  2. Stagea rims & tyres - SOLD 17inch rubber - SOLD Still for sale: R33 GTR aftermarket shocks and lowered springs
  3. Well done Waz, glad that turbo is finally been put to good use, hey!! Nice work. Oi; I recommend going the SAFC & SITC route, so you get 2 ecu's, one to do the air/fuel ratio's and the other to do the ignition timing. Im sure you'd pick up a lazy 20-odd kw with those two added, and probably save a few dollars via better fuel economy as well. Either way a nice result, as stated a decent ecu-mod (for the auto) would be the go (I use safc & sitc on my auto Rb25det), although I admit knowing less than nothing about this Dr.Drift you fella's are on about! Brendan
  4. I got my Stagea (registered) from Qld last year, took the obvious stuff off (like boost guage, boost bleed control, turbo timer, etc) on the side of the road prior to going thru Sturt Rd for the engine # inspection, and it wasnt a problem. Pulled over down the road and put it all back on again! If the interstate vehicle is in a high state of tune then there could be problems, if mildly mod'd then just take off what you can prior to having the identity inspection. Dont get reamed into going to Regency tho......
  5. OK - Been offered $450 for the sale of the 4 rims & tyres, including delivery to Sydney. I believe I'll take it unless YOU (ie you the reader of this blurb right now!) offer me a better deal today.

  7. Hi Brad The markings on the inside the rim say 16x7 40 so I 'assume' offset is 40 I paid $96 for TNT Express freight of 17inch R34 GTT rims & tyres from outer sydney suburbs to Adelaide, so I assume from Adelaide to Brisbane would be approx. $120 plus Id need to buy some bubblewrap to wrap 'em securely. So I guess $500 including packaging, handling, and freight, to Brisbane. Pm me....................... Brendan
  8. Contact 8OOSTED here on the forums - he works at Shannons and gives out *awesome* quotes! LOL, well he did for me anyways.
  9. Same stuff from autobarn, 4ply ThermalFlex, instead of $65+ at Autobarn, get it from JustJap via Ebay for around $25 a piece for a 2.5inch 90geree bend. (I got mine thru them off ebay, had it delivered fairly quickly). I have 4 x 2.5inch-2inch reducers if you need some, but they are straight pieces not a 90degree bend.......... Brendan 0427803556
  10. Yeah - I know within myself that for pain to be eased I need to help my blood circulation thru the knees, itd help ease pain-loads and would promote better healing for the regrown right knee cartilage (search MACI), but I do also need to help myself have the patellas properlly realigned. Ie get professional opinions. Having both arthoscoped on 18th May so the fella can form a professional opinion. I'll talk to my Chiro about it; he's a proffessional in his field(s), as mentioned before..... cheers for the ideas matey! Although I highly doubt I'll be heading to Jakarta - got to be here to drive my family around in my sweet-as Stagea LOL
  11. Sounds like its certainly worth a try, for sure. Cheers
  12. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/6081 Buy that one!
  13. Umm, I did so, just for you matey, but they were a bit 'dirty' so had to put them back again. Please dont ask me to do that again - wasnt a very pleasant experience. Sorry.
  14. I know her as well, wasnt going to say anything tho. #5 has great lines, yes.
  15. UMMMM - Peoples, do you all realize that teleportation is just around the corner? ie working tests have been carried out on atoms as such. Cars, as we know them today, will be long gone in good time. There will be phone booths at every corner, dial a number and *bamn* you are there, instant teleportation. What oil is left in the ground when this happens (say within the next 40yrs- ???? hard to predict, could be 20yrs in my eyes) will be used for better purposes then simply burning it and poluting the atmosphere. So NO - I dont believe I'll be buying my kiddies a car; If we are still driving in 15yrs time then they can use my wifes and we'll get her a new one!
  16. lol yah you obviously know your stuff. I couldnt (personally) say that the glucosamine has worked, nor can I say it hasnt, thats why I simply said "jurys out"! I 'feel' that it helped when I had all new cartilage installed, but who can say - proof is in the pudding that the new cartilage 'took' and grew a bit (who can say why without proper scientific methods?) But the everyday ripping and tearing internally of my knee joint(s) at the end of the day simply further erodes what cartilage is left. Nothing can help that, just prolong the ultimate effect I guess. And walking around on knees with no cartilage is NOT FUN. All I can say now is I hate the word "rehab" - done too much of that, with loads more in store for me! Mind you I love doing it, because it means Im being active! And that coming from someone who used to train 5 nights a week and play a few footy games a weekend. Was the fittest player out there, at one stage, but not anymore. Cant even kick the footy now as Im in pain for ages afterwards. Comes back in full circle, to the word MEH. Might get a tatoo on the side of my leg saying just that!
