BUMP... These boards sell for $400 - 600 second hand... No one here windsurfs or wanna learn?

Hi guys and gals, My power steering started playing up again and it is due to a power steering fluid leak as diagnosed by my trusted mechanic. He has just gotten a quote from Nissan that the 3 power steering hoses that needs to be replaced costs $800 from Nissan and had to be ordered from Japan. $800 for 3 hoses!!! I was thinking a few hundred due to one of the hoses is a high pressure flexable hose but $800...??? Does this sound about right? I don't want to get 2nd hand from the wreckers as I might have the same issues again. Does anyone know where I can get cheaper? Thanks.

Anti-lag system... I had it on my WRX and works and sounds great! I had Autronics SMC with Anti-lag.

I had the exact same problem few years back with my previous car. Had an aftermarket zorst and the muffler gave in... The metal tubular mesh inside came off and was rattling inside the muffler. It was only audible at certain rev ranges especially idle and lower revs. Crusing is fine. As rd-runr said, give it a fair whack with the palm of your hand and you'll hear metal bits inside...

I think it's a Volvo. The tail and head lights look very similar to the current model Volvos and the head restraints are typical Volvo as seen on every model...

The Silver one! I have sat and taken a ride in it and it's out of this world. I used to live in Perth and had my cars modified by Speedworks as my good mate was the Head Mechanic there. Why the Silver one? Coz for starters it has a full JUN RB26 with JUN 2.7 stroker kit. I believe just the complete engine fully built by JUN was shipped over from Japan to Perth and costed $120K alone. Plus it has an original JUN body kit. Koyama-san (VP of JUN) came over and tuned the car himself... and personally autographed the engine! First gear pulls 90Km/h top speed... floor it in 3rd gear at 100km/h and it breaks all 4 wheels traction... This car had no expense spared!

Hey Dark, I'm running 20 psi on the WRX... With a 4Kg JUN flywheel, the engine builds revs quickly and and hardly any lag... I can also switch on anti-lag on the Autronics for full boost at anytime...

400HP is definately easily achievable from the RB25DET... Although my R33 GTS-t is fairly stock (daily driver), I'm currently getting 260HP at all 4 wheels from my MY98 WRX... which is well over 400HP at the flywheel. Engine mods I did to my EJ20T included: IHI VF23 turbo (2nd largest STi turbo) Bigger TMIC 3" cat back zorst / pod Autronics SMC That was all that was needed to crack 400HP with a EJ20T... so with RB25DET, maybe less... B)

Could be a leaky exhaust...

Just get one from Nissan... Got mine for $20 brand new, genuine Nissan item. Or look from wreckers... Same as 200SX

I'm after the left rear passenger hand grip (bolted on the interior roof lining) if you have it. I can come pick up at Burwood.
