yeah, mines sitting on the shelf at home, a really good condition one with like no rust or anything, real low kms unit, no shaft play at all. paid $600 presumming it was as advertised an a Neo turbo. biatch, I got rolled over and xxx. not sure if I go GCG or local ATS (GT30 internals)..... thinking local as my tuner swears by the ATS work quality.

Good advice SK. I got done for 144 in a 100 zone as a P plater (down Willunga Hill rd in SA), just cruising in neutral in my VW Type 3 wagon. Stalled for 18months, so got to keep the license for that much longer, pleaded with judge that I needed the car to get to work, lived in the Hills with no other transport (no buses trains etc). Judge was lenient with me, was on Ps for an extra 12months from the date of judgement. Dress well, speak impecibly and be very polite. Plead your case, and appeal if you need to.

HHMMMM, crazy me, thinking of selling some shares (dogs) that will break even after tax and costs, to get a hiflow done on the turbo I bought (was meant to be a R34 neo - thanks a f'n lot Hooman you liar). So, I would love to know your thoughts on the feel of the Stagea once the GCG hiflow is installed.

Nice answers! Love that about the 2year olds and the sunroof - SAME HERE! Coen loves 'HIS' sunroof and waves to ppl thru it. Keep at it mums/dads - what do your kiddies think of the Stagea? How about the dogs, do they get pissed at being in the bacl with non-opening windows? Got telstra 1500/512 at home and at work, too expensive for what it is. But locked into a contract When Im free of that I'll be going adsl2, for half the price.

Very quickly, just a topic for Stag owners in regards to your family. Why did you buy a Stagea? Was it for something different? Or due to having a growing family? If so, how many kids have ya got, how old are they, and what do the kids think of the wagon? To start off: Ive got a wife, 2 kids and a dog, so needed a wagon for the space. Eldest kiddie is 2.75yrs old, and loves HIS rear sunroof. Youngest is 5.5weeks old and cant control his emotions as yet, so he hasnt commented on the car, nor has he left his mark, ie a little surprise (well, not yet anyways, although Im sure a barf or an accident in the pants aint too far away!). Have YOU got kids.................?

WOW - all up sounds like a 1 in a 1000 baby! so well behaved, very very lucky! Ours cries lots, always awake, always wants to be picked up, etc etc. BUT - 5 weeks old now and laughing, gurgling at us, etc, looking to communicate. Great fun. Congrats again

My mate works ar Protec paints, so I ended up getting a freebie... lol, enough paint for my Stagea for a complete respray, all for being a nice little boy.

Sounds similar to a problem I had when the stereo was installed - has anyone been near your wiring loom laterly? My stereo installers put a CD player under the passengers seat, and drilled thru a heap of wires, ended up losing my 4wd and abs. Needed an auto-electrician to find & fix the fault. Which is why Id grab a R33 based GTR, ie a 1997 Nissan Stagea RS260 GTR based wagon. But I keep forgetting that manuals exist - being 6ft8in tall and with 7 knee surgeries, manuals arnt for me.

Id rather buy a 20k R32 GTR and have 12k put aside for mods such as suspn, exhaust, computer & boost, and turbo / engine rebuild. Thats in lieu of buying a 32k GTR and not modifying it. Rebuilding is fun (expensive tho if you dont have contacts), and makes the modified journey that much more of an experience. just my opinion, not that Id ever get a GTR tho, maybe a Stagea 260rs LOL - Brendan
