hey all! i underwent an oil change this morning! Prior to oil selection read up on the heap of info on the site regarding oil choice and viscosity! i went for the castrol formula R synthetic. Any way i got some one to pick it up for me and well they came back with the 10w 60 instead of the 5w 30... Simply though impatience i put it in any ways! This will not cause any problems will it? Also for clarification... in the spec 10w 60 the first number is the cold thickness and the second is the hot thickness! Yes? thanks all! pete

hey actually experiencing same problem with the winter water! i took the plastic guard off so the stock cooler would flow better and well water was splashing up through these holes in my guard and getting into my pod i was wondering why the car felt wierd! replaced it today! i take it that getting water in the inlet is very bad! Not too bad i hope???

has any one had a standard gtr core on a flow bench? what does it flow at? we need comparrisons between coolers?

not sure if everyone knows but mercury motorsport are selling 600 300 76 bar and plate coolers for 550 delivered! looks like a good deal to me! the only thing that looks a little suspect are the end tanks! doesnt look as though they would utilise the whole core! does any one know about this core? its just i am thinking of getting one!

hey guys! i was off trying to find an adapter plate today for my filter and saw a white r33 with a full veilside kit and carbon bonnet! looked allright! i never thought that the kit suited the car at all but found my self... errr ...jealous! it looked really good we should all catch up or something.... i really want to find out about the best workshops here... thats if there are any!

It will make a good noise but because the extra air is not being put back into the intake the car will run rich during gear changes and when backing off from accelerating! .... but does sound ok

well as far as the atmospheric and inlet venting models go which one is better! i allways thought the plumb back was the better!.. Roy why is the atmospheric your preference?

15 year old cars do not need complience plates! i think the GOLDEN year is 89 because of this most 89 cars in japan are more expensive that the year after model and in some cases the year after that! if any one is interested in tas about getting a cheap import.. dont hesitate to pm me! cheers pete
