souther run: old south road thru to Myponga going onto yankallila, continue to normanvile, thru second valley and head to delemere...... do the 'delemer run' around 12kms left right sweepers ontop of a hill, at end of road turn right to head into victor harbor. from victor head to strathalbyn, and back to adelaide via clarendon. all up thats a good 200km southern cruise.

definately same CHRA as my unit. visually the blades are identical. mine has stock nissan 45v4 compressor housing which has been machined out to the fullest extent, 700177-5015 garret chra dual ball-bearing internal-wastegate, with AVO 'skyline 6-bolt' .73AR exhaust housing. My rb26 track setup has an intank R32 GTR fuel pump running to a 2-litre surge tank, with an external Walbro DA-27 fuel pump. When I bought the da-27 around a year ago it was advertised as 305Lph and aimed at the bosch 044 market. Not after the same powermark, will be limited to around 300rwkw/400rwhp with 550cc siemens & steel-wheeled rebuilt turbos.

oh wow!! porting work looks ace definately one hell of a weapon (once running) still think you're crazy to outsource the driving, dont see any point in that whatsoever IMHO should be all you and only you!!!

on both ocasions my cost was about a grand for the head porting/polishing work in both cases I supplied cams and cam springs, the rest was left to the machinist to recondition/replace as necessary rb25det - tomei poncams & springs r32 rb26dett - greddy R34 cams & HKS camsprings, r34 cas for both engines Im using basic "areospeed" (ebay) adjustable cam gear pulley wheels, exhaust only on Rb25 and the pair (exh/in)for the Rb26 the pull from the Rb26 is insane! and thats on a runin tune only, with stock turbos (steel wheel rebuilds). very happy with the work performed. ask around for a quote.

had a stagea dyno day there a year ago. was run by 2 lads my age, tuners dad runs Adelaide Turbo Services and uncle runs Southern hitech dyno. or vice-versa. Not sure if ownership has changed since. havent got any comments as I havent had work done there before. news my end, signing a house sale contract this afternoon. not sure what to do with the stagea, rebuild bottom end and tidy up paint (rust under mirrors, flaking pain around rear wheel arches), or trade in on something like a VE SV6 commodore.......

Interesting... Ive just had a rb26 engine fully built, runnin-in atm. I too am using R34 cams and R34 cas, engine is R32. Will keep this in mind........
