As ewhs said... the battery was unique. I had mine for years until the battery gave up and I couldn't find any replacement batteries. In the end I sold it 2 years ago for like $40 to a Nokia collector. Get the Nokia 8850 instead. It was a much better phone. Not like the 8810 with the chrome peeling and all...

I've already bitten the bullet 1.5 years ago when I sold my 'line and bought a brand new Accord. Definatelty a big difference at the pump not just in fuel consumption but difference in price using regular 91 RON compared to using 98 RON.

All to their own... In the end, it's all about cars, our passion, what we love, how we choose to express our individuality and our perception on how a car should be. Personally, I'm with GUN_METAL_GTR32... I like a car for the way it has been designed, straight from the factory. I've never bothered with bodykits. For me, it's what's under the bonnet that counts, the sleeper look and it get them everytime! I mean, if you don't like the way the car looks from the factory and go through all the costs of modifying the look of it, why did you buy it in the first place??

I recall seeing something about VW making a one-off prototype Golf with a mid mounted Gallardo V10... Let me see if I can dig it up...

Did anyone watch the Perth round of ARC on TV over the weekend? The TRD Corolla has changed to the Super 2000 class, which means they are now running a 2L NA engine. It sounds like a highly tuned K20 from a Honda S2000 driving all 4 wheels and it blitz all the other competitors. Correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone knows exactly what engine they are running? I do not know of any 2L NA engines from Toyota... A turbo 4 cyl engine has always dominated the Rally scene (both in WRC and ARC) but are things about to change?

I know this is not directly related to the R35 GT-R but since Renault owns Nissan, they can build a supercar based on the R35 GT-R. They have in the past built some legendary cars. Renault 5 Turbo and Espace F1 comes to mind. They are also heavily involved in motorsport in F1 and who could forget the Renault Laguna in BTCC. I think costs will be minimal. All the have to do is design a body shell to fit over the existing R35 GT-R platform, maybe a slightly higher tune (use V spec maybe). They can sell it for around $200K and target competitors like Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Jaguar XKR. Some purist will probably see it as a bad idea pinching GT-Rs platform and being a Nissan forum, I'll probably get flamed but I think Renault is missing out on an oppurtunity here...

Haha! I had Anti-lag on my WRX and I used to switch it on, bring up the revs and watch the 3 foot flames! Tailgater backs right off and never considers racing you again...
