  1. I think thats right - I was guessing.. pink/orange, just a matter of interpretation really (plus I'll just say I was clourblinded the last time I looked at it - must have been the wife mucking around again)
  2. LOL, what, like the 'masterb***ing' cat thread in the wasteland???
  3. Would a rebuilt garrett GT35 be too laggy for a RB25det engined automatic Stagea?
  4. Hi Brett, Can you send me some photographs of the turbo in question? And any extra info you have on this turbo, ie who rebuilt it, etc etc. Cheers, brendan
  5. LOL 6ft8inches tall champ, and lift heavy weights Yes, I destroy door frames with my rock-solid nogg'n. When I pump my chest my shirt explodes in flames I pop cans of coke just by grabbing it lightly out from the fridge & I make the fella in your avatar look like a piss-weakling wimpo etc etc In all seriousness, I was fully cut-up at 118kgs, but 7 knee surgeries have slowed me down a little, so yes, 10kgs will be going over winter.
  6. By gods; seeing that footage I realized how much I lust for a Rb26 R34. Wow, stuff the Autech RS260 GTR Stagea I ws thinking about, we've got a Stagea Rb25det already, but geez how nice would a R34 GTR be??
  7. In my limited experience, when I popped the intercooler hoses off (shit silicone rubber & clamps; now replaced) the car simply stalled, and was a real shit to start to just get off onto the side of the road. Was very 'fluffy' when running. If the car felt 'fluffy' then yes itd be a 'cooler leak of some kind, but if the engine felt normal but just didnt have any boost, then Id be spending the first 10mins looking inside the cat-converter for some ceramic bitsnpieces. Tangles
  8. Easy - drop out the cat-converter & check it to see if some bits of the exhaust wheel from the turbo are in there...... take you 15mins at the most.
  9. The colours are different.... Z32 is 'pink' and Rb25 is 'green', if theyve defected ppl before, then they'll know what they are looking for. But it aint just the afm, its all the ecu add-ons etc Ive got that are pretty easy to spot, so if I ever need to go to Regency I might as well hoard my spares. Not all oinkers are dumbarses.
  10. LOL Try Shannons, pay by month option.
  11. Will do maxx - got to wait until I get the rims tho, hopefully by end of the week. Will PM you.
  12. FUNNY - how so may I ask?? LOL Just a point, I ran Pilot Sport for $220 (rear wheel, 17inch) on my Fireblade, and now run Pilot Power ($280). The Power is far superior to the Sport, and the Sport is a model that is around 3yrs old in the motorcycle industry... so maybe the Sport in car tyres is the older model, with Primecy being the latest model?
  13. Stagea Suspension - Group Buy http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85592
  14. Ive got a Black Widow 10000 car alarm, its all black wired and 100% insurance approved throughout Australia. Got it for under $160 off ebay brand new (ebay rocks!), and had it installed when the car was at Graham West Workshops. GWW wernt the installers, they got someone in to do it, but at a great price tho. Call Brett West to find out who they recommend & use! All sorts of stupid options, fact is Ive only got it set up to stop a thief breaking in, and to immobolise the engine. Didnt see how I needed window guards, remote start, etc etc, all wired up as it costs too much!
  15. Moderator can delete if they like, yes this is a repost, going back to satrd of December 2005 there was a thread titled Rim Repairs: "Adelaide wheel and rim & Extensive wheels. Both are on sth rd just sth of sir donald bradman dr,both close together on opp sides of the road, make sure u get quotes first- there will be a difference!" "I had mine done at extensive and they fixed up some minor guttering and scratches and now look like new. About $150 a rim i think, I recommend their work for sure." "yeah had mine done at adelaide wheel and rim when i hit a gutter and bent the inside edge. the guys from extensive said it was beyond repair so took it across the road and got it re-rolled for $120. did a great job too. it was a small price to pay compared to getting another volk.?" "i used to get a lot of rims reparied when i raced speedway adelaide wheel and rim ripped my off bigtime and the guy across the road at EXPENSIVE not EXTENSIVE was just as bad found a guy at brompton called miracorp was cheaps as chips did a great job dont know if he is still around tho"
  16. Cheers, yeah I thought so, did a quick search (here at work, I shouldnt be on the forums atm!) and didnt come up with the details. Sorry to ppls if this is a 'repost topic' as such. Ive also heard on the grapevine that Bridgestone at Oaklands park is pretty good..... will have to chase that up and grab some quotes. I can post a pic of the rim in question, and the quotes that I received, to help out others in the future. Tangles (all-tangled-up)
  17. smart......
  18. YES yes she is. Add in fuel, fluids, and me at 130kgs Yes, a fat bastard indeed. But she still picks up her skirts & skedaddles with the right RB* mods!
  19. 1650 I believe.....
  20. Well then, stay with the jap and grab an *awesome* Nissan RS4 or RS260 Stagea. What a terrific car; I plan to be a Stagea owner for the long term. Fact is they are rare, and likely to stay that way, but yet offer the RB power & Attessa handling.
  21. Good points (dont know about the 'rice' factor tho - each to their own!) Plus add-in the fact they are illegal in SA (unless your vehicle weighs over 5T I think). Mine was disconnected after the first week - I was embarrassed to fill up with the car still running (weird & dangerous), and couldnt stand listening to my car run for 5mins after Id gotten home, changed, had a bourbon & smoke, and then sat down to watch the news (with the damn car still running!@)
  22. StayyGeeA with a gee-whiz sort of G, and a solid A or The Stag
  23. Hiyas all, just got me a set of R34 GTT rims from SAU-member Satanic. I havent received these rims as yet, but I know 1 rim only will need a repair to a gutter mark / scratch. Who would you recommend to repair & make good to a genuine Nissan mag wheel? I live south if thats any help for ppl's suggestions. Tangles
  24. What do you fellas with Turbo Timers do when you're at a petrol station, refilling? ie, with the turbo timer on, and the car running...... Im not that comfortable with the idea, and switched mine off. I would have thought it'd be very dangerous to be filling up your petrol tank with the car still running.
  25. ROFL 'sif a cop would ever pull over a 'Volvo' wagon! by gods I hope not!
