R32 Sedan Trackcar With Fresh Rb26Dett
Tangles replied to Tangles's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Engine running-in is now complete Drives like a dream, and has massive response for 8psi Will be tuned once Ive sold the house & moved out (by years end). -
good on you for the Link. Im going to call him soon and get a quote for repairs to rear fenders (paint chipped/cracked/flaked when rolling the guards), as well as for the dreaded Stagea mirror rust bubbles. We'll see what the go is.

Im quite COMFY with my 17" BobJane T-Mart specials @ $125 each. They were on the stagea & I was very happy with how they looked, now they are on the track car. Went along with some no-name ebay specials "drif-z" 18" mags on the stagea & am very happy with those. I dont see the need for brand name rolling stock. drif-z wheels pic - bobJ Tmart wheels on stagea pic -

lol dohmar! Too TRUE.... =) Luke, sounds silly but eBay is the go. Last time I bought runners I got 2 pairs of great nikes for ~120, most expensive pair rrp for 250. Just work out your US/GB/Euro size and browse online. Mr Sherlock, cheers for the support - you sir are a kind soul. As are you all whom have wished me well; it means a lot to me. Thank you

Mate, thanks; I cant believe the difference in how I feel now Im clean of the Fentanyl. Obviously knees are sore- but Im just dealing with it, as I'll have to do for the remainder of my lifetime. Flipside is my outlook for life is 100% opposite to how Ive been the past few years. Bring it on I say. 'Tips Hat to all the good folk out there.

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Tangles replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Bottom end is back together, everything should be bolted up by Monday and nesstled in the engine bay by mid-next week. End next week should have my C34 back! YaY! Only thing to be looked at in the future would be sorting out the mirror rust and tidying up some areas of the body, as not much else would be "stock". 6yrs in the making. However, over the next 4-5yrs, I'll be using the car minimally as I plan to get the train into the city for my up'n'coming Uni studies. I cant forsee myself spending anymore on this stagea. Perhaps the rust/re-paint and perhaps a Z32 Nistune ecu setup, but thats it. -
Private Track Day - What Would Sau Do?
Tangles replied to Grungle's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
From a Stagea driver (only daily) who's experienced Mallala's ups and downs. DO NOT use your stagea UNLESS you have an after market engine oil cooler. DO NOT use your stagea UNLESS you have track-orientated brake pads. 1st time out I had no brake pads after the second 20min session, 3rd session was metal on metal, and squeeled my way home at lunchtime. 2nd time out had QFM A1RM track pads & they were fine, but cooked the engine in the 3rd session. Home at lunchtime again. 3rd time out damage had obviously been done when the oil/water boiled, ringlands were weakened, within half an hour the engine had blown. Brakes and cooling were excellent tho by this point, but as said damage was already done. Been without the car since April (drove it a cple times until it wouldnt go any further). Should finally have it back end next week. The costs involved in rebuilding the bottom end has hit me hard, as being a pensioner I cant afford my mortgage (house has been for sale since Feb, under contract for 5months but no end in sight yet. Need to sell to payout the loan, payout the exwife, and have some funds to put me through Medical Science uni studies starting next year). Plus being on a horrible medication called Fentanyl - 80x strength of heroin - mentally it all got to me a fair bit. Got off the meds 3weeks ago and life is looking up again (once the bank is off my back). In short you Must have: excellent track quality brake pads at a minimum, excellent water cooling & oil cooling. Otherwise you could be playing with fire. If you cant afford to break it then maybe best not to use the car (as Ive found out the hard way). -
Sa: S1 C34 Cargo Net & Front/rear Swaybars
Tangles replied to Tangles's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I remember back in the day when these C34 cargo nets were WANTED! by all and sundry. Got one if you want it - take the stock swaybars and front rotors with it (for your spare parts collection) Morphett Vale pickup, $100 ono -
thanks mate - and a rewarding career working with highend technology to help the everyday person who is sick/unwell or injured/in-pain I know how debilitating chronic pain is & how much it effects you and your surroundings, so if I can forge a career out of helping others Id be over the moon. "The path to greatness is neither easy nor predictable". My goals are: preparing for Uni by covering the 3-main text books used for the first two years, get thru 1st semester, 1st year then 2nd year & start the clinical placement, get the degree & accreditation in radiation science, get work in the diagnostic imaging field, finally get some income & buy a house again, and reward myself with a Blue R35 by around 2018. Step by step, little by little, I really want to work towards my goals. If I find its beyond me then so be it, but its nice to dream (again)

