  1. good luck with that. I stayed with a bad-paying job for a dozen years (family business) while those around me grew rich; plan was to take over the running of the small building company (sales had to be 240k per month to break even, so not exactly a small business in that sense). I did in fact enjoy what I did, even knocked back offers of over double my wage to move to Sydney to a similar position in business management & administration due to a sense of loyalty. My Patellas had to be removed, and being 2m tall the no-knee factor took a large toll on my health (mental & physical wellbeing); eventually lost my position (lost my way in life a bit) as physically couldnt backup my efforts day after day after day without some form of rest/recovery/rehabilitation. Govt. put me onto disability pension, wife wouldnt find work & blamed me for the financial stress we found ourselves in (Id suported her entirely throughout my working career), marriage broke down, have had to sell the house to 'settle' proceedings, have no money until settlement towards years end (and a dead stagea engine that somehow needs a cash injection for a rebuild - engine is out at the moment & head comes off this week to start fixing the bores, etc)......... The overall stress isnt worth it. If you think you are worth more than what you currently earn then you REALLY should work towards finding a more accomodating job. Dont be like me and stay loyal, looking towards a greater goal in the future, as life can change in a snap & spit you out at the bottom. My advice is move on with your employment, work hard for your new employer, and be rewarded for your efforts.
  2. c'ya Ryan, take care mate sent PM wishing you well
  3. mate you are sick in the head. edit: now I did say "think about others for a change", and made the example of someone reading your thread here (to help you with advice) at work and then potentially getting in trouble due to the nature of your hand-drawn porn-pic. that sort of crap isnt warrented, and has no place here on SAU. my kids are too young to understand your avatar picture, in sexual terms, but not young enough to understand what the picture was about. now my eldest is going on about sticking his willy in "things". IMHO my report of this post - based on your avatar pic - is the right thing to do. sorry if that offends you; just trying to get you to see outside your box.
  4. Id personally do the extra 3 months and while doing that, Id be changing your avatar picture..... thats pretty f**ked up IMHO. Think about others for a change when they read your thread you get an eyeful of some shithouse porno drawing of a bloke rooting a tailpipe......... how the hell do I tell my kids what the pic was about? What about if someone reads your thread at work during lunch break, boss walks past sees your sick exhaustpipe-sex drawing and gets a warning/fired? You sir should be given a few days off from SAU until you a) change your avatar pic, and b) realize its a pretty stupid thing to do. edit: my (young) children are now going on about your porno-avatar drawing. Ive submitted a report. mate, thats disgraceful.
  5. I feel Webber loses races on his own - due to his poor starts. He just cant seem to start the RBR fassssst off the line, always seems to bog down & lose position(s). Hopefully the team orders saga gets Webber thinking about moving on. Id LOVE to see MW taking Massas seat at Ferrari....
  6. Need to sell the folowing parts, all parts cost me a lot more than what I am selling for, need cash however I can get it to help pay for engine rebuild: mid-pipe, 3" inch, flex pipe section - to be used instead of your cat-converter $50 pickup, brand new 3" inch entry/exit, twin barrel resonator muffler system $50 pickup, brand new (does NOT include oil pump nor harmonic balancer) R32 GTR two-into-one front pipe, R32 GTR turbo dump pipes, R32 GTR twin turbo manifolds $80 pickp for the exhaust parts, in excellent condition. Jason Ezyboy recliner chair To suit granny or children; not full sized! In excellent condition, need it gone before I move house shortly $40 bargain!!! Pickup from Morphett Vale 5162; all items must go!
  7. cjet; I think it was carbon from exhaust pipe, must have got low and close to the redbull checking out the system.... murray walker sounded Old and sick. hoping Webber runs 1st from start to finish!
  8. I was going to say rich and retard..... or stock coilpack suffering blowout of spark. easy fix is to drop the boost a little bit and retest (use a simple turbotech bleed valve, such as this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbotech-manual-turbo-boost-controller-ORIGINAL-/220630394267?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item335e98a59b ) for stock coilpacks, take them out give them a clean, get selleys 401 high-temp industrial strength silicone sealant and cover the coilpacks with it, especially around the seams; stops wasted spark. tried and tested method. the sealant costs around $12 from bunnings, use a corking gun ($5 bunnings) to spread it over the coilpacks. let it dry, refit with new copper spark plugs ($20 for 6 - NGK BCPRE6 0.8mm copper v-groove spark plugs) It wont be a cracked manifold, that sounds more like a tractor, you'll know it if it ever happens!! best of luck.
