well bad news for me, the stagea is dead. refuses to drive any further, being towed to boostworx on monday (was trying to hold out till start sept when the house sale goes thru, but cant any longer)

No, I've been in pain since I was 11, chronic pain since age 19. Depression is more likely from my perceived 'shithouse life' I'm leading. Lose of job, marriage breakdown, lack of access to my children, can't pay homeloan had to put my Castle on the market, depression from the fact that I can't find peace nor happiness in this life due to the 24/7 pain I have to deal with. Removal of patellas has left me unable to trust my body, gotten to the point that I see no positive future for myself. I feel useless, like a failure, see no hope for future comfort. Everyday I feel like I need to question "why" why do I have to put up with this. Specialists haven't been of much help terry.

I took myself off Pristiq a month ago (anti-deps) - was being used for depression & apparently to help pain relief, in conjunction with Durogesic (fentynal - ie morphine slow release skin patch). Wasnt going so well with the anti-deps, probably the 4th or 5th type Ive been put on (chronic pain leads to depression)....... I simply felt like I wanted to top myself, for quite a while too. 18months? Was NOT a positive effect, far from it. I can now see clearly that for the past 3yrs Ive been on Pristiq Ive been making some terrible decisions....... Would Not recommend.

I used to run a CAI-box to house a K&N filter. Thesedays simply have a hardpipe from an Apexi pod filter to the turbo and dont run a CAI at all. I use the standard snorkel still, and a hardpipe running from the bumper to the pod filter (as I no longer run a return-flow fmic). 240awkw @ 1bar from the auto awd with no CAI (tuned with 450cc S15 injectors - purchasing 600cc soon, and a bottom end rebuild so I'll be looking towards 270awkw, still with no CAI).

That very well could be a TENS machine; think I mentioned how it may help in my PM to you last week. Ive got 2 here, one works with the pads around the area that is being worked on (for me thats the knees), the other one I have you stick the elec.pads at base & top of spine, effectively reduces signals of pain thru the spinal cord to the brain.

installed bonnet & passenger chair with harness just got to run-in the engine now and get back to Boostworx for the final track-tune.

I think its a pretty good job. Bit of plain information, bit of comedy (needed benny-hill chase type music when the IronChef runs after Miss.Fine); keep up the good work I say!

cheers for that info - it'll be CP pistons then with either eagle or manley rods then. probably will keep to stock balancer, and standard N1 pumps to keep the costs down a bit.

Im was running with 240rwkw at 1bar thru auto on my S1 rb25det Stagea. Bottom end has finally let go after a handful of trackdays, compression in cylinder#5 is v.low. Looking to rebuild the block in a few months time with N1 oil & water pumps, a fresh nismo timing belt kit, wiseco 87mm pistons with manley rods, arp rod bolts & main studs, acl race bearings, a fresh full cometic streetpro gasket set, extended crank collar, & honing the block to suit. I'll be upgrading the 450cc S15 injectors to 600cc and installing a Nistune Z32ecu to replace the Toshi remap and AEM Fic-8 piggyback ecu. The head has been ported a few years ago, setup with tomei cams and springs, etc. Turbo is a GT3076iw. Everything already done is strong and ready for a forged bottom end. What Im not sure about is whether I should get a Ross harmonic balancer and under-driven pulley set, and whether I should bother thinking about a reimax N1 oil pump gearset or a different oil pump altogether such as a Nismo oil pump for around $1100del. Engine would probably not see track work again, but I would like to up the power by around 30rwkw for an end result of at least 270awkw from 16-18psi from the auto/awd stagea.