you wanna a PITA? got a 3day permit today to run-in the fresh 26 trackcar a little more, was out past Strathalbyn near Goolwa when I lost all brake pressure. Got it home ok, nice and easy, to find the rear left metal brake line had been rubbing against the rim for sometime. $70 got me a new braided line from ABS morphett vale. Fuel, rego, brake line fiasco turned into an expensive day for me Also had the Bank on my case; bastards. Paying as much as I can onto the mortgage while I await the contract on the sale of the house to finalize; real hard paying 1100pm on a 1200pm pension! The bank is only owed a quarter of the contract sale price on the house but are acting as if its such a big deal. Ive let them know monthly how things are progressing since Febuary when the house was first advertised and I cant say theyve been all that accommodating. Wont ever borrow from the Comm.Bank again. Finally - to all my wellwishers here on SAU I thank you. Been 3 weeks since Ive been off the Medication (Fentanyl, google it - very nasty stuff with disgusting side effects); can proudly say since Ive been med-free I havent had a depressive episode. I reckon the past 3yrs Ive been clinically insane; many of my decisions were on the basis that Id 'top myself soon' so what does it matter? Im so glad Im now over that period in my life, been a rough 4yrs since the patellas were removed. Im dealing with the pain OK without meds & am very much looking forward to my Uni.SA Medical Science studies next year, I just hope Ive got what it takes. Studied half of the anatomy text over the past 3 weeks and actually taking it in!! A month ago it was all gibberish but now my mind is clear Im just looking forward to studying for 4yrs towards a good, decent, moral profession in diagnostic imaging.

DOESNT IT WHAT! I would seriously LOVE to own something like that ^ Matt you're welcome over anytime to pickup the heater core for Steve. Its out front of the entrance way (front house gate) if I happen to be out for a while.

I bought a GT3076 from Bill at ATS - he made it up for me from a genuine ball bearing garret GT3076r core, an AVO .73ar rear housing that is internal gate and bolts up in stock position to the 6bolt dump pipe, and he ported out the front stock nissan compressor housing to the 'max'. With the auto had it up to 250rwkw at 1bar with S15 silvia 450cc injectors - definately more in it. Id recommend Bills GT3076r "stock" looking turbo over the GCG unit, which he can also supply. Adelaide Turbo Services are a great business & Bill Keen is a champion bloke.

R32 Sedan Trackcar With Fresh Rb26Dett
Tangles replied to Tangles's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I REALLY dont want to; trust me on that. My plans were to track the car 3x a year for the next 5 or so years while I go through University studies. Have to sell the House in regards to the divorce, on the disability pension & I cant meet the repayments currently so the Bank is getting antsy on me. If someone wants the track car more than I do then so be it, they'll be getting a "half price" bargain, but I wont be giving it away. If the contract on the house sale finally goes through (been under contract for 1/3 of the year now) then I wont sell this track car, but the house buyers are stalling, stalling & its put me in a bit of a financial hole so I must keep my options open. -
Willall Racing is a SAU:SA club sponser for a reason: they stand by their work & are passionate about being involved within the motorsport community. Glad you are a happy chappy. You could scan or photograph the dyno graphs & post them up. Long term goal for me (6years time perhaps) is to own an pre-loved R35. One day. Got to start from scratch again, unfortunately. Disability pension, divorce, selling house, starting Medical Science radiation therapy next year at Uni and if successful after the 4yr course (included 48weeks of clinical placements over the 3rd & 4th years) I can hopefully get a decent job in the SA Health system as a diagnostic imaging tech, get back into home ownership (started 1st house purchase prior to my 19th birthday but everything went to the shitters once I multiple surgeries). If I can do this course then I definately want to reward myself with a blue R35

positive for $200 you can buy a 300zx heater core new, same as r33/c34 stagea from the research I've done. Natrad radiators can fit one for you, or go thru your tuner.
