  1. B*st*rd LOL fair 'enough Nice looking wagon..............
  2. BEST BANG FOR BUCK - Whiteline swaybars simple
  3. LOL I like style 2 myself...... looks the goods matey
  4. eBAY mate! I got it for a few hundred US, plus shipping from Japan (and bought a $200 pipe kit off ebay, cut what I needed to fit; ie 3 x 30degree bends, 3 x 45degree & 3 x 90degree bends, and 4 long straight lenghts as well). all up paid under $500AUS as I fitted it myself, using 4ply silicone hoses and 3 clamps per join (it aint popping off!) it flows just fine with a stnd turbo at 12psi, SITC & SAFC controllers, etc. Good for 160awkw atm, and hope for 200awkw when I do the hiflow turbo/inj etc. search ebay and pick up one in good nick, and give it a total flush with 50/50% kero/metho mix. buy a pipe kit (ie a box of pipes like I did) and fit it your self. Fun fun fun
  5. How about $400 ono??????? Bargain
  6. Pic of cooler1 is mine! Im using it as a front mount for my R33-based Stagea wagon, so itd definately be suitable for either a R32 or R33 Skyline. Works a treat too! Its an Apexi intercooler, called a 'Hybrid' (http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_suction_detail.asp?id=215&pageNum=1)
  7. Hi matey; atm Ive got 160kw at the Four wheels (4wd auto) at 12psi, with a 'conservative' tune; could have had a few more, but Meh. with larger 550cc injectors and a hiflow turbo (hopefully both at the end of this year), and a new dyno retune, Id expect 200-210awkw..... that'd be enough for me. as it is 160awkw is nice, a few more would be nicer, along with the MVauto valve body upgrade to punch thru those gears a bit harder. its all good!!!!! I recommend a Stagea to all Skyline lovers who have a family (yes, my dream car is a R33, but wife and 2 kids means I need a wagon that performs - hell got my bike for solo 'insane' runs!@) Brendan
  8. Yeah, I find my shocks (stnd springs) are stiff when driving at 60kmph (potholes, bumps etc), but at 80 it is very nice, and at 100 it is schweet-as! Overall a top suspn package, and totally worth the $$$$
  9. Its all about throttle control....... =) It is very friendly to ride, but give it a snap with the right hand and just make sure you're 'holding on'.....! Best offer ppls
  10. Nice. Maybe think about machining circlip grooves into the Bilstein shocks - thats what SK had done to the shocks, so you can manually lower the car fairly easily. Works a treat, seeing the Bilsteins have a thick sidewall
  11. Agree. I got my Bosch 040 for $190 delivered (ebay Alex, ebay!), Had it installed as low down as possible, and also had a direct battery feed wired up, so it runs at 13.8V. Perfect fuel pump, more than enough for your needs matey!
  12. OK, nps - got Gary's (Sydneykids) group buy for the Stagea, well most of it anyway. Bilstein front shocks, new Bilstein rear shocks, 3000kms old, Bargain Price Front and Rear adjustable Whiteline swaybars Front castor bush kit Rear subframe alignment bush kit didnt get camber front or rear, as Im not lowering below 360mm (currently 370mm centre from wheels to the arches at all 4 corners), and Im using the standrad springs as I still need comfort for the family - a good comprimise tho. All up that cost around $1250 by memory Fitting cost $250, and paying a little extra to Ryan (see the Mechanic thread) for a quick 5000km service Add in the $650 R34 GTT mags and the $800 tyres, and Ive blown my bank accoutn WAY out of the water - I redrew 2k on my home loan to get a Hiflow turbo, but got this stuff above instead! LOL Tried the car *a little* tonight, geex she boots up hard around the corners now, the suspn is perfect, the Stagea's shouldnt be underrated as they handle very well for such a heavy car (read: wagon) - Im a fan. Brendan
  13. Cheers for that info! hhmm, I looked you up on that stats page, but it came up empty.... Im not sure if itd be reset as such, a bit unfair on the players if thats the case. Last night cracked my 8000points, so got my guns now for the year! It'll take too long to get 20000 points, have no idea how ppl get 300000! brendan
  14. LOL Nytecrawler My car luckily enough came with an expensive Apexi boost guage, so Im all ok, just not a huge fan of the dials thats all. Pretty easy to bump if it was installed in the wrong area (mine is in a little coin box, so alls good, again). But for the $$ well worth it in my opinion. yah, I was sure it was you on BF2! Reckon I had you packing your dacks tho LOL "who are you, how do you know Ive got a skylines, how do you know Im in SA?" see www.bf2s.com for your stats (the game is harder at the start seeing you've got crappy guns, but start owning with the Apache!). Anyways, how do I get that bar on the bottom of the posts (ie, Futurama fan, Big Boob lover, etc, LOL) Brendan (MajorTangles)
  15. and the answer is....? (not for me, I love my auto and will never get a manual again, but for those considering the auto-manual conversion).
