  1. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-SKYDOOR-vertica...1QQcmdZViewItem Lamborgini style door kit. Ive seen it on a R33 coupe and it looked wicked!!
  2. The seller is on ebay, known as "Roguepi" located in Sydney.... I thought it was an intresting price at $1699 plus delivery, brand new, and there are 4 different spec options at that price. But wondering if I'd be better off rebuilding my 'spare' series 2 R33 turbo upto GT30 spec for an extra $400. (Spare as in I got jipped by a forum member stating that it was a R34 Neo turbo - bugga, big bugga!) Brendan
  3. Hiya all, Got a Stagea RB25DET with Attessa 4wd system. Currently got 141kw at the 4 wheels, currently upgrading intercooler, entire fuel system, and afm at the moment. Im after around 200kw at the 4wheels. Opinions on GT30 turbos for the RB25... which would be best, for a heavy wagon which is used for the family car, as such. Either a full rebuild of my standard R33 series 2 turbo, with full GT30 internals, from ATS for $2100 in liue of the GCG rebuild, or the GT3071R as per spec below...... Opinions? Thanks heaps ppl's, Brendan (ps - this turbos are on ebay for $1700aus) GT3071R (84T) with internal wastegate 430-450 hp Turbine: -56.5mm w/ 84 trim Housing: -0.64 or 0.86 a/r (GT28 inlet and outlet flange) -Internally Wastegated (No Actuator) -T3 5 bolt discharge 0.63 and 0.82 A/r available shortly Email us for ETA Compressor: -Wheel: 71mm w/ 56 trim (GT30) Housing: -.50 a/r TO4E -Inlet: 2.75"
  4. I think Prank might have been saying "$600 GTSt (car)?" Hell mate, I'll buy the 'car' for $600!!
  5. If you can put them in strong boxes for total of $950 Id be intrested..... Id pay for TNT to pick them up and send them to me in Adelaide. Edit: Ive got a Stagea wagon based on a series 2 R33.... would they be all ok on that type of (heavy) vehicle? Brendan
  6. Here is an article on a fuel saving idea, Id suggest every car will have one in say 5yrs time: Enjoy the read!! Brendan FuelDocument.doc
  7. Ive been done once in the past 5 years, and only ever once on the motorbike around 7yrs ago. Comes down to luck sometimes.................... and picking your spot. For example, 99% of the time I refuse to speed in the metropolitan areas, wheras Im 'going fast' 99% of the time on the bike in the hills on open 'unused' country B-grade roads. Brendan
  8. Cool, Ive scanned it onto my home PC so I'll get it posted here over the wk/end...... Im sure I also read a HPI review with a R33 4door vs a Stagea, testing the 2 cars back to back thru the Adelaide Hills, up Gorge Rd. See if I can find it amongst the hundreds of car/bike mags I own. Brendan
  9. BS - ebay is a great way to buy, you just need to do your research to know what you're buying is of 1.) good value & 2.) good quality. At least you've asked the question and received the general concensus, for this particular item. Ive had nothing but top buys off ebay, including a $2400 Akrapovic exhaust system 500kms old I paid $700 for delivered, a set of Keihin FCR flatslide 39mm carbs worth $2000 got for $1400 delivered brand new, etc etc. I could go on, I reckon 90% of my buys have been awesome deals........ Great way to save cash, but you NEED to research the product you are intrested in, so that you minimize the chances of getting caught out. My 2c worth.
  10. Yes, it is illegal to tamper with a numberplate. BUT - there is a spray product that does work (non-aerosol), its been 'tested' by some of my riding mates in our group (I wont mention whether I use it or not, as that'd be illegal). Now of course Id never speed thru the hills on my bike, oh no officer, never. I cant remeber the name of the product, its from the USA, but consensus is, and this is from reputable people who happen to like riding extremely fast (underline extremely) thru the hills, that it does work in 'brightening' the number plate so that it over exposes when 'happy-snapped'........ Sorry, but I honestly forget the name of the product, its a very small 200ml non-pressurised finger-pump bottle. If I happen to remember and find out the name of it I'll post it up.
  11. Yes Yes I do!! I got a set of stockies with brand spanking new rubber..... could do with getting rid of them to a Stagea fanatic and grabbing some nice 18s..... mmmmm 18's
  12. Theres also a writeup in a HPI magazine (high performance imports), with a Stagea vs a JZX100 MkII I'll scan it up.
  13. Next up you'll be offering your 'services' !!!!
  14. Great tips, thanks fellas. When Im ready, I'll be grabbing slotted front rotors, good pads all round, and maybe braided lines to the front rotors. That should up the ante somewhat........
  15. Not a problem..... BTW I like those rims!!
  16. Bumping? But we dont want you to sell your Stagea.......!! Your one of us now, and there's no going back. Edit: Joking... consider it bumped.
  17. How is he and his family in the wrong? If you've been parking 5 cars in 3 spots on your property and 2 spots out the front of your house on the road, and been doing so for umpteen months, then surely the council have had plenty of time to issue 'warnings' before issuing you with car parking offences and the subsequent fines. Just because it was a high traffic area for 2 days gives the council no right to fine residents...... Door knock West Lakes residents in regards to car parking and footy matches and see what their stories are in that particular situation, ie fines, warnings, notifications etc. Damn Law!!!!
  18. Nup, fight it mate - you & your family have rights like every other resident / road user. Dont let the buggers win, keep at it and eventually you'll come out on top, maybe with some compo for the heartache???
  19. Ive got standard 16inch RSFour 'spoke style' rims with Brand New 3month old Nengkang tyres at valued $115 each. Done maybe 2000kms tops on them Not really looking for larger rims until maybe 2yrs time when my current ones expire, but would do a deal with you if you so wish......... Edit: Stagen is 1st in line, I only wrote my post if it'd help you/me out as such - Im seriously not intrested in rims at this stage, but if the right deal came along.......
  20. Good luck with it, but I have no ideas other than see a crash repairer, and talk to the insurnace company.
  21. Yes... very possible. I just went a week with no ABS and no 4WD... just blow an ABS 30amp fuse in the engine bay!!! If ppl can make a switch to turn on/off the 4WD then the ABS would be exactly the same, but I dont see why you'd want to take off a safety feature as such. Brendan
  22. That link doesnt go anywhere as such as it'd be for your personal account, Ive got the following item, but it is not fitted up as yet so I cant state for a fact that it'll bolt straight up (Im 100% it will): 1 x Nismo - Fuel Regulator Nismo Fuel Regulator 22670-RR580 AU $ 144.57 plus Paypal fee (plus delivery by memory) ended up being around $160+ As for fuel lines, maybe contact Sydneykid and ask where he goes to. Im leaving that all for the shop (Im time poor being a fulltime worker, parent, student, etc etc). Good luck with it mate, I reckon I'l just go the $230 #040 Bosch fuel pump, and I wont go Walbro as I cant be sure it'd be a genuine Walbro and not a cheap copy.
  23. SK said, $100 would cover lines and double clamps at each end to the following: (use 2 X stainless steel clamps (they are ~$3 each) on each end of the hose) 1. from the pump to the steel fuel line in the boot. 2. from the steel fuel line to the fuel filter (under the plenum) 3. from the fuel filter to the steel fuel line around the plenum 4. from the stell fuel line on the plenum to the fuel rail. The Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator on Nengun recently cost me $163 incl delivery. Was specifically to suit the RB25. Whoever does the fuel pump can easily do the fuel lines.... I dont trust myself, so my workshop will do it (they are general service mechanics who happen to drive Skylines).
