I did NOT mean my comments to read so negatively - hope everything works out ok !
-
no offence meant. family & trusted friends are all above board, just like in this instance. Heslo obviously trusts Chef and as friends Im sure they'll work out an arrangement. feel real down for you both
-
no way Id say I told you so, but fact is you just cant trust anyone else with your possessions...... no offence meant to Chef or Heslo. just the way I see life. Your possession = your responsibility, + fact others wont feel for it the same way you do.

Ive added this to the rb26 sump, along with CRD (mines-copy) head baffle unit, tomei oil restrictor, and head to sump oil return feed. Didnt enlarge the sump. This is for a track only forged engine

repco, sprint auto parts, autobarn, etc. the clip should be like $0.50c dont worry, lost mine recently as well. to put it back on, it'll be hard as fark, use a pair of pliers to pull like buggery, slip it on a bit, and hammer it down into place take a off-boost drive down to your local auto store and grab a new clip. install with pliers. all the best. cant put my finger on what is wrong in your application. no suggestions other than retune the nistune ecu elsewhere (different dyno/operator) bad luck about the costs Hanaldo. Not a nice feeling Im sure, trying to keep to a budget and then finding you've gone over budget with no result to speak of

Nick could have gone that way (should have in my book) but is right into percussion. Awesome sounds tho. Best drummer Ive ever head. Lars Ulrich (metallica) has nothing on Nick...... everyday after school I had to wait for 2.5hrs to be picked up (back in 90-1994), used to listen to Nick while doing homework (nick was a boarder @ westminster, every afternoon spent hours in the music room smashing the drums), seriously never heard anyone to have the wood on his skills. -

I boiled all the water/coolant at my last track day. Would have been 120degrees PLUS. Hopefully my dedicated RB26 r32 sedan track car never sees boiling point, not a nice feeling wondering if youve ruined your engine. If I didnt have a thick headgasket on my RB25 (stock bottom end, ported head, gt3076) Im sure it would have shagged the engine...... It could be your stock radiator is blocked with sludge. best to replace it with a thicker dual/triple core aluminium 'race' item. The one in my RB26 is from ASI in melbourne @52mm thick, the RB25 radiator is a Koyo 40mm thick item

nice but your drummer has nothing over my mate Nick Parnell. Nicks the best drummer Ive ever heard. Should have gone to the states and worked with Pearl Jam or someone similar. used to be in The Undecided an old local adelaide band. Instead is into percussion "stuff", symphony orchestra etc. ABC sell his music. The Undecided - 1993 Disolve Marble Iron On Spiderpillowmonkeyhead Accidental Ah, Mephistophilis! also have some of his old mixtapes from the band. Awesome stuff -

Rb26 Cam Timing Adjustment To Reduce Lag
Tangles replied to chrisking666's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
2.5" exhaust? There lies in the problem, as in of course spool time is out the window Clean the GTR stock cooler (proven 350-400rwkw potential), 4" off the dump, you'll gain shiteloads. As for what cooler if you replace - jap proven for sure in this instance as Ash posted. HKS, Trust, ARC etc Personally Id use stock for now and just fix that exhaust issue up, 4" all the way and you'll be happy Im sure. -
GOLDEN THREAD Pity Im not a betting man, dont bet, or Id lay down some on Heslo, just 'cause he might. While I argue its unfair 'cause the borrower (Chef) can thrash it flat to the floor, give it back & have not a care in the world for consequences (big crash)... whilst the owner might drive 'not quite' flat out due to the nature of the beast, ie sentimental / personal value of the car. In other words Chef can drive it 100% vs Heslo at 97.5%, always holding "just that little bit" back. In this instance Chef by a good half-second. I see Chef setting the times and Heslo bettering his in his attempt to reach the golden 100% all-in threshold If Heslo reaches this 100% spot for a lap he'll see 1.18.7's to Chefs 1.19.4's Go Heslo. Give it some.

Rb26 Cam Timing Adjustment To Reduce Lag
Tangles replied to chrisking666's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Take off the intercooler, clean it out with 50/50 mix metho/kerosene, it'll be gunked up with old oily deposits. Get that crystal clean inside, make sure there are no intake leaks throughout the system, and work on that 'zaust.
