boost before then with my external mine hits 18psi around 3200 - 3500 (.82ar) and thats with a .5 bar spring with the gain turned up on the EBC to crack at 14psi so its way more responsive then the internal gate I think it will get better still when I put in the 1 bar spring
  9. Mines not going to badly Gary just waiting on a 1 bar spring and an oil change then its off to get the tune tidied up for this new setup
  10. doesn't VCT work by grounding and doesnt it turn off in the higher revs my knowledge is limited here

  14. Ive just changed the .73 internal gate to a .82 external gated setup see if that makes a difference to it now

  16. ahhh the good old 18psi gauge How did you get your car to trip that light before the actual Boost cut came in From memory mine used to hit hard around 14 psi also Trent have you played around with the TP limits in nistune regarding the Boost cut I wanna set mine to cut at 19psi as a safety if it goes over 18psi or is it going to be a trial and error sort of thing where I keep adjusting the cut until its right
  17. Yeah you will need the longer studs and a spacer to get clearance from the exhaust manifold
  18. dont external gates spool quicker then an internal Im currently doing the external gate mod to mine now Kyle from 6boost is modifying the housing so I can run an external gate my old setup was the .73 internal gate and it was sloppy with the boost where as im hoping the new .82 external gate will be a bit friendlier with both power and response
