That is true.... I transported my Stagea from Brisbane to Adelaide via Adtrans; could definately NOT have anything in the car.

Personally I have no idea - all I know is as the seller of the turbo, a) it is in very good condition, and was inspected by Bill at Adelaide Turbo Services, and b) I got reamed by SAU member Hooman who I bought this off from as a "R34 Neo turbo" and paid $650 for it. Brendan

Best location for views would be top of Ashbourne road, there is a lookout there that looks onto Lake Alexandrina..... Ashbourne rd goes between Strathalbyn and the little township of Ashbourne - that is on the Bull Creek Road. Great for sunrise or sunset...... beautiful location, Ive pulled over there many times when riding the bike for a break and a look-see.

I used mine when pissed one night - problem was the police chopper was going overhead!! LOL As far as the "Dodgy-Brothers" home mechanics go, Im the deal! Dodgy to the max, see my posts/photos in the Stagea discussion, titled Stagea Intercooler Thread. Dodgy as, but does the job pretty damn well.

Tyres alone cost $125 each for 4 last August, done less than 4000kms on them since then. Bargain - look awesome on a 'Line.

Umm, yeah, thatd be right They are most efficient above 1Bar (arnt they???) But Im sure once the ECU is done and dyno'd then you'd find it to be Perrrfect, with what, 200awkw?

Why is that Ian? I never use Shell (only like 96ron here in Adelaide for premium unleaded), and generally fill up with Mobile 8000 (98ron) rather than BP Ultimate (98ron). I find the mobile to be absolutely fine, and my car is tuned for that fuel..........

Go to Sitters (?) on Franklin Street right next door to old Balfours complex / opposite the Marksman range. They quoted me $400 to fix a big crack in my rear bar and repaint........ paint is a two-colour silky white pearl as well. havent bothered fixing it up at this stage. They did a repair to my dads Patrol & it is a 100% perfect job........

For Sale is a plastic intake wheel NISSAN SKYLINE R33 GTST SERIES 2 TYPE M RB25DET Twin Ball Bearing Turbocharger. I bought this turbo for $650 after being told it was a R34 Neo turbo, but it clearly isn’t, so I got juped (thanks a lot to sau member Hooman). Im now asking for $500 or best offer in return, Plus postage. But everything is negotiable! It is packaged in box ready to go. Im in Adelaide but can send anywhere in Australia. Best offer peoples! I wont be using this turbo; I bought it as a "R34 Neo" turbo which I was going to hiflow, but now Ive decided that as this isnt a R34 model then I will just hiflow my standard turbocharger that is on my Stagea – Id hate to have the internals of this turbo gutted out when hiflowed at GCG, when someone could put it to better use. It has zero-0.5% shaft play at the max and only has been used for under 40000kms, with the exemplary turbo condition suggesting it has been kept at stock boost for much of the time. Here is some info I have found out about this turbo: This turbocharger is apparently the quickest spooling turbocharger in the entire RB engine series. It is the PLASTIC Intake Wheel model, which is apparently rare! Light intake wheel + Twin ball bearing + Light ceramic turbine wheel = a quick spool Can be boosted up to 13psi whish would put out pp to around 320HP? This turbo uses both the super-light ceramic exhaust wheel (lighter than titanium), twin ceramic ball bearings internally, and the super-light plastic “reinforced” intake wheel. After further research I have found that it should be used for around 12-13psi range. Good power range from low 2000 rpm and up (say ~2200rpm) Would be awesome on a Rb20det! Or would go great on a lightly mod’d RB25det. Cheers, Brendan - PM me

About to gat a set of 4 tyres, 235/45/17 for a budget of exactly $200 per corner. Probably going to go the Hankook 104's for that price.... but what else compares to the 104's in regards to wet weather grip & matching price? Cheers! :sorcerer:

No probs - thought Id offer, thats all. More than welcome to try one out for size/looks if you (or anyone else) so wish. I know they'd fit aok as they are exactly the same size as standard Skyline wheels, and would look the goods, and with 95% of the tread they are a bit of a bargain...... For sale One set of 4 x 16 inch x 7 inch Stagea rims with Nankang 225/50/16 tyres, the tyres are less than say 13% worn. The 4 rims are in A grade condition, previous owner(s) have put a couple of small marks on them but normal for the age. Actually, upon further inspection (24/3/06) the insides are mark-free, showing they have NEVER taken a hit, and have had 1 small scrape one 2 wheels upon parking (one wasnt worth taking a picture of, truely). Really are in ExCeLeNt condition Selling because Ive put some 17inch R34 GTT rims on, with Hankook K104 235/45/17 tyres on. $500 OR BEST OFFER. Brendan (PM me) edit: pics added
