I had my 33 GTS-T for 5.5 years and no major problems. Only thing was power steering hoses started leaking and air-cond fan control switch died. Normal wear and tear items... Not bad for a 12 year old car!

Don't do it. The time, effort and money spent on making it NA is not worth it. Sell it, by an NA Skyline if you still want a Skyline to drive for next 3 years and pocket the extra cash.

No doubt it looks the goods... but an LS1 in a R34 GTR? Even tho it's twin turbo, but that's a bit politically incorrect...

Any car that been grey or personal imported will be hard to sell unless it is going for cheap... I brought in a 3 series BMW under personal imports a few years ago thinking it is a popular car but once the potential buyer knew it was a personal import, they either lose interest or try to cut my asking price by $5K... So I gave it to my Mum to drive rather than selling for dirt cheap.

Definately bring in something that's not mass grey imported... NSX-R / Accord Euro-R / Civic Type R S2000 2.2L Legnum or Galant VR4 M35 Stagea or V35 Skyline EVO 8 List goes on... but if it was my pick it definately would be the NSX-R

Yeah, it was driven on weekends only as I caught the train to work. When I bought it it had only done 26,000Kms and sold it at 60,000Kms. 34,000Kms in 5.5 years...! Well, hope your mate enjoys it as much as I did!

I just been informed that my old car, a 95 R33 GTS-T has been sent to Adelaide from Sydney and has been re-registered with SA plates (not sure of rego number)... Anyway, if anyone has seen this car on the road... That's my old car!!!

Prestige are Perth based and I've had a few mates that bought cars through them. I've heard nothing but good comments about them. All they charge is their $1000 commission. You pay for the cost of the car bought at auction and you set the limit. They even supply the auction sheet as proof. They then ship the car to wherever you want. Their estimates are usually spot on to the final price.
