If they were to only use your common everyday S13 - S15 in th emovie, then how damn boring would that have been... SEAT!!!!!!! Why does everyone forget this........ to have the most amount of fun possible, and to get good..you will need a seat, easpecially if you get an SR20 sil / 180, those seats are useless. You will spend most of your time fighting with your body to keep it in place...no fun there. With a seat i garuntee you will be more confident and can concentrate more on what is needed behind the wheel. As for cars.... then no doubt an S13...their chassis is almost unbeatable when it comes to slidability. And the SR20 is perfect for drift, light weight.... and alot of low down tourqe... much needed for drift. i think in priority of mods for drift..... - DIFF - coilovers - seat Then whatever tickles your fancy.... cooler + boost if you want, and castor rods will make things easier etc

basically, promoting Aussie's driving skills, along with Dr-drifts tuning skills to mkae that power from such little mods etc. it also has a lot to do with subliminal messaging... now some people who havnt heard of Dr-Drift, now have.....and some who havnt heard the name for a while, it has just been brought up or them again. cheers