  9. I bars the "jaffa" icecream tub! love that stuff!!!!
  10. fknoath mate, definately if you burn the snags!!!! its beyond a joke now.
  11. exactly. got no problem useing loading zones in adelaide cbd with my stagea for that exact reason, to off-or-on load product. Ive also got disabiity parking permit and use that when I must........... FYI Im on disability pension.
  12. hence why we in Adelaide clearly require a drag strip; somewhere to take it off the street. Hoon behaviour my arse...
  13. I'm using the hks-copy hardpipe intake kit you can get off eBay USA for around $270usd. My mechanic spent a number of hours fitting it, had to modify a bit so its not a TRUE Bolton kit, cost me a few hundred in his time to modify to fit correctly. Pretty happy with how it has turned out, and doesn't invoke turbo shuffle at this stage (n1 turbo rebuild kit, running-in tune). For an rb25 I guess the silicone intake would be ok (my rb25 has the metal intake kit from performance wise sau trader) but I wouldn't want to personally use the silicone intake on rb26 engines, but that's my opinion.
  14. In that case a simple kill switch to stop the fuel pump priming would be the better investment.
  15. mate, thats exactly what the Stagea is for.... family wagon on the sporty side
  16. thanks for the video almost 'underwhelming' in the way it makes peak power. guess thats testimate to an overall very good build-up!
  17. I can confirm these 350z 324mm rotors (with dogbone caliper adapter) fits the S1 without many issues http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=882&Car_Type=300&UID=20110706225202121.45.157.163 a bit 'dodgy brothers' in the sense the dogbone is bolted on and caliper bolted onto the dogbone, but Boy do they work well. tested at the track and stood up well to the braking pressures applied..... cut a few seconds of my previous best time as well.
  18. good luck with the sale Lee (hows the family going mate?) really must move these on. imported them myself, but pretty much decided not to spend any more coin on the track car. (that means no to me having them painted/fitted) 1x pair fibreglass oversize front fenders (front quarter panels), to suit R32. Unpainted, as per pics. Brand new, $200 pickup Morphett Vale edit: to sweeten the deal I can throw in 1x pair carbon fibre headlight 'eyelid' covers..... or sell seperate for $100 the pair
  19. Pirelli pzero semi slick tyres are my suggestion. A TRUE semislick tyrr with treadwear rating of 80, compared to ku36 wear rate of 180. Excellent grip levels and don't seem to wear abnormally fast.
  20. yeah I used to hit up the hills in the rain on my bikes all the time, love it; sharpens your skills IMO. hadnt driven the r32 rb26 since I picked it up after the rebuild a cple months ago - been fiddling with bonnet mounts etc for the blitz fpr bonnet (still not happy with fitment, but its nice & secure and wont be smashing over the roof, not like the original bonnet did Lol). damned sore knee (left) now though from the gears, got to say the Bride brix chair is pretty uncomfy. Should be pretty impressive once tuned correctly, power comes on strong, handling is precise, and the brakes work a treat. Going to get a few hundred kms onto the engine then have the tune finished off, ready for mallala track days.
  21. took the rb26 out into the hills for a 100km run-in session. very wet and slippery, but great fun! apexi power meter shows 300hp in 4th at 5000rpm.
  22. awesome. looking forward to seeing that video. cheers from the SAU community, Im sure.
  23. dry it out for a day and see if it happens next time you run the car? it should be impossible for road-water to get to the footwell, usual suspect is the heatercore
  24. Can you take a vid of the Beast on your dyno? Im sure all who've seen this thread would LOVE to see/hear it spinning up...... 450awkw @18psi is a nice result for run-in tune. What awkw figures at what boost are you hoping for?
  25. sure its not a leaking heater core, situated inside the dash? when they let go the coolant leaks onto the passenger footwell.
