Im using 'extra-low' flynn performance R33 seat rails. Sits nice and low, seat goes right back for my 6'8'ness and far forward for my wifes 5'2'ness Pretty sure they are adr approved as well, for around $175 ea (bottom or side mount) Damned Drift SAAS seat is so so so comfy Off to boostworx today, to run some maps up onto the FIC-8 ecu got 22x17 maps for: * boost * frequency hz * ignition timing * air fuel ratio * mass airflow meteer * oxygen sensor plus AUX A&B seeyas

sorry I dont have a towbar setup on the stagea our ford Escape does tho. . . . but Im bringing the stag lol soz also, yeh Ive got a fire ext. setup in my wagon, for $30 for a 1kg unit and bracket you cant go wrong, albeit mine is in the rear wagon area. for helmets, any motorbike store should have decent helmets for $100. just make sure it has the aus standards sticker on the outer back. I will bring a spare (or two) in anyone forgets a helmet I guess I'll be wearing Draggin kevlar-inner denim jeans, long sleeved shirt, leather R-Jays jacket, flat soled shoes, helmet with helmet cam

mwahahaha the fic-8 works !! I had the wrong exe program so it wouldnt read vic the pc grr goddamned now, to drop in the 450's injectors, write some air:fuel maps, ignition timing maps, and injector maps. plus 02 and frequency, all 21x17 Huge scope have a look: http://www.aempower.com/files/electronics/...lease080728.exe see you at the track day ! hehehe (currently running the harness re-tinkered back into itself as the injector wires cut, the fic-8 ecu is on my desk here)
-
I can do it My consult & laptop are in my car, at boostworx atm let me know if you need a hand.
-
damn it my aem f/ic-8 wont flash - cant read/write, so needs to go back to usa factory grr damn car has been at the shop for a week only for this to happen. grrr safc goes back in for a while longer

hmm. I would have thought my rb25det auto stagea would be into the 13's regardless of tyre heat. 17's is slow. as a stocker (10psi + catback exhaust) my stag was high 15's and low 16's. now with 400hp engine (2x as strong as stock) Id be into 13's surely and Id hope 12's with some practice. perhaps you need a line locker kit? to lock the front brakes but release the rears? hold brakes down front, rears spin and heat up. could be too that your suspension isnt as well setup as it could be..... plus the rb20det auto isnt putting out a huge amount of power anyways.......
-
cant wait myself... 20% larger injectors drop in on thurs, along with the f/ic-8 ecu. tune day hoping the stagea feels good. does so far with the wider track rims and wheel align. brakes will be the downer

Whats The Black Code Code For Stagea?
Tangles replied to RubyRS4's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
firewall, RHS, on the plates a series of letters above the engine type ie: silky snow pearl = WK1 -
a different way to do it.... you purchase a "smog pump" from the USA hook that up to air-cond. pump so it's spinning and forcing air (~800cfm) run this unit in the intake and you'd notice a difference a little trick to force-feed air for motorbikes...... same principle for RB engines.

yup new O2 sensor time, I replaced mine recently (4wire wired up to 3wire connection) I love the Corvette Stingray, 67' is a classic but Id love a 77'. With a twin turbo 6.0litre V8. Also love the TA-22 77' Celica, with a RB25det she'd be awesome As for 4wd's - I hate the size of the things, but recently we got a make-believe 4wd, the Ford Escape 02'. not a bad car whatsoever, very roomy inside (enough for 4x 200cm tall adults + luggage comfortably), but not that huge on the road. easy to handle. very happy with the purchase at $6500 incl. tyres, airfare and petrol melb-adl. spending $500 on it atm thru Boostworx and its in top notch condition. also dropping in the injectors, setting up the ecu and tune, on the 8th. cant wait. Boostworx of course

yeh mine is a koyo radiator to suit a series 2 R33. nice upgrade
-
I bought two lots of four injectors for a total of $500 so, I have 2 x JDM S15 injectors for a series 1 stagea (or s1/s2 R33) for $100. pm me yes, cheap injector upgrade

cams are great BUT, if you do go down this route, grab matching spring lifters, and have the head fitted with new valve stem seats and seals, valve head guides port and machine the head for optimal enhanced flow with the new tomei springs, poncams, new ported/flowed head... you'll love the difference. but then again afterwards you'll be leaning towards turbocharging your n/a r34

had to hammer in the inner lip, on the rears, to stop any scraping from tyre touching guard lip. got a few paint chips from the hammering / metal folding, so will eventually do a full body touchup as is now, no scraping, runs awesome thru the twisties with 9.5" wide rims and 240rwkw. will tighten up the swaybars to max at next weeks tune up.
-
well I did my rears today. fronts are fine as is the 17x9.5rims now feel fantastic thru the twisties, the 235/45/17 tyres stretched but now not hitting the inside lip jacked the rear up, took off the rear rims, tapped the rear lip edge up, then hit the inside rim fold with a rubber hammer and a solid hammer ended up folding the inner guard lip into itself, but got a bit of paint peal chipping off. minor enough, but enough to justify a full paint touchup next year, to repair the mirror rust, rear bar crack and bodywork chip/stone damage. so yeah, just by folding the rear guard lip into itself the tyres now dont scrape thru the hard corners. next week it gets a tune, so will also tighten up the swaybars to max setting.

hmm - wilall told me they wernt interested in tuning the stag

well, frankly, from ALL research, the AEM F/IC-8 is the best copgyback you can possibly buy, better than the emanage ultimate simply thru the sheer size of the tune scope. ie 3 different overseeing controls, 22x17 pc mapping x 3, for air:fuel, ign.timing & injector duty. get a remapped ecu and add in the F/IC-8 or a Emanage Ultimate (same price, emanage is widely known, but the f/ic seems pretty awesome - looks easy enough to self tune with the AEM Wideband kit) and you'll be laughing ! currently with the remap S1 c34 + safc/sitc got 240rwkw, not a bad tune at all... but with the remap s1 c34 + f/ic-8 copgyback + s15 injectors I expect a much better result. throw on a wideband kit, save the logs of your drive, and tune to your hearts content -
just got back from a hills run. nice night out there thats for sure. yes sir'e umm, need my guards rolled.
-
hey, could I get in touch with you sometime soon, to roll 4 guards on my stagea? rubbing with the 9.5's on all-round, want to get it sorted prior to the 26th track day. are you able to help out? Im free anytime basically being out of work, but if you dont want to "pimp my guards?, can you perhaps suggest someone down south who can roll guards? cheers mate

+1 hell, once mine is tuned next friday on the dyno (AEM F/IC-8 & S15 injectors) I'll be toying with the tune myself, laptop will fit a lambda sensor + guage, and road tune to buggery =)
