im sorry but i cannot get u a freight price because i dont have time... but if i was to guess from previous experience id say about $60-70?? because its fairly large and heavyish...its complete as removed from the car and its not real old because it still has the nissan part number sticker on it from new.....

i think oil will break down from getting too hot and been too old and copping a flogging before just sitting for 6 months or so would make it break down... you look at how long some of the q fleet and govt cars sit around sometimes and cars at some yards before they sell i bet they dont change the oil because they have been sitting for 6 months or so... sure they get started every now and then but thats not going to stop oil breaking down.... put it this way... if i was you and i was going to baby it and i just wanted a drive id drive it... im going to drive my new silvia home from the docks about 2 hrs drive as long as the fluid levels are ok and it runs ok... but remember in the end the decision is yours because if anything happens (which i honestly doubt) youll have to pay to repair it.....

a mate told me one day to put up thick cuirtans at the windows of my shed his theory was "they cant want what they cant see" so maybe this is why containers are a good option

i really think if it does show to be a safer option for ppl concidering it cost me extra $600 or so for container over roro u just think about how quickly $600 can be stolen in parts from an import and it seems a good option.. would only have to pinch a few of my defilink 2 guages and thats ya $600 right there!!!!!

just basically the chances of theft of parts as comapred to roro and i heard that the container would be tamper proof sealed untill i can open the container myself.. ( i guess there is a time frame on this so it possibly wont happen) the reason i went with a container is that its highly modded and has alot of electronice and good gear in it so i just wanna know how safe its all gonna be

yeah i got the complete setup but not in syd in qld..... im wiling to ship for the right price it still has the motors for the spoiler etcall there but the spoiler is damaged but should be useable still id say...

most parts still available and neg on some items as listed above....

has anyone shipped in a container??? my silvia is getting shipped in a container to prevernt damage and mainly the theft side of things just wondering if anyone else has done this?? :wassup: EDIT: just got onto j spec about it and they explained it all to me so now i know a bit more but if anyone else has info id be happy to hear it....

i think its time to revive this because people have new cars and new mods and hopefully the bad feelings from earlier in this thread will be long forgotton.... ive since sold my r32 gtst and have built a sr20det sileighty with mild mods but i have a 10 second t88 34d sr22det silvia on its way from japan so hopefully if everything is all good ill be throwing a graph up here to get things movin again after it lands here..... so what have we all done to our cars since we last spoke??

i dont think its a case of him been tight man i think its just the pleasure and ease of actually driving it rather than paying for a tilt tray to gavin woods....... and if he is taking it to gavin he's not a tight ass anyway so i think he just wants to take her for a maiden voyage go for it i rekon as long as u check the level of fluids and that the oil hasnt gotn totally bad i rekon youll be okay....(just dont fang it) personally i rekon a good drive and a bit of heat and then dump the oil os the way to go because it will loosen up any bits that have settled and theyll come out with the oil and change it then your set

hey guys i have a pair of rear calipers and rear discs for sale from a late r32 gtst coupe got them to do a brake conversion on my silvia but now im selling it so no longer needed.... $300 for the calipers and the discs including postage anywhere in oz... if there is intrest ill throw some pics up later on i dont know what size the discs are and i dont have any way of measuring them.. 90% complete rb20det intake manifold inclused injectors plenum aac runners etc etc no tps but does have fuel rail and regulator and the throttle body $150 pairs of front struts inc springs $100 pairs of rear struts inc springs $150 pair of brand new KYB rear struts in the boxes still have been assembled but never used $200 4 inch alloy pod filter adaptor very solid off rb20afm may fit rb25/vg30??? $50 r32 gtst blue dial instrument cluster with about 32k on it genuine $100 some misc front susp parts hubs and top arms etc cheap cheap tell me what u want.... i have a new stainless 3 inch cannon $220 plus posgae nice looking and brand new dunno about the measurements but i know it fits under a r32 gtst well...
