  3. picked up a bhp-steel roll cage today, $5 purchase off ebay to suit a prado it will be going into (modified) my r32 gts-t sedan track car; featuring rb26dett guessing ~1400kg including cage less stuff taken out (seats, sound deadener, etc) perhaps 100kg it'd be close to get down to 1200 lighter aluminium bonnet would help take out the fuel tank and use a cell instead, perhaps? smaller radiator overflow bottle, etc, trim back unwanted metal, etc....

  18. hello all. could someone with wiring experience please advise what goes where? To start with, I am building up a track car. the car is an 1993 R32 4-door Skyline GTst sedan, 5spd manual rb30 gearbox rwd Rb26dett engine & loom, new highflowed turbos, 750cc injectors with gtr fuel pump, large fmic, tein coilover suspension, safc, etc Currently stripping it (interior is in excellent condition!!) and looking for a roll-cage. Also awaiting a few goodies many many goodies, such as 17" slick tyres, seats & rails, engine bolt-on parts to go along with what Ive collected over the years * Anyways to cut to the chase; many moons ago I paid for a MAP-ECU unit from Canada ebay, $200 delivered. Finally received the unit recently, hopefully good value for money seeing it's new. Now, supposedly it wires up like a Safc. I am installing the unit into my R32 GTR engine ecu, which currently has a safc wired up. Tried wiring but the problem I have is that I simply dont know what the "White wire - Ignitor Module, or Negative terminal of the ignition coil" means. Im stumped. Here are the wiring instructions: * Red wire from MapEcu to a switched +12v wire to the stock ecu (ignition key activated) * Black wire from MapECU to 0v Ground Earth from the stock ecu * Orange wire from MapEcu to the AFM signal leading to the stock ecu * White wire from MapEcu to the Igniter signal from the stock ecu to Igniter module, or to the negative terminal of the ignition coil * Brown wire from MapEcu to TPS signal wire leading to the stock ecu * Yellow wire from MapEcu to 02 Sensor wire - I will be using my AEM wideband controller references: Map-Ecu crowd: http://www.mapecu.com/ Linked wiring diagram: http://www.mapecu.com/wiring/Nissan%20Skyl...%20RB26DETT.pdf Linked manual: http://www.mapecu.com/manuals/MAP-ECU_Manual_NZ.pdf word document showing safc wiring to rb26dett - Please_use_the_diagram_below_for_vehicles_using_the_RB26DETT_engine.doc word document showing rb26dett eccs pinout guide - ECCS_control_unit_pin_layout_RB26DETT.doc wiring scan diagram - http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g302/bwi...anwires0001.jpg thanks again if you could set me in the right direction - Tangles
