  1. yeah not that rare I have one on my car and one here on my desk stopping papers from blowing off my desk (hence blow off valve)
  2. just on the hot side exit of the turbo at the 90deg bend it was a bloody band clamp ,it had locked up on me and i thought it was really tight so i left it be turns out it wasnt and was leaking pretty bad which may explain why when we went from 14psi to 18 psi it would only go up by 2-4kws poor bloody turbo was working its ass of to make 18 it does drive different now with the boost fixed way more responsive lol
  3. Gary Its very wierd that both our cars are behaving like this I havent been back on the dyno since I have fixed a boost leak and I was also wondering if maybe the timing is out from when I did my 100thou service consult shows my base timing at 5deg at idle but i haven't been able to check the physical timing yet
  4. can you manually engage the lock out solenoid Ive seen on my ecu pinout there is a pin for it ,is there anything you could wire into that to manipulate it ??
  5. isnt the rule not to go below 3 o'clock (90deg) something to do with moisture etc IIRC
  6. my nismo pump came as a whole unit (with cradle etc) I have a GTR pump sitting in my shed and it looks exactly like that one in the pic
  7. Mines the GT3076r with the AVO .73 housing ive managed to pull 244kws out of it so far but that was with a stupid amount of boost leak (hose clamp) but mines much the same as yours lithium pulls moderately to 3600-4000 then it goes pretty bloody hard from there to redline
  8. remap will be fine id say and stock AFM should hold 300Hp According to NIStune anyway
  9. yeah still in the process im pulling the emanage out and have got Nistune installed now things move pretty slow up here didnt you see that lol are you saying the ambient temps made a huge difference Trent or not alot ??? Ive always thought that they would make an extreme difference to tuning
  10. Damn trent you should have called into tville and tuned mine
  11. 85 - 95 for me up here in sunny north qld where its hot all the time
  12. dont bother with split dumps just get a bellmouth
  13. 480cc'S can go more then 242 kws cant they from memory i pulled 215 from stocko ones would 100cc really be only 30kws more (oh mines currently at 244Kws (have run 248Kws) with nismos and I could have sworn they were not maxing out yet )
  14. heres a pic so you can see the difference (well kinda) GTR is on the left
  15. that is exactly what mine was doing it would only spark on the very first turn then nothing
  16. the fuse that was blown was in my engine bay
  17. check your fuses Mine was a stupid blown fuse (yes I did check them first) same thing i could take the cas out turn it and there was ticking only problem was i couldnt get a spark (occasional weak spark) but when we looked at fuses again there was a blown one changed that and away she went
  18. you are probably trying too hard not to get any damage on your car its not the best approach i have found I now just park where ever (beside trolley bays , next to entrances etc) sure ill come out one day and there will be damage on it but it is a fun game of russian roulette
  19. there is a NIStune thread on here and im sure that you will have many option for tuning down that way www.nistune.com have a look on there under workshops
  20. mate if a 240 dollar nistune board is out of your budget then sell your skyline and start riding a pushbike ill be selling my emanage ultimate dirt cheap soon as i have gone to Nistune but that is your choice i guess
  21. as far as im aware yes i know that when you buy from deatschwerks you are buying v35 injectors for r34
  22. Small issue here when my car is on the dyno the dyno wideband read 12-12.5afrs but on my LC1 gauge it goes down as low as 10s at the same point I have read many threads on the Innovate forums and they say this is normal as the dyno has the sniffer in the tailpipe and that can make it read leaner (my wideband is about 12" from turbo in the dump pipe) this has me worried that if I was to tune the car to the afrs on the LC1 that would make it way too lean on a chassis dyno basically what is accurate and what isn't
  23. http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?t=811 have a look in that thread
