  1. got a pump in the pool shed that I could use. so if anyone knows of someone wanting to get rid of a spa - even just a shell, let us know. on the flipside, if you know someone who would want a pool and can rip it outa the ground (fibreglass), fill in hole and transport the shell and pump etc etc, then they are welcome to it.
  2. LMFAO no, for my bad knees lol, just thought Id post and ask the question. You never know unless ya ask. fyi: minimum of $1800 for a made to measure recliner chair for my 201cm tall frame cant afford a plasma anyway, and alreayd got SK's suspn
  3. anyone got a portable spa in perfect working order they want to get rid off??? would prefer electric I guess. also looking for a recliner chair made to measure for a giant !!!
  4. lol I DID in fact use it on my V8 BT-1 VR commodore - and did notice and increase in pull (torque). not BS'ting either
  5. I think we're all like that ! lol, meh Im done and over with the mods unfortunately (will install all my goodies myself to save $, and get a simple retune); got to save for a spa now for my bad knees..... cant believe its been over a year now of ownership !!! minimum of 9 more to go
  6. hhmmm - maybe another 'form' of security is to do a performance modification, ie direct-wire your new bosch larger-flowing fuel pump to the battery, and have 30amp fuses installed with it......... I can alarm and lock my car (knowing its safe with insurance) and also pull the fuel pump fuses so a thief has little chance of starting it and working out why its not priming.
  7. Yeah, went from 140 to 160awkw. With the CAI box Ive got now, getting more airfeed so Id definately be able to pick up 5-10awkw IMO. Waiting to receive my highflow turbo tho............. expecting close to 200awkw with a Slide Performance turbo. 2nd gear dynotune, as its a auto. With autos, when trying to tune them they can have a habit of knocking down into 2nd gear when flat on the gas in 3rd gear. I believe this 'knocking down of the gear' might make it potentialy dangerous for the dyno operators...........?
  8. always wanted a R33 coupe, but with the impending birth of our 2nd kiddie it wasnt meant to be, so I bit the bullet in mid July 2005 and flew to Qld to buy my Series 1 for just shy of 18k - was cheapest in Aust at that time.
  9. I got a bell mouth (not split system) turbo to cat dump pipe, 3inch stainless steel, for $220 from JustJap on ebay. Top quality for the price I guess, and definately a power gain Nozila, I know what you mean about rather buying a split pipe to start with, guess it comes down to finances at the time tho I figured myself $200ish was more than adequate, rather then twice that for a split system. Maybe one day down the track....................... Hmmmm - anyone want a 3inch bellmouth stainless steel turbo to cat pipe? only 4000kms old !
  10. Mine is exactly like that, just got it from Just Jap on ebay for a tad over $200 delivered, stainless steel tho. Good quality, fits easy enough, and got a 20awkw gain with when installed with a highflow cat, a 040 fuel pump, nismo fpr and retune of safc/sitc. I reckon the tune could have had another 10awkw in it tho Andru - dont stuff around with getting the dump mate, if youve got ~$450 to burn then definately get a Batmbl split dump system - no questions asked of quality and PROVEN performance, or spend half that on a flynn-type dump to cat pipe, and get this bloke to knock up a 3inch catback system. Or buy a brand name cat-back system, whatever you thinks best !
  11. He'd have to mock it up right, to get the proper clearance for the Oxygen sensor, and from what I gather the split pipes are meant to be around 30cm in length for there to be a benefit. I personally went fora standard bell-mouth 3inch stainless steel pipe, from turbo to catalytic-converter. Its easy and cheap to make; do that and then bolt on a highflow cat, and go hell for leather with his cutsom cat-back system......................... * dont go toooo loaud tho
  12. hhhmmm, I liked the white rims on your car. but hey, its YOUR car !! so enjoy either way ! I personally just went for a set of $600 R34 GTT rims, looks good enough for me, and doesnt make the car stand out. Go the Stealth !
  13. Bump - will sell for 10k cold hard cash
  14. Looks nice matey ! congrats
  15. Received mine today for a Rb25det, received the same as above ^, CP-020 Left trader rating for you Dom, cheers

  18. was having acupuncture at the time we heard it on the radio........ that last needle hurt. 2 aussie icons gone - both in tragic circumstances, in half a week a few generations of Aussies have been touched by sadness this week.
  19. Gary, have a read of this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=132632 would be keen to hear your thoughts.
  20. you can have my turbo to cat stnd pipe for $20 if ytou need a good cond spare!
  21. Seems to me you're not feeling the pedal correctly - maybe invest in a set of front braided brake lines to take the spongyness out of the pedal feel, definately get your shock absorbers (all 4) checked and possible replaced, check all the brake pads and discs for abnormal wear, and possibly invest in new suspn mount bushes etc, oh............and listen to the advice below, :
  22. LOL thats right, SK is one of US !!!
  23. so it got to 1.2 bar before it blew? thats like 17.64psi isnt it? shite.......... sorry to hear that. what sort of intercooler? standard? if so - Id just junk the mofo, and upgrade, maybe like to the $399 group buy thats currently on, or something like that. cant think of a way to get metal slivers out, bar a LOT of 50:50 kero:metho mix flushes. check your oil filter too, ie cut it open and have a look inside - oh and flush the oil, flush it again (use like 15ltrs of crud cheapy oil) and see how it comes out. see whats in there.................. good luck

  25. Youd be mad to buy one of those, with the thought of modifying it. LOL While unique, the money needed to make it a) handle & b) go/stop is outrageous. Remember where you are riding - be safe about it. Id have little confidence in a scooter in a big situation (aquaplanning, pothole, emergency braking procedure, etc), whereas with a 'proper' bike youve generally got quality components to help aid your control on the handling. Better off buying a used 96 ZX7R Ninja for 5k, or a VTR 1000 Firestorm of same era for same $, etc. Or in liue of 5k for that and spending a little getting it sorted for daily commuting, why not a 99 model ZX9R or Fireblade - both particulalry comfy allrounders (had both). Maybe a streetfighter tho is whats called for, there are alot of mean streetfighter bikes available for under 10k, 9k, 8k, whatever your end budget might be for a scooter. Hell, you can get a nice 1994 ZXR750 Ninja for 4k, they go damn nice! A 'proper' bie can be cheap to commute on, in a sense, but yet mind-boggling unbelieveable fun, with power handling and braking ability that is so much 'safer' in my opinion than a scooter / 250cc hack (generally any 250cc is a hack unless its had 20g thrown at it, to race) - and youd get drawn in to the weekend rides, finding the curviest route on your way. Flame me, meh - but since becoming a rider almost 9yrs ago, the feeling is that I'll always be a rider. At the moment tho sadly I have to step off. Good luck with your choice. Be safe and stay aware - DONT get complacent while riding. Brendan