  16. LOL Ta mate! Thanks for that advice. I know the globes are all good (besides one in the A/C dash area), and the tyres are 2 weeks old, so thats all good too. I'll ask him to have a quick look at the fluids of the car - cheers. With the toe and camber settings I'll leave that until I have a wheel alignment! Query: is the castrol Edge better than mobile 1? I thought Mobile 1 was premium oil......... I used to use it in my V8 BT1 commodore. Brendan PS Gary - Got to say, Im a fan of the suspension components I bought from you - thank you very much again for all of that. The Bilstein shocks are a touch hard, but nice nonetheless; they have done 30kms now! And Im happy that Im using the standard springs. Heights are 370mm all round, so I might drop 1 circlip at each corner, eventually. The standard shocks were weeping, and basically rooted. Glad I did the group buy.
  17. Another shameless plug for Ryan (again - sorry; bit of a hard luck story......) Hes coming back to finish off my castor bushes and subframe alignment, tommorrow. To do that he has to drop off the arms, take them to his old workplace premises*, punch the bushes out on his 2tonne press, come back and install the stuff, and tighten the suspn stuff he installed on Monday. At the same time, for cost price, hes dropping my oil and replacing with Mobil1 and a genuine nissan oil filter. He can source EVERYTHING for you at a top rate (no overheads). Towards the end of this year I'll get him to supply larger Sard or Nismo injectors for an unbeatable price, and get him to take out and have the turbo hiflowed at either GCG or ATS, then reinstalled (all at home, yay!), again for an unbeatable price. *hard luck story - big rains 6 weeks ago flooded his rented workshop, which in turn put asbestos dust over everything, and the Govt came in and closed the shop down, due to the landlord not complying with the asbestos regulations (from what I understand of the story). Try him out lads, and all the best to you all - Brendan
  18. Hiya's all, after a little bit of info from you'se all! My Stagea is due for a 5000km oil change, etc. Its done just under 5000kms since I bought it, but in that time Ive had a couple of dyno sessions, etc. Id like to drop the oil, change it, and do the oil filter as well. Thats going to happen tomorrow (fri 7/4/6) when my castor bushes are installed and the suspn work retightened 9after the initial 100km rundown). What oil would you all suggest? Im thinking Mobil 1? Also, is the oil filter the same as a standrad R33 one, and if thats the case, does anyone know the genuine Nissan part number? Also, what else should be 'touched' at a basic 5000km oil change? Cheers, Brendan
  19. Or Get Ryan to supply and install maybe - he's a top lad & I attest to his work (Im a fussy bugga). Look at it this way, he comes to you, therefore no overheads for a business premises, therefore cheaper rates. Best of luck.
  20. Same, except I paid $260.. doh. Does work well, and I can attest to the fact that it doenst 'boost spike' (well mine doesnt anyway, at its current lo 10psi / hi 12psi settings) Good value for money, but I wish I bought a digital unit, and not this one as it uses 2 dials to changes the boost - need an accurate boost guage to be sure of your settings.
  21. ok - buy the stuff you want fitted over the net (ie ebay, or www-based traders). then call Ryan on 0401727440 and he'll fit it up for you that process would save you hundred$ of dollar$ or call that lad Ryan and see what he could supply for your car (brand name items). Best of luck with it - Brendan
  22. Yeah fair enough; I think that Id make myself unavailable as well - got 17's with 1week old tyres on, and brand new suspension setup, which Im very unfamiliar with at this stage (done 5kms on them so far)..... The car feels like a little slot-car racer now, so I really need to get used to the new feel of the Stagea; the shocks seem quite firm, and the swaybars/bushes have really tightened up the chassis, meaning that it feels SO completely different to me atm. Weird as! With rain forecast, Id be definately wearing brown undies, so I might just sip bourbon at home this friday! Brendan
  23. LOL to this thread; simple answers so here we go: Pro's - got the Bilstein / Whiteline suspension kit from him, in 2 purchases, over the past 3 weeks; on my 2nd purchase he sorted out an awesome deal etc for the shocks, so I ended up with $1800 (retail) worth of goodies for $1200, & received delivery within 2-3 business days from the date of my payment. I believe Gary posted stuff to me before my payment had cleared in his bank account! A top trader for sure. Con's - Im sure he doesnt know everything, but hell, how would WE mere mortals know, seeing WE know jack-sh*t compared to Gary! Im just waiting for his RB Skyline book to come out! Hope that helps, at the end of the day Sydneykid is the fella you want in your corner supporting you, so if you can get products from him, then DO IT. Tangles.
