FunkyMonkey - can you email me details of RS260 Autechs? Im intrested in buying one in maybe 12months time, so am in the information gathering mode atm. Dunno if Im just taking the piss or not, but if I sell my bike (& I am) then I need a full-on performance machine, although I could end up going the '95 R33 GTR route for under 30k.

No, I reckon RING AGAIN, and simply ask for your nearest inspection site. Simple. They WANT you to go to Regency, but there are other inspection sites (ie Sturt Rd, next to cop shop, Tues & Thur only s 9-3pm). There would be one in the country, surely.

Yeah - all my gear is available to borrow as well, I dont need to sell my standard stuff (just in case). For ex, my AFM is currently out on loan.

What can ppl tell me about the RS260 Stagea?

Ive got an R33 airbox with hiflow panel airfilter, not fitted to my Stagea atm, but thats all. Sorry 2 hear about the troubles.

YEAH very true AlexCim.... $7k of more mods (once bike is sold - Im CONVERTED!!) would be just nice. That way would handle well, stop OK, and go faily alright with a GT30-internal hiflow from ATS. But I reckon owning 2 Stagea's would be the bees-knees. One GTST based and one GTR based.

I'll see if they are any good. Hhhmmm, maybe I'll be ok with $3k on a hiflow, injectors & retune, $3k for full suspn package & some front rotors, and $1k for 17inch rims & tyres... and do without a Autech for a little while. YEAH, bugger it, want 200-220awkw, with handling & braking to match. Bike is going to have to go! $12grand for sale, with 7k going onto the Stagea OR sell wifes car & bike for $12k each and borrow another 25k against the house for an Autech GTR Stagea, with no more mods happening to my current Series 1.

hahaha, actually, the big fella was my 'Daddy', Im the little (big?) 2.5yr old who was with him, I love my (daddy's) Stagea and MY rear sunroof! here are some photos daddy got on his stupid little phone...

Id make it a 3 seater as such, extend the seat rails & put in the smallest sized 'legal' steering wheel possible. Id fit that way, and if the knee ever gets too sore Ive got the Auto Stagea sitting in the garage - that'd be the main family car, and the Autech would see maybe 5000kms a year. My right knee has had 6 surgeries (3 MAJOR) and the left knee has had 1 cleanout so far (due for another).... so I could possibly get away with it. Yeah, itd hurt the legs now & then, Terminal, but hell after seeing like 6 or more GTRs in opperation, well, I wanna Stagea version of one now, LOL, even sacrificing my ultimate pleasure of bike riding to do so. Aim: within 2yrs maybe?

Hiys, had a SAU Sth Australia cruise yesterday (Sunday 19th), I was the sole Stagea out of maybe 30+ Skylines. Nice. See the SA section, sticked thread title Feb Cruise, pages 17 onwards for photos; I left a tad too early so was only in the 1st lot of photos down by the Victor Harbor foreshore. Nice to have a Stagea there in the pack tho heading down to Victor from Adelaide, overtaking Porche's & all that! Seriously considering a Autech 'GTR' Stagea now tho! Sell the bike & wifes car & inport another Stagea (2 for the family), lol.

I had a deerfarm at Yank, so know the roads thru there very well - did you all go via Delamere Rd into Normanville? If so would have been very fast!! ie left-right-left-right, all xxx+ speeds. Damn, pissed now that I left the Vct harbor beach front carpark at 3.50 & headed home. Dang! Madaz if Id known you were headed to the Pt Noarlunga 'Castle Park' I would have stayed for longer. Sorry all, missed out on those GREAT roads (yes they are bumpy, but that is half the fun, ie speed, bumps, off camber.... I ride them a LOT on my bike), and pissed at myself for not staying for more photos & small-talk. Hey, everyone took off & left pretty quick from the foreshore, one minute Im showing Coen the 'superfast race cars', ppl start heading and after putting Coen in the baby seat everyones, like, GONE!! hahaha. Nah, wife was cranky (Teary when I got home, depression maybe after having our 2nd baby 7 weeks ago?), so I had to be home for 5pm, with chinese food! lol I'll be in it next Sthn cruise for sure - I know a lot of good roads thru there if you wanna tap into my 'road-racing bike experience' mmwwwhahahahahahahaha! Oi, ppls, dont dish me on that comment, Im serious, Ive done thousands of highspeed kms thru those areas. Brendan - big tall dude with little man in the 'Skyline wagon' (want a Autech GTR Stagea now as my car with the current stagea going to my wife, seriously!)

Already talked to the wife about selling the Fireblade (fully worked, see below) & her newish 12000km Daewoo Nubira (full leather & extras pack) for $12000 each. Borrow andother $20k and grab a RS260 'GTR' Stagea.... for sure. Id suggest hopefully within the next year; 2 at the most. :lol:

Awesome horn - love it. It goes *beep* Fact is I drive so that I dont need to use a horn. Corny but true, might have used a car horn maybe a dozen times in my life - or less? Probably less. (never been anywhere close to having a crash!)
