  1. How quickly do you want one? I got one just 5 weeks ago, so I fully flushed it and had the Stagea nicely tuned, but may have lined up a small frontmount. Brendan
  2. Group buy maybe?
  3. Sent you a PM. And no, I dont muck around - now we've just got to survive for another 4weeks before the next payday!! I posted in the Wanted section, so maybe thats an option fellas? Brendan
  4. "...as you forever try and find more money for the next mod on your car...." Good work on the purchase, just watch out in regards to the above comment!!! Its so true!! Ive had my Stagea (skyline wagon of sorts) for 2months now, and have already spent bloody 5k on it (just added it up, Im shocked!!) Brendan
  5. Bought a NEO R34 GTT turbocharger and actuator from a forum member..... paid $650. Apparantly its in very good condition, very clean and tidy, no shaft play, and done under 50000kms. Cheers to the ppl's who have contacted me in regards to this, Brendan
  6. How much should I be paying for a RB25 NEO turbo with actuator, in good condition, no shaft play, with low kms... ? Might have found one!!! hehehe Brendan edit: BOUGHT IT!! cant wait to get it!! hehehehe. paid $650. Thanks to a fellow forum member who got it for a RB20 but never used it. I also might have sourced a choice apexi intercooler with the C-bend at the far end, to utilise the standard intercooler engine bay holes. Get custom pipework done, add those on to the car & the other bits Ive got, retune the SAFC, and hopefully 165-odd kw at the 4 wheels, which will keep me happy for a (little) while.
  7. check 'gauge' on ebay.... saw some 3 cluster units for a damn cheap price, but they look cheap as well.
  8. No I dont, but I have received a PM regarding one..... Cheers
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...DME:B:ONA:AU:11 Ive been outbid for these GTT R34 guages, so if anyone wants some gauges for their Series 1, here they are! (ebay item 4578449632) Brendan
  10. Thank you Sir-SK! ....so very informative, thanks heaps! (not looking forward to 5hrs dyno time again!) Brendan
  11. Damn that blue S2 Stagea looks FINE!
  12. Phew.... thats good news. Very glad Ive got an insurance approved car alarm / immobiliser in my Stagea. For $150 brand new and $100 fitting, it makes sense in having one! Brendan
  13. Hmm, I dont have any clunkiness (that Ive come across as yet) on my Stagea - must be one of the lucky onse. With the SITC, SK, how long do you expect tuning to take? Do you do it on the dyno, etc? Im going to take my Z32AFM, SITC, & Nismo regulator to the workshop, have it all installed along with highpressure fuel lines and amp up the power to the fuelpump... how long do you reckon it might take to tune the SITC and retune the SAFC? Also, is it better to highflow the standard turbo currently on the car (in good condition, I think), ot highflow a rebuilt R33 turbo? Cheers, Brendan
  14. Stagea Badges, in USA JDM Nissan Stagea Wagon Used Emblem set Item number: 7909928622
  15. Cheers for the info, both here and the fuel pump query.... Im looking at all the ways I can reach 180_4wkw, without going overboard. Brendan
  16. Hard to say, wish now that I'd got the big body cat-converter (from BATMBL) rather than the small body. But Id say it was worth it, the standard comliance cat looks to be around 2inch diameter, whilst the one Ive just bought is a 3inch diameter, and that tied up well with the new 3inch stainless dump pipe and the old 3inch cat-back system. See my signature below to see final power output. Got a few more bolt-ons to go on soon, so will have it all retuned. At the end of the day, I'd suggest the hiflow is less restrictive (flowing a larger area) than a standard cat converter.... BW
  17. I hope all turns out for the best PranK. Go the GCG.... ! You dont 'need' a manual, being a tall fella and all that! (there's no way in hell Id be able to drive the Stagea as a manual, being over 2metres tall). Ive got a brand new Apexi SITC and the Nismo FPR, and already have a SAFC tuned, etc etc. Will let you know how fuel economy goes when I have everything retuned for the SITC, FPR, fuel pump, fuel lines, Z32 AFM, etc. Probably not for another month or so (just waiting on a price from the workshop who'll do the work for me, including retuning the SAFC). I was going to up it to 11psi, but upon reading this thread, I dont think I will!!! (dual stage ebc, tuned at 7 & 10psi) Brendan
  18. Doesnt Prank have them on his car???
  19. Really?? Wow, thats not good.......... Im really impressed with the current suspension, ie levels of handling, not too firm nor too soft, not too low nor too high, etc. Brendan
  20. Taking out my full Clarion stereo from my VR V8 BT1 commodore (for sale at bargain price, see the threads, got an offer of $7500 without the stereo but want slightly more!!). Anyway, that comes out this thursday, so hopefully by next weekend I'll have the amplifier, 6stack CD player, headunit with tapedeck and new door speakers, installed into the Stagea. As it is, I reckon the door speakers are crud, and the cd player in the current head unit is a waste of time, plus cant listen to FM as I havent installed the converter. Obviosuly not going to bother. Oi, the $22 figure was a memorized figure, cant quite recall how correct that is, but Im sure thats the amount the FM converter costs from jaycar. Maybe buy the dfa at the same time!! Brendan
  21. I KNOW!!! Im sure they are out there, sitting on shelves in sheds gathering dust. Im sure a few R34's have had bigger turbo's put on. I trawl thru ebay weekly looking for one, but no luck yet! Brendan
  22. Yeah, thats what Id heard about the FM converter (ie thru Jaycar for $22 roughly), but wasnt sure about the DVD side of things......
  23. Sorry Alan, the best info I can give you is go to a proffessional audio installer and ask them to help out. Can anyone else here help out? Either way; mate, how is the Stagea going? Happy with the purchase, looks, performance, etc etc? Let ppl's know how you go................... EDIT: oh, and a BIG welcome to you!   Brendan
  24. On the subject of realism..... Is it 'better' to hiflow an R34 GTT Neo turbocharger rather than a R33 GTST Turbo? The R34 RB25DET Neo has around 20kw more than the R33 RB25DET, so therefore am I better off buying an R34 Neo turbocharger, use that for a while with an added power level (once SAFC is retuned) and eventually hiflowing that? I keep thinking that this is the way to go - any reason why I shouldnt perhaps pursue this further? Brendan
  25. Hi all, Did a search last week in regards to the fuel pump, and in the DIY section there is a good tutorial in how to install a tomei direct replacement fuel pump. After further searching, Im sure I found some info that suggested that the Stagea fuel tank had the same part number of the R32GTR and that the R32GTR fuel pump should fit. For the life of me I cant seem to find that info again....(at work, need more time!) Can anyone here with Stagea's confirm this information? Cheers - Brendan
