hey guys im just wondering if there is any way of upgrading the coil packs on my r32 rb20det... ive heard of the splitfire setups but they are too expensive.... anyone got any suggestions???

fark i cant wait till i get to get there again.... hopefully i can run a fat 16 sec eh??

To my understanding u can get brass/ceramic button clutches on a solid or sprung centre..... obviously the solid centre is just pretty much on/off and the sprung one has a bit more give but is still pretty hard to slip etc... but the sprung ones can be slipped a bit but its not reccomended....i had a super heavy duty organic clutch in mine that was about 8000km old and it shat on the dyno since i increased the power and even slipped its ass off on low boost (7 psi) thats why i went semi hardcore this time........

how did u run it in???like how many km did u do b4 thrashing it and also whats the expected life of one of these if its not slipped excessively???? mine is a 5 puck sprung centre brass button exedy extreme clutch.. good for 600hp or so...im wacking it in tomorow.... cheers guys Jon

im in toowoomba qld.... but its not worth driving there to get it... i really want the factory bung instead of a dodgy one thats not meant for the intended job cause i have a rubber shop one now and its too thin and the heat has affected it cause its so close to my dump pipe....im happy to pay postage etc for it... but if its not worth your mucking around i understand...

how can i get it off ya dude??? i sorta need it asap cause im sick of the fumes/heat comming thru the hole.... ill pay postage etc if u throw it in envelope or somethin... whatver mate...

im a car detailer... just take it to car lovers use the degreaser provided aswell as 1 can of $2 stuff for grimy areas and leave for a few mins the just attack it with the hi pressure soap for a sec which neutralises the de greaser then rince it well with water making sure to get it all off..... dont cover electrics at all and dont worry about leaving bonnet open just take it for a 15 min drive afterwards and that will disipate all the water enough.... just watch the degreaser on the paintwork on the outside of the car cause it will mark it if left on (the engine bay paint doesnt really matter cause it is a matt finish most times anyway) if you do mark the paint just attack it with a cream polish till its gone.... if you have any other detailing woes feel free to ask me cause ive done it for years....

i also have a std r32 gtst intercooler $100 ono!!!

my tuner seems to think that my spark is been blown out with excessive boost.... above 16 psi it missfires etc but at the 16 psi it has about 300rwhp or so... im just wondering if it could be something in the tuning of the microtech.... i have irridum plugs gapped to .6 mm..... im just thinking the coil packs may not be putting out enuf spark/strong enuf spark... what sorta power at the wheels are the std coils and igniter setup good for on a r32 rb20det??? cheers guys...

hey guys im in need of the little bung/plug that goes in where the air con drain comes through the firewall in a r32 gtst... just sorta behind the dump pipe area of the firewall about the size of a 50c piece with a 10mm or so hole on it.... cheers guys...

hey guys.... as most of you know there is a circuit at warwick and its alot of fun.... some of us went to the last race day and for around $40 we had a SH!TLOAD of fun.... i think the next one is the 14th of december (sunday) im still trying to confirm this with the organisers... there is food out there (bbq) and drinks etc and its a really easy going atmosphere as those who attended will also say.... ill be debuing my r32 with its new setup hopefully (so thats reason in itself to attend :wassup: )... but seriously its the best value for money event and the most fun you can have in ANY car not just a skyline.... any car would be fun out there.... fingers crossed my car will be all sorted and ready to rock and roll by then..... all you need is basically a roadworthy car,fuel and the money to enter.... you get heaps of track time probably too much really lol.... im in the middle of moving house at the moment so it may be a short while till i can get back on and confirm details/answer questions so perhaps slip or mick or jay or belgarion etc could help anyone out who asks questions so they get answers in a short time....

as above i just mainly need the .64 t2 flange exh housing but ill buy a complete cheap ass turbo if i have to.... just has to have a good exh housing... dont wanna pay stuff all cause they arent worth much anyway....

its actually a good thing eh.. it has the roll on it which allows movement and vibration etc so its a good setup really... im a tight ass but i was happy to pay that... its good quality and its pretty heavy duty too..

im getting a 3 to 4 inch rubber pipe tomorow... i ordered it thru my company... cost is $60 black only or i may be able to source u a silicone one but expect $100 or so....

well i know the 3 inch bends are $25 new so how about $20 plus ill pay the postage etc for the cod....how does that sound??

if the bend is for 2.5 inch o.d pipe and can handle boost im keen ... whats the asking price on it please... after one this week and will u cod it to me in qld??? cheers Jon

its an 8250 in very good condition its not worth finding a camera and taking pics cause they all look the same lol.... it has a chameleon front cover aswell....its in good condition for sure... not very old at all...
