  1. I'm after an R33 badge, the S for the grill if anyone has one? Cheers
  2. I concur... It was a left hand corner, your catch can is on the right hand side (from the drivers seat), with the breather ingeniously placed on the right hand SIDE of the catch can, makes sense that if it had a bit of oil in it, it could slosh out the breather and straight down in front of the front right hand (and outside, taking the most weight) wheel .
  3. So you want the loom that connects to these things? I have a butchered loom (that i used to repair mine) with those plugs, PM me what its worth to you inc postage. Cheers, -Dan
  4. Hey Mate, you should just give Nistune a crack, its cheaper and has a lot more tunaeable options (a lot more common in australia on R34's). The software is also quite intuitive and has full manual/instructions so your tuner shouldnt have an issue. http://www.nistune.com/ Cheers, -Dan

    Throttlebody

I've got a billet 80mm one which i'm after $150 for, identical to this one; http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f249/smity42/Alfa%20GTV/fab/throttle_body.jpg
  6. Are you sure the vacuum line from the bov is going to the intake manifold BEHIND the throttle? This vacuum is used to equalise the pressure in the BOV so it doesn't creep open under boost (as regardless how much boost you are running at WOT there will be the same pressure in-front and behind the BOV). It then pulls open quickly when the throttle closes (as not only does it have boost pushing it open, it has vacuum on the other side from the intake manifold pulling it open at the same time). If it isn't connected (or in the right place) without equalising the pressure I can see that the boost could push past it.
  7. You cant have throttle responce when you have no power to respond with... An N/A+T has excellent throttle response and good power for any application,
  8. +1
  9. lol, 245,000kms is a spring chicken, you should definitily up the boost! Turbotech goooooooooooo.
  10. Decat for maximum carrots
  11. RB20 and RB25 manifolds are indeed identical...
  12. RB25 Ecu could have also poured out smoke because they're for high impedance injectors, and RB26's are low impedance.
  13. You could always impiort this one from Tasmania (price is negotiable). http://hobart.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-cars-Nissan-Skyline-R34-Gt-t-Factory-4-Door-Manual-Turbo-W0QQAdIdZ328286762

  20. Hey all, I've had this car for about a year and purchased it completely standard from a guy up north. It has been meticulously maintained, serviced every 5000km with Royal Purple 10w/40 and daily driven. For the last 6 months or so it has been primarily driven by my girlfriend (even so, car has always been warmed up before driving) as I've gotten my motorbike license and have since been riding everywhere . Reason for sale is that I don’t need 3 cars, I have this, a track R33 and a bike - since I daily the bike this really is no longer needed and would just sit around (my girlfriend now has a car of her own). Modifications are minimal, just the essentials really - as follows. Splitfire Coil packs Tein S-Tech springs to bring it down to a reasonable height. GIZZMO Electronic boost controller set at 10PSI (never ran higher) Nistune Reprogrammable ECU tuned by GT Garage (to suit the boost change, otherwise the Neo's tend to over fuel) with a dyno sheet for ~175RWkW EBC Greenstuff Front and Rear Brake Pads EBC Ultimate slotted and cross-dimpled Front and Rear Rotors Apexi Turbo Timer Alarm/Immobiliser/Central locking Stock Airbox with Apexi drytype high-flow panel filter Stock Exhaust (and the limitation for power, a 3" system would bring it up to around 190kW which is a more reasonable figure, I just liked quiet for daily) Alpine MP3 CD player head unit Body & paint are in great condition! Asking $16,300 - Located in Hobart, Tasmania
  21. I've seen the way you drive, you've got a heavy foot... You'll blow yourself to pieces.
  22. I used to have Surecam regrinds @ 255/8.3 for a non-neo RB25, I was told that was the furthest they could be taken (from 240/7.8) peak power was at 6000 and torque at 5000 (from 5200/4500) so probably would'nt have wanted to push it much further anyway on a daily. Ran fine on stock tune, wanted a bit more ignition timing than standard cams, probably net ~ 10-15kW so they are a good option. Factory turbo’s and N/A's run the same cam profile just slightly different cam timing (at least with the R33's anyway) I think the neo's run less lift on the exhaust or something; Either way, you could probably make decent power on a turbo camshaft/aftermarket after some cam timing adjustment on the dyno
