  11. Yeah I have had that happen to me as well. I have also had my car searched outside of my house several times when I'm pulling into to my driveway, and even when I have been moving cars around to let my dad get his car out. Most of the time I will get followed home. When I turn off a main road right near my house I just indicate and pull over if they are still following me. Havnt’t had one yet drive past. They all stop and RBT and want to know what I’m doing etc. Its funny when you get RBT'd in your driveway. I drove up my driveway (cops followed me for about 1/2km to my house) did a 3 point turn on my lawn to reverse into my garage, got out, opened my garage door, turn around and police are standing next to my running car. "Is this your car sir and do you live here" Like diiirrrr. "Nar mate I open people’s garages for the hell of it and park their cars for them". Best I have had yet
  12. Yeah mate I completely know where your coming from. I have noticed when I get pull over on the way home from work, in a suit, it's worse. I'm always polite "Yes sir, No sir, How high you want me to jump sir" and most of the time they are ok. It’s the local power tripping ones in my area who give me the most grief and in most cases watch as my car is searched. Satanic you live not that far from me. How much you get pulled over? I get a friendly greeting on average once a fortnight. 3/5 times it’s within 5km of home.
  13. I believe it’s illegal for a driver to record (voice or video) without informing police officer. What is stopping us recording these "incidents" and sending them anonymously into ACurrentAffair or 60minutes? I have noticed a lot of posters saying they have filed complaints and were all but laughed at. We have copped a lot of flack from the stories labeling ALL skyline drivers as criminals, thugs and completly antisocial. I myself was discussed when I saw some of those stories and the people who seemed to be representing the whole high performance community. I believe its time something was done to show some of our views and the things we have to put up with whether it be police, thieves, or the jealous general public abuse. If anyone knows of any good recording equipment that can be hidden within the car please pm me.
  14. I have a new hate.. its courier vans..
  15. I have had cops try to defect me twice so far since buying my R32 in June. Once while I was dropping friends out at the Beach Road hotel in Bondi I had a paddy wagon double park with his rear taking up the intercetion and try to defect me. They went through everything that was shinny. I said that I believed the HKS SSQ BOV was standard replacement for the original to meet AUST laws when the car was imported. They tried to get me for air pod (which is boxed and needs 5 screws removed to undo) but I said it was standard under the box and had the box for airflow reasons and then pointed to my air duct for an example. They also had a go at hight till I pulled out and ruler and showed them it was legal. I was very very polite the whole time I even ask if they were gonna fine me for breaking the 5min parking I was sitting in Other time was on the pacific highway the day after the Lane Cove tunnel collapsed the other week. I was stuck in traffic as the lights were out and a copper walking down the middle of the road went over the car while I was in the right lane in the middle of the traffic jam!!! He made me pop the hood, looked it over and said "nice ride. Take it easy" and walked off. Funny experience I had turning onto the pacific highway in Chatswood about a month ago. It was about 11pm on a Sunday night. As I came around the corner there was a wagon with 2 female cops in it. I nodded and smiled at them both and popped the BOV and proceeded to drive my friend home.. On the way home I looked in my rear mirror and saw the same wagon. I'm like "Oh ****" and check my speed etc. They turned on the red and whites and when I went to pull over they raced past me and waved lol
  16. Lol I was waiting for you to notice
  17. Entering is fine for me. It’s getting out. My front bar noses into the ground if I don’t take an angle. Speed humps are ok normally. Its driveways of any kind. I start to cringe now even before I hear the scraping sound
  18. I was thinking that on the way to work this morning. I could become a copper and it would solve all my problems.
  19. Notice the entrance to a petrol station is ok but the exit is always f**ked. I always seem to go out the way I came in
  20. I had a 4wd incident on the day I got my car. I purchased my car from Autostyle and was driving home. I live in St Ives so I go up King Georges Rd, past Homebush under the Pacific highway, it becomes Mona Vale Rd and I follow it all the way to St Ives. I was going under the Pacific Highway in the left of two lanes. Now just past the under bridge heading towards St Ives a 3rd lane starts on the left which is the down ramp from the highway. A driver of a 4wd coming down the down ramp from the highway didn’t even look and without indicating started to change lanes. His wheels would have come within about 5cm of my door before I saw what was going on. I looked right of me and saw no one was there and swerved into the far right lane. If someone was there I would have been rooted. I jumped on my horn and the driver with his whole family in the car let go of the wheel and almost lost control swerving back into his lane and nearly running up the gutter.
  21. Oh I was on the M5 going from the airport to king georges rd on tuesday and was overtaking a semi when....... wait for it...... a bloody smart car doing over a hundred through the tunnels came up behind me about 1m off my tail and started flashing its high beams. I over took the semi and moved over and the smart car took off again. I remember seeing a sign saying something about speed cameras being in the tunnel before I entered it I could soooo put up dozens of incidents where skyline/P plate induced stupidity/jealously has occurred. Keep em coming
  22. I hate that. I had to have my car raised to get into/out of my driveway (car was 6cm high at the bottom of the front bar when it came into Aust) and I still need to take it on a mega angle. When someone parks a little infront of my driveway I cant get in because I have to just about have my wheels against the gutter before I tackel it. Oh and people in carparks who wait for people by sitting on the side of a speed hump. If its a mega mountain speed hump like the one outside St Ives Maccas in the car park I have to take it on a angle or I will destroy my front bar. People just park their cars on the right side of it and go and get Macca's. I have gotten to the point I just sit on my horn.
  23. I have also had a 4wheel drive overtake me on a speed hump in St Ives last week. I was going over it at about 10km/h and on a slight angle when a Land Cruiser went past me doing about 40km/h on my right. Scared the bejesus outa me. If anyone knows Memorial Ave St Ives. It was up the end outside the primary school and Toolang Ave.
