  1. Yup, the AWD of my Stagea kicks the arse of my VR SS V8 Commodore. Thats with both cars being roughly the same power and weight...... Total confidence with the AWD of the Stagea, whereas with the RWD of the VR SS you're just waiting for it to 'bite back'. Go the Stags!!!! Brenda
  2. Grab a secondhand Fireblade / R1 / GSX1000R / ZX10R and never look back! What Im saying is, maybe look into the 'weight' of the car, ie power to weight ratio. Bring the weight down and the usefullness of the power goes up........ Brendan
  3. sorry, havent found 'time' to look for other reviews......
  4. Cages are dangerous, ie if you or a child is in the boot and the door closes...... a child could die, due to the heat buildup in our Aussie summer. Make sure you get an 'approved' safety cage if thats the way you want to go. I think forum member GTR Familia was selling cargo barriers at one stage?
  5. Let me know if you want to have a peek at my Stagea.... the offer stands mate. Meant to be showing it to another forum member soon, who is looking for a Stagea as well. Im in Morphett Vale, and work in the city, although I dont drive it into work every day. Brendan
  6. Item: R34 GT-T Intercooler, standard Location: Adelaide, South Australia Item Condition: Excellent, used Reason for Selling: Upgraded to Apexi front mount intercooler Price and Payment Conditions: $230 excluding postage Extra Info: Comes with the 'rare' plastic intake shroud Contact Details: PM me, 0427 803 556, or [email protected] Will post anywhere in Australia, buyer to pay postage costs. Maybe TNT Express is the way to go, or Australia Post registered? (that way you get a consignment number and tracking facilities) Comes fully flushed & fin-picked only around 1500kms ago, so it is in excellent condition and order. Great for up to 200rwkw - see 'R34 Intercooler' thread in the Stagea section. Brendan
  7. $400 is a fair price..... I paid for one only 3 months ago, YES OFF EBAY!, for right on that mark including postage, received it within a couple of days, exactly as per your model, brand new in box in perfect working order. Nothing wrong with ebay, just like the forums here you've gotta trust the person you're dealing with! Good luck with the sale, $400 is a good price, so a BUMP for you! =) Brendan
  8. Would love to go out there and meet Gary (SK), ply him with bourbon and chat Stageas with him! (burb's & stags = lots in common!!) But there's always bloody too much on, on the weekends! Brendan
  9. Im sure thats the case.... 1 x green, 1 x red, 3 x silver, and my silky snow pearl RS Four-V the red, one silver and the white one live down south.
  10. Great info ppl's! Never knew I had a RS Four-V...... got all the standard features and all the Optional Extras. Plus I got the rust by the mirrors on both front doors, but none elsewhere from what I can tell.
  11. No, they are good thoughts.... Im happy with the power increase Ive got from my larger intercooler, and thats before tuning. With the full exhaust it'll turn out quiet well. My cat-back system is from japan and is super quiet too, so therefore doesnt pick up as much power as possible, but its a family car and not a race car, so thats all ok by me. But its also rusting a fair bit, so will look at getting a SS catback in the future. Its the hiflow turbo that will push me to the 200kw mark....., so for me a quiet exhaust is a good exhaust. I'll keep the Fujitsubo in mind.
  12. AC - has the split dump made a healthy power difference?
  13. So you are going to sell it now? How about that nasty tax man.....? Oh, and those rims....
  14. Ahh, thats the name I was looking for. Brazen's car looks REAL nice. Good price ready to sell as well. If you wanted to keep it under 20k, grab a clean condition S1 from QLD and spend a few grand on tuning mods to get the ball rolling..... If you want to look at a Stagea in Adelaide before buying one PM me. Good luck! Brendan
  15. MAXX.... Ive got a 1997 Stagea wagon, based on the 1997 series 2 R33. Im here in Adelaide. Ive noticed a few ppl with Stagea's have enquired about the CAI. These CAI's look wicked.... so, my quesry is, would you consider making up the CAI box to suit Stagea's? You could use my car to make the template up if you wish. Brendan
  16. You want a 'baby seat link'? How about selling the Skyline and grabbing a Stagea? Brendan
  17. No, these are on the Compliance plate scheme, as such. Around $3500 - $4k for the compliancing of the vehicle, depending on what company you get to do the compliance for you, such as Nismo etc. I thought they were only done in Perth and Brisbane, but I might be wrong.
  18. Depends on your budget..... have you checked the for sale thread? There's a beautiful yellow S2 in Perth for under 25k for sale by a member here on the forums..... unless its sold? Series 1 - around 20k at car yards, or 18k private Series 2 - add 5k Definately do it, I think there are around 6-7 Stagea's here in Adelaide. I went to Qld in July to buy one and brought it back to live in my garage. And how's this, I think I may have found out that one of the 3 silver Stagea's in Adelaide lives around 200m down the road from me!!!! Whats the coincedence of that? Good luck with it mate. Brendan
  19. he probably dragged an auto 4wd gts non turbo (big drivetrain losses). as for the NX? Ha! absolute dreamer.......
  20. Nissan WGCN34 Stagea's are pretty cheap now!!!! Landed and complied for anything above 12k, dependant on condition obviously. Huge potential, being skyline based as such..............
  21. Looks great! Id buy a set...............
  22. Hhmm. Pricey. Add on a Neo turbocharger, a Neo tortiseshell engine cover, the tiptronic gearshift / manual conversion, etc etc... Best to buy a straight Series 2!!!! Brendan
  23. If 16,000 SAU members donate $5.00 to me, I'll buy it!!
  24. What other hiflow shops are out there???? GCG, ATS, ??? Anyone got information on other options?