  17. Yah I know matey, thats why I drive off-boost a few kms before I get home (usually, that is!) to give the stnd turbo some chance of cooling down, and if I have been on boost then I'll let the car idle for a short amount of time once in my garage. Guess Im sort of trying to ruin the turbo - want a hiflow! LOL nah in all seriousness, I let it cool down but I dont leave the car running if Im not in it - my Stagea is our family wagon and I dont want my kiddies driving off in my car! Nor do I want to turn into FlameBoy at the local petrol station. The timer thats in my car is a no-name Jap brand, and seems to want to make the car idle for 3mins, just seems dangerous to me, thats all.
  18. yah Wolve, all of the above..... actually I go without the nasiads as much as possible due to your reasoning; Ive had MACI surgery (all new replacement cartilage in my right knee, grown from my old cartilage by Verigen in WA - expensive). As it is surgery wise my right knee owes me 30k, supplements and treatments over the years would be 30k - man my house could almost be paid off right now if I had good knees. I try to take as much pain as I possibly can (make a MAN of me!!) then and only then do I resort to a Tramadol. And a bourbon, and a cone. Or 2. Did my google search for vitamins that are good for arthritis years ago - very expensive hobby to upkeep I might add too. Shark / chicken cartilage doesnt seem to help, grape seed extract is on my list of recomendations, fish oil is a must, jury is out in regards to glucosamine/chondroitin/msm - I now take a LOT of it and cant see benefits, devils claw, zinc, multivitamins, magnesium, etc. Cant take sulphates as Im allergic to it. Swimming, walking, weights, stretches, daily physio....... list goes on. One very down chappy on this side of the keyboard atm. Anyways, thought Id repost up just saying "going to be out of the stagea for a while" - as it is Ive just done my mags and suspension so I cant buy anything atm. Next on the list is auto trans shift kit, larger injectors and a hiflow turbo, but not until I can afford it!! Need 3k methinks. Plus tuning money. Brendan - best of health to you all
  19. Although bass junky - dont disturb alex when Lost is on - thats a nogo zone right there LOL
  20. I cant see how it can magically make my body realign the tendons, bones etc around my kneecap. It aint possible. If reiki is a treatment for arthritis and such, then surely it should be mass-promoted, seeing we are living in an ageing society, and 60% of people suffer from arthritis in some form, at some time in their life. Again, not being rude - very sceptical of those sorts of treatments. Ive spent thousands of dollars as mentioned on alternative therapies, since I was 10 (18yrs worth), and nothing has given me relief. Let alone fixed the problem. I mean, how can a reiki master alter the alignment and the depth of my patella grooves? It just cant be done without TOOLS...... the power of the mind isnt that strong. You cant realign a kneecap just by thinking abouit it, nor can you make new cartilage grow by thinking about it. etc etc. Not flaming you, not at all, if it helped your back then imo it couldnt have been that bad, nothing a chiropractor couoldnt have fixed. In fact my chiropractor is into this sort of thing (he's a master of Everything LOL - spent years in the deepest jungles in China learning from masters, not kidding, such as chinese medicine, acupuncture, iridology, chiropractor, naturapath, etc etc) but the fact is my knees are a lost cause. I simply need total knee replacements, but Im 'too young' for that surgery.
  21. Already in the car. Came that way, with insignias etc. In fact Im meant to be taking a tracing outline of it and sending that to beastien - already outlined the floor mats, just not the rear boot floor mat. Ive sort of been leaving it, as my knees are just so sore and I dont want to kneel down and trace it (got nowhere else to do it unfortunatey, got to get down on my knees, but not looking forward to the consequences - yes my knees are that bad). Maybe you should contact Brendan (beastien) and find out what he was going to do about the cargobay floor mat, seeing he was going to do a group buy for the 5 floor mats. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=96719&hl=floor Cheers, Brendan (tangles)
  22. Ive already got an embroided cargo bay floor mat. hahahaha
  23. Underneath the steering wheel, behind the plastic facia - well out of sight (impossible to be seen); oh, and SWITCHED OFF - switched it off upon delivery of the car, didnt even know it had one until I went to fill up and the car continually ran while I was putting in petrol (just a tad dangerous me thinks). WTF do ppl need a turbo timer for? Wank factor I reckon.
  24. Sorry, not trying to be rude; Im in too much pain these days and it sort of clouds my normal "happy go lucky" nature - probably worth a go in terms of "pain management" - something I'll look into. Acupuncture didnt help nor did Hypnotherapy..... so we'll see. What I should be doing is filling in the swimming pool at home and putting in a big f*k-off heated spa........ to helkp relax these sore legs
  25. Ummm, I hope you're not trying to kid me there, matey. Thanks foe the thoughts and the tip anyways, BUT:- how in hell could reiki heal arthritis, cysts within the patella cartilage, degenerative cartilage, small kneecaps compared to my 2m tall frame, and mis-aligned kneecaps? It cant. Simple. Ive had 7knee surgeries already, so Ive already gone too far down that path - plus Ive spent 10's of thousands on 'alternative' treatments since I was 10yrs old. Its all wank. When you have 'arthritic bone problems' things like spiritual healing 'aint an option, just a pipe dream.
