  1. edited: hopefully the ebay purchase from Phill is all sorted out now.
  2. seems he's still at it - on ebay now. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=260017660522 bad trader
  3. edited: Looks like its on the way now..... good-o http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=260017660522
  4. BJ - whats the ETA for series1 guides to be made up and posted?
  5. Induction noise is annoying - wayyy too boy-ricer for my liking. Got a K&N pod filter in Maxx's CAI box with clear lid. Ive filled up the box with heat resistant foam to try to deaden some of the induction sound. Quieter and liveable at this stage, but when on boost damn it's still loud. Meh
  6. Its happening more & more on ebay lately..... I used to buy a lot of stuff over ebay and for years didnt have any trouble, but not anymore (mainly due to $$ constraints) as Ive lost trust due to some scammers on ebay. Having "trouble" getting my VG30 highflowed turbo which I bought off ebay a few weeks ago. Good 'ole "Grey Pages" helped provide some contact details........ but still you shouldnt have to resort to "extravagant" means in order to get the product thats rightfully yours / or money back. Good luck with getting back the ca$h. Brendan
  7. I dont drive "with"... just drive hahaha - anyway, spotted non-skylines..... a Toyota Chaser V sedan (now THATS a realman's camry!), and chatted to a 55yrold in a silver 180sx series 2 with 3-spoke mags, full zaust, very nice and subtle bodykit that accentated the lines of the coupe, etc. Nicest S2 180sx Ive ever seen. Had a laugh with him when I suggested he'd be more suited to the Stag ! cheeky
  8. weed doesnt make you spend $700 on a pfffft-device. lol.... anyway Autobarn are notorious for markups. 4-ply Thermaltake silicone hose, $24 for a 90degree peice off ebay JustJap, at Autobarn they are $64! I'll never shop there. I thought GFB's come with flame throwers too ??? lol (sorry, cheap I know)
  9. did he mention they were majik?
  10. I havent bought the HPI mag since around issue 37..... just couldnt be bothered - like all motor magazines they go a bit stale, same buildup 1 after the other
  11. Z32 afm all wired up - running a SAFCII. Yes, I do believe you'll need an "aftermarket ecu" such as a piggyback unit, however this *may not be the case and you may be able to use a z32afm with the standard ecu (probably hit R&R tho)..... Im sure more experienced pro's in the forced inductiuon section might be able to shed some further light on this, tho.
  12. Nice work ! .... makes me want to go for a ride Seriously, Abo Bob - take a Suzuki Sv650 for a test drive, Im sure its legal for you, and its a VERY good bike. Ive seen a couple of these bikes (in capable hands) do some amazing things...... very very stable, predictable, good brakes, top engine, decent suspn but a tad-limited there for adjustments. Meh - cant have it all when on a budget ! have fun working it all out...... ps-read keith code: a twist of the wrist :sorcerer:
  13. Dont waste cash on a learners bike; just not worth it. Get a budget 250cc and learn to ride safely, and have fun doing so. A ZZR250 kawazaki would be my suggestion..........and then upgrade once 'ready' to a nice 600/750/900 or dare I say 1ltr&beyond or do a little research on what Exactly size displacement you can have for singles, twins and 4cyls - something like a Suzuki SV650 v-twin might be legal and a good bike to boot. all the best with your new life-journey - its been a VERY fulfilling journey for me edit: sprockets are cheap. normal wear & tear item, go by the wear on the teeth
  14. If the nasty moderator didnt edit it, he'd get in trouble. best to leave talk of "illegal/hoonish activities" out of the stagea section. hence my reason for not expanding on my favourite drives - cant, not here anyway. Now - Id LOVE to chat about the Delemer rd (called Hoeckenheim by the locals, wink wink) and the crazy rides Ive had on that on the bike, but meh, thats not going to happen................. lets just say its on a hilltop going to Victor harbor, left right left right open winding sweepers for over 15kms. Fun fun fun.
  15. And you've done well - well done and cheers for the group buy (Ox and Fumoto)
  16. Yeah definately looks worthwhile............... sort of car you'd buy, with a rebuild/mods planned for 2yrs down the track. Nice IMO.
  17. Take me off the "eatery" list - but Id appreciate a PM of the "cruise" details if at all possible. Cheers, and all have fun. Brendan
  18. well - I guess you can see then that Im not a betting man ! good luck with it. IMO - one suspn place is as good as the next.
  19. Hybrid dual stage EBC
  20. LOL 10 Christine Street, Morphett vale anytime after 6pm the bbq is gassed up, BYO tho,,, LOL (edit: Im ordering a big set of blackies in front of #8 - Im 4wd and dont feel like launhing it off the limiter.... who's feeling generous?)
  21. come along - I wont mind at all!!! mind you my neighbours are winging biatches tho, cops would be called in the first 150seconds. hahahahahah want the address???
  22. so where on earth (in Adelaide) can we go "to get it off the street"???? this is crazy, down south NEEDS a track. Id like to do a 1/4 mile timed run - where can I do it?
  23. LOL heheheheh sorry. The perfect day ALWAYS ends in a bl*wy. lol. Id love to describe some of my rides, the best road is the Bull Creek rd... from Clarendon to the turn off to Strathalbyn / Victor harbor. An amazing road, but I cant put my antics in writing on a forum. Sorry.
  24. hahahahhahahha LOL betting $50 you live near a train line????? or on a serious note, an each way bet on living near a train line, and cheap compliance tyres.
