Yeah theres a '32 at the wreckers up here but as you said radiator was one of the first things f**ked in it.. There's 52mm alloy ones on ebay at the moment for about $250 new that's been the best option so far.

After a cheap stock radiator should have mentioned sorry.

Cost me $60 to fly to melb, $210 for the boat and used about $45 petrol. Then it is just the $45 to get it passed, and rego on top... No where near thousands when I did it but oh well.. :S

Also need a radiator and if possible a cheap GTR/M Spec front bar...

If that fails, try find Erica (used to drive the one that got wrapped around a pole). I here she stripped her 33 of absolutley everything.

Figured out the problem, accelerator cable wasn't letting go the entire way, causing the high idle and the over fuel backfires..

Hey, My car started playing up yesterday after I took it for a drive. I noticed when backing of the accelerator it wasn't the smooth RB note more of a dirty old carby engine backfirey gurgle sound, also when the car is cold it will idle about 1200RPM and when warm will sit anywhere between 1500 and 2000. It still drives under acceleration properly, and there are no wanring lights, all guages indicate there is nothing wrong either. Would really appreciate any information about what could be the cause of this problem. Thanks, Jayson

You still in Tas mate, is it only the one R33 stocko or a full set?

My experience is the same as Tasr32's. Chewed the shit aswell, barely even got 300kms to a tank on a relatively stock RB20DET. I can get about 400 on Shell PULP and it runs really well also.
