  1. This is about the only thing ive found? What you guys reckon? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
  2. Sweet. Anyone got any suggestions for what i could put on the top of my gearstick then? And where to look? A shift pattern or something like a GTR logo would be cool, would need to be about the size of a 10cent coin though....????
  3. The thing is, my GTR came with this exact gearstick, but mine is missing the GTR sticker on the top, all i got was some glue residue where it used to be!! lol!!
  4. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...A%3AIT&rd=1 Wonder if it really is "rare". I dont think ive seen one before...
  5. The HKS 2540's are no longer available off the shelf, they have now been superceded by the HKS GT-RS. Someone here will know the exact specs difference, i dont. But the GT-RS do seem to have similar boost response to the 2540's but with more topend. The 2540's have often been critised for their laggy feel compared to their closet alternative from HKS, the 2530's. The GT-RS were supposed to be faster to spool and offer more power than the 2540's but from what ive seen, they do make more power, but they are still laggy. Hope that helps a bit...
  6. Thats one of the nicest CF bonnets ive seen. Good luck with the sale...
  7. Make sure that the 4 plugs in the back of the silver Attessa ecu in your boot on the underside of the rear shelf are all in tight. This might also help a bit. http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R32-Fuses.htm
  8. Bought my GTR through Autostyle. Dom is a good bloke and helped me out after i bought the car, even though i didnt have a warranty with it. Id definatley use them again...
  9. Ive had to pull out of buying this. Free bump. Cheers.
  10. Come on fella's i need a bit of a reality check here. Who puts the most KM's on their Skyline a week? GTst and GTR? Just curious. I seem to have gotten it in my head that these are fragile little cars that need protecting!! LOL!! And cant cope with general useage, which i know isnt true... Im still thinking of buying a cheap run around as a second car when i have to go back to a 40KM round trip to work and back early next year... ( at the moment im renting within walking distance of my work) So give it to me..... I can take it....
  11. Good work mate. Just 2 little things. I like your jar opening mats for the filter!! LOL!! I gave up on wrenchs for the oil filter a while ago, i use a small sheet of sand paper and grip it by hand. Also, ive got the same relocater oil filter kit in my GTR i think. One thing that makes changeing the oil filter less messy, is if you mount it just passed horizontal with the thread end pointing up slightley. Less mess and far less drips when you come to change it. With it how you've got the filter angled, you'll get a nice stream of oil run outta the filter and go everywhere when you come to change it. Might not work for you. Good luck. Cheers.
  12. I beleive they're located as close to the cars centre of gravity as possible. I think you gain access to them under your cars centre console trim. Someone else might shed more light on it for you.
  13. Sweet. Ill have to drop by and give it a thrash Morgs..
  14. I searched the site and found several thousand results, but not a simple explanation. Ive seen a couple of R32 GTR's with the front corner indicators (next to the headlights) clear instead of the usual amber. Just curious wether you can buy these, make them and who you have to sleep with in order to find out. Also are they still legal in NSW? Cheers boys....
  15. Not good. Im guessing the oil spilling everywhere was from the plate you installed for the oil temp sender. Needless to say turning the engine over and checking for leaks before driveing off is advised. Mabey you didnt tighten something up or the plate is the wrong size. You'll have to refill the engine and turn it over and see how it runs, you might get lucky and nothing major would of cooked. Either way those 20km without oil would of done about 100,000km of normal wear and tear....
  16. Sorry, is the N1 lip, for the bonnet or the one that goes on the boot lid under the rear spoiler? Cheers.
  17. So whats most likely to die when you flat shift? Gearbox syncros?
  18. How do you not hit the rev limiter then? Say i dip the clutch to change gears at 8000RPM, in the time im changeing gears, my foot is still on the gas. So when i dip the clutch wont the car "free-rev" up to the limiter?
  19. Is "Flat Shifting" as brutal as i think it is? Do you not dip the clutch or not come off the gas? Or both!!
  20. What car is this for? Will it fit a R32 GTR? And where are you located?
  21. Thats about the quickest time ive seen for stock turbo's.... Ive heard of a few NZ boys cracking mid 11s with stock turbo's, anything under 11.99sec is very good IMO. Ive seen a R33 GTR with hi-flowed stockies make 280RWKW and run 11.70 @ 117MPH. I thought that was pretty impressive. I also know of a R32GTR with R34 N1's that ran 11.20....
  22. Does it only mount up to a R32GTR with a N1 front bar? Cheers.
  23. ????? How do i do that??? Cheers.... Ill give the WD40 can a go aswell...
  24. This seems to be getting steadily worse. I go to pull the bonnet release handle, and am finding it harder and harder to get it to release the bonnet. Sometimes it doesnt matter how hard you pull it (im talking commando style) it just doesnt budge. I try giggling it and twisting and turning the handle, and usually after 5-6 attempts it works fine. But where as it used to take 1-2 tries, its now 5-6 times, and im worried one day it aint gonna work at all. Can anyone please help me with where i should start looking for the fault? Is there a cable tightener or adjuster, either under the dash or under the bonnet? Please any help appreciated, just want some advice before i grab the spanners and go on another crusade.. Thanks guys....
  25. Hey Morgs, ive dealt with Autostyle before. I bought my GTR off them, Dom Russo is a nice bloke and i found him to be honest. Depsite not haveing to, he payed for some repairs to my car a few days after i bought it when it broke down on me, despite not haveing a warranty, which i thought was pretty good of him. I traded my highly modified Mazda GTR to them aswell which saved me the hassle of selling a car that would of been difficult. If/When the day comes to sell my GTR im pretty sure ill let someone like Autostyle sell it for me. Let them advertise and give up their time for potential buyers. Plus id be shit scared of being jumped for the car if i was selling it privately. When Jimbo and his 2 mates covered in tatts turn up and want a test drive, id be getting pretty nervous!!!! They do take a commision, but im not sure of the %. If the GTR isnt your daily driver then id give it a go, if its your sole transport then its not really an option... Cheers, good luck with the sale...
