  1. yup thats the one. all's good.
  2. hence why I had to leave when i did, city south rd traffic with backing plates for front pads..... took it nice and easy; slot newies in tomorrow, and get back out there asap
  3. awesome input, .. I think its the profec-b, more dyno time soon for sure. wasnt a huge issue today at mallala, but was there nonetheless
  4. stagea was fantastic; no pads at all on either fronts tho !! down to metal pad backing vs metal disc. lol lol next time I'll be packing pads for sure !! cheers all, great 1st time out - will be out there again very soon for sure!
  5. also Ive got a registered nissan data scan v.153 so I can possioble check you obd for issues/etc if you require just taking 1Lt oil & 20L fuel for me, tools for use + 2x spare helmets for use, however probably not the jack or stands.
  6. so excited. stagea seems ready, bar weird revcut above 6000rpm think its the ebc, after 2 nights of hills tests/trials. re-washing just now to get rid of last nights bugs, and check nuts etc went over the engine and fluids yesterday, everything is ready - bar my knees
  7. what are you needing ?
  8. cheers matey. yeh everything bar bottom end is modd'd... but its not like I rev up there all the time. engine is healthy currently. found after a spin last night that different profec b settings resulted in different rpm cuts 10% gain 1bar boost revcut at 6500 rpm whereas 10% gain 1.15bar boost saw 6800rpm gear changes and no revcut weird monday; trackday. will try to sort out during the day.
  9. emailed you my base map, cheers
  10. Im in morphett vale - can help install. 3 bolts up top, and a couple underneath and she's out. other than that try pedders m/vale.
  11. try one of mine, morphett vale anytime you want. stagea is ready - was keeping the amp/sub in tho
  12. Im sure its the fic-8 exe program that is limiting the rpm to 6500 can a tuner tech please have a look at the linked program (base map will be in the folder you install the program to, to play with) and suggest what to change to get the rpm limited back up to 7300 rather than 6500rpm - its losing 15kw as you can see. thanks
  13. I got 2 sets of 4x JDM Silvia 450/480cc injectors for a total of $500 from JPS Trading ltd on ebay good to deal with and always have interesting items coming through weekly had 6 of the 8 injectors installed yesterday and its all great !
  14. yep, will pick one up later today - just asked for one. boost is ~17psi and rpm is cut at 6500rpm easy power to redline for sure, but the cut that comes in isnt from the stock ecu; its fic related or a component yeah I want the cams played with next dyno session to bring it in a little more, but with more time trying the fic-8 exe program we'll get there. and hope to fix that rev-cutout issue so it gets back to 7300 so, to fit next session is heater core, 3 din guages, and get that rpm rev limit sorted, as 6500 is a bit poxy - its set for 7300 so there is an issue there map sensor driven and tuned now, excellent to drive
  15. the helmets for use are: Bieffe xl to suit normal sized bloke, and a AGV large i think for the more 'petite' headed ppl Ive got a proper race Suomy xl helmet for mwa car is ready, new ecu is working well bar 6500rpm cut, running map sensor rather than maf
  16. diagnose the issue>?
  17. got a beaut economic fuel map written for the 450cc injectors now the rev cutout point is 6500rpm what could be the cause of this? due to larger tomei cams? the head port work we did? perhaps the ecu remap chip might be off on rpm calibration? thoughts? cheers
  18. serious? hm, grab awd then
  19. mine is at boostworx right now, tuning the AEM FIC-8 ecu. 235kw at 5850rpm but not reving past 5850 at all - Im sure its a setting in the program, I have made my suggestion re calibration to the tuners, so hopefully a little later I'll get the good news that all is fixed and well, reving thu to 7250rpm as per the remap chip. the AEM FIC-8 looks great: here http://www.aempower.com/files/electronics/...lease080728.exe for $350 off ebay its a massive score, considering the safc/sitc sold for $300 before they were even off the car! Hopefully my thoughts re the tune program setup work, and she free revs again into the red zone. 250kw
  20. had a thought; phoned the tuner... he'll try (re: program calibration)
  21. Currently have my Rb25det Stagea at boostworx for the AEM FIC-8 ecu install. Everything is working, bar the fact that revs wonk go past 5850rpm, although the rev limit is set to around 7250rpm via ecu-remap chip Suggestions please. Program used for tuning is this: http://www.aempower.com/files/electronics/...lease080728.exe ECU is wired into the TPS, CAS, takes over Injectors 1 through to 6 JDM S15 silvia 450cc injectors have been fitted and calibrated, working fine (had 8 to choose from) Currently 235kw@wheels but not getting past 5850rpm. Thoughts on how to fix? cheers
  22. TELL ME MOAR.....
  23. I'll just meet ppl at the track, probably leave home around 6.45am to get out to the track around 7.50am will bring 2x spare helmets, jerrycan with pulp + octane boost, 2L oil, some tools (incl. spring clamps) and can bring a good jack if needed too
  24. bah: you need a Stagea then ....
  25. lol at the rotors. ask 'em is it 1.3L 9000rpm or 3.9L 3000rpm
