  5. Brand of injectors to suit non-Neo RB25 is Deatschwerks
  6. sell, purchase GT2860-5 and drop in tomei cams, plus some cam gear pulley wheels, for under $3500 total. Tomei procams, in/ex 270, 10.25 lift, $825 delivered for the pair - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tomei-procam-camshaft-skyline-rb26-det-r34gtr-in-ex-270-/140424051691?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20b1ecfbeb garret GT2860-5, pair $2500 delivered, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GARRETT-GT2860R-5-x2-TURBO-KIT-Nissan-skyline-rb26-det-/140420140354?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20b1b14d42 Im using basic 'no-name' brand camgear wheels in my Rb26, with Greddy street-special camshafts to suit R34 GTR (using R34 CAS), 87mm CP pistons, ported head including HKS cam springs, built bottom end for track including HKS oil pump, sump/head baffles, oil-return, Power-fc with 550cc injectors, etc. Turbo's in my case are the downfall, using stock turbos highflowed with steel wheels. Engine built to be capable of over 350rwkw, turbo's only capable of pushing the engine to perhaps a max 300rwkw. One day will upgrade to GT2860-7's. Currently response is simply awesome, with loads of torque. Running-in tune only atm. I seriously suggest James that you match the turbo's to the engine. Too large (as is the case I feel with your 2835's) and you wont be happy with the end result. Slightly on the smaller side and you'll be very well pleased with the repsonse of the entire package. For the street -5's would be on the large side but capable of 400rwkw, -7's would be perfect and capable of up to 350rwkw.

  12. enjoy! I caught up with a good friend on sunday and enjoyed 1 beer compared to his 10. had a nasty headache for half the day. I used to drink heaps, to wash down painkillers and get 'em working, but havent been a drinker now for over 3.5yrs.
  13. with the 040 you'll want a direct feed from the battery also make sure to position it as LOW as possible so you dont have issues with the tank when 3/4 empty. with my 040 installed 4yrs ago have never had any issues, can run the fuel tank almost dry as it is situated as low down as possible.
  14. I would LOVE to join you Mark & Jules. However my stagea bottom end has finally said enough is enough (track day april 11 lost ringlands to piston#5); being towed on Monday for a budget bottom end replacement. Wish I had the funds to do it properly, but in a hard state at the moment in regards to money, the pension supplies barely enough to eat and pay for power bills
  15. apologies for being off topic SAU
  16. yes they wont do total knee replacements due to age... too young. My argument is how about my quality of life (or lack thereof), Im looking for the NOW not later when Im in my 70's. I understand the argument in relation to how long the TKR lasts for and it wont get me by for my expected lifespan....ie age 35 have 1st TKR's. age 47 have second lot, age 59 have third round TKR's. After that, at this stage, its wheelchair time. In adelaide this time last year they did a 3rd TKR (total knee replacement) to a patient; he was the first to have the 3rd TKR. Its a bit of an unknown 'grey' area. And if one fails soon after surgery its still counted, due to the nature of the surgery - the rods that go down/up the tibia/fibular need to be replaced each time, your bone gets brittle due to the hollowing out. Ive just gotten into my head I'll probably have to look outside the state (sth australia) for better advice / treatment. Perhaps I should be looking into overseas treatment..... doesnt seem right does it? The 4th surgeon Im seeing has decided he wants to get into the joints to looksee, being on public system now (cant afford private since Im on disability pension) that'll be sometime end next year. Last surgeon who removed both patellas was the ex president of aust.medical association, I trusted his opinion, but removing both kneecaps in a 6'8" giant just does not work. thanks for the thoughts Brian, please tell your sister Im thinking of her, as I know right now she'll be going thru a dark period in her life. Terry, your words are very kind. You sir are a genuine human being, thoughtful of others, forever trying to help. I for one appreciate that. Thank you again. I do look forward to speaking with you again.

  19. Thank you for your time Terry, I look forward to speaking with you again. apologies for being a little emotional....... obviously Im not happy with the 'alround' situation I find myself in at the moment, and find it difficult to speak out/up in regards to my health.
