revhead my new silvia is getting shipped in a cintainer... with tamperproof seals i cant see how stuff can get pinched but i spose they cant want what they cant see!!!!

can anyone tell me if the cars getting shipped in containers are making it out of japan faster than the roro cars... maybe the container ones will get out faster... mine is comming in a container so im hoping this may be the case...

yeh i added it all up for my silvia aswell predator and i cane to the thinking that if i do it myself which im sure i could.... there could be a prob and not pass it which is my problem and alot of hassle to fix it... if they do it and it doesnt pass they fix it no hassle for me so i rekon thats the go and yeah they cant be making heaps of cash on it eh...

thanks guys much appretiated..... yeah sadly its gone now but now i have a sil80 ground up project yeah i know i know how could u go to an s13.... but i cant even answer that myself what started as a quick accident repair and touch up is now a full strip and full respray inc engine bay full susp redo inc coilovers engine mods etc etc etc lol actually the gearbox count not as bad as that when they rang and got details i thought mick said how do the rb20 gearboxes hold up and i said ive broken 3rd in my first but ive seen broken output shafts and second gears.... either that or i heard the wrong question or just gave the wrong response.... bad phone service does that to you....so yeah i only ever broke 1 box myself... the ol' 20 boxes held up good i rekon like everything just depends how u drive it im sure i could break a 25 box also but it would take more thrashin hehehe.... i just hope the new owner respects the car and the power it has (albeit not massive hp but enough to get u into trouble) and has fun at the same time!!!!!!!

its not an os giken its an exedy extreme clutch matt..... taking that clutch out is not an option... it shat a brand new heavy duty organic after 5 runs on the dyno this clutch is the only one thats been able to hack the power in an off the shelf clutch.... ive advised matt to find anoter cheap rb20 box to get him rolling again and to start taking it a little easier on the 20 box till he can afford to have all the bits to do the 25 conversion in one hit rather than taking 2 months to get all the bits together while the car is off the road.... he has only had it for 2 weeks all up so far..... hes just gotta get over the "i have a new car that spins the wheels whenever i want it to SIK BRO!!!" period haha and yeah incase anyone is wondering yeah its my old 32 gtst

let me know what u would spend on a well modified r32 5 speed gtst in very good condition im in qld but im happy to pay for plane ticket etc and sus the freight or fuel whichever way...

im with steve on this one the s14a j spec and s15 turbos are a great improvement over the normal t25g because of better power and also they are bb, im installing one on a stainless manifold with a split dump etc onto my new sil80 im building and all i want is 180rwkw and it seems i might just scrape it in

i also have one here in qld i think $100 plus freight... from what i remember i think it was near perfect ill have to double check if u are semi keen i can clean it up and take a pic or 2...

i have front struts... $100 per pair plus freight probably $120 all up.... in good nick too....

i have an extremely low km instrument cluster for sale $100 suit r32 gtst blue dials around 30000km on it!!!!!! :wassup:in good working condition as far as i could tell when it was in the half cut.... EDIT.... added another pic of the whole thing...

you can buy the plugs new at most fuel injection places if you are going to all the trouble of changing them id juat replace them with newies.... i think they are $5 each or somethin very easy to find just take one in as a sample.... i think youll find that vn-s v8 and 6 are the same plug hope that helps

yeah the gtr injectors are good i have them in my rb20 r32 gtst with a microtech lt12 plug in and a malipassi regulator and all factory internals.... 232 rwkw on 18 psi at the last sau dyno day up here and i think the injectors are at about 67% duty
