use a couple of magnaflow resonators between the cat-converter and the rear muffler also, Id suggest replacing the muffler if the resonators dont help. a resonator in my system helped remove some drone - simply 3" dump, gutted cat, magnaflow 3"resonator, kakimoto 3" straight through GTR racing muffler definately more room in mine to add another muffler and/or resonator

3071r with .63a/r should be bang smack on 250-260kw 3076r with .73a/r should be around 280kw plenty of midrange pull with both these above, 3071r > 2871r imo for RB25

Outlaw 4000 4-piston billett aluminium brake calipers made for panoz racing, comes with pads I bought the panoz 4-pot billett aluminium brakes a year ago off ebay USA and immediatley ordered the correct set of pads to suit. nice and thick chunky wilwood racing pads brand new the piston calipers (pair) were a spare set for a champ car outfit (panoz; seeing the calipers are purple with panoz written on them) they were selling 3x sets and I got in 1st so they sent me the best least-used pair I have since purchased r32 gtr calipers and shortly a 330mm disc/adapter set, for the stagea - photo shows panoz/outlaw size difference vs 4pot gtr caliper slightly different alignment to nissan, misses/narrower by 6mm centre-to-centre so a slightly wider caliper bracket would be needed (engineer can make one up no worries) then you could bolt up larger discs as well, 330mm would work best made by outlaw disc brakes, model 4000 http://www.outlawdiscbrakes.com/3000_4000.html $500 including postage amywhere in australia, including new pads

yeh this is for down the track - auto awd rb26 stagea the sale of parts from the r32 sedan and my current engine will suffice ie: rb25 ported head, tomei camshafts & valve springs - $2000 rb25 gt3076 garret ball bearing turbo - $1500 rb25 bottom complete bottom end with rwd gtr sump - $500, rb30 manual box, tein r32 suspension, injectors, splitfires, - $2000 gtr fuel pump, stagea brakes, gtr front calipers, Panoz racing 4-pot billet calipers - $1000 gtst sedan shell, other bits etc, a few more grand easy.

thats why I will use a completely seperate automatic transmission controller such as the TCM-2000 from Powertrain (for nissan auto gearbox)

Hi all. Currently have a rb26dett engine with rwd sump mated to rb30 manual tranmission. My plans are to build it up, and drop it into my auto AWD C34 1997 Stagea Receiving soon a r32 gtr 600hp ati harmonic balancer, greddy grex n1 SS camshafts, hks step-2 valve springs, hks oil pump, hks 87mm pistons, attkd conrods, acl race bearings Will buy the rest of the required parts later "when it's time" such as greddy head gasket kit, n1 water pump, ati pulleys, arp main-exhaust-intake-head studs, greddy timing belt & idler/tensioner bearings Im assuming I can swap the sumps over? rb25det awd stagea sump to rb26dett engine? I will be keeping the car as automatic. Simple as that. Should I build up the current stagea auto box? Or by a VL/RB30 auto gearbox already pre-built. What size stall converter should be used? Thoughts on electronic auto trans controllers? yeh - whys that - wont they work (ie bolt on) ? I thought they did. . . or are you saying they are crud. to be used only a few times per yr on a R32 track-sedan the rb26 engine will be rebuilt in a couple of years time after some Mallala sessions, and go into my Stagea
