  3. fitted 17x9.5 +23 235/45/17 Marshal matrac tyres
  4. the CHRA is suited for 500hp, the comp/exh housings would be ~450hp the turbo is rated to 290rwkw max 22psi..... for me, meh its an auto so frankly Id be impressed with 265rwkw @ 18psi. thatd be a complete road tune result, awd auto, couldnt go wrong....... bar the auto slipping but currently she's all good
  5. My S1 Stagea pinout shows pin 5 as tachometer activation signal pin 23 Throttle sensor signal pin 37 Throttle opening signal pin 54 airflow meter signal pin 55 airflow meter earth
  6. the $2300 ATS Adelaide Turbo Services highflow is a garrett bbiw GT3076R chra core, 60-trim front stock ported cover, rear AVO .73 housing you get: braided water lines, oil return pipe braided oil lines, everything bolts up as per stock stock Nissan V45 front compressor turbo cover, ported to 60-Trim, extended snout for stock intake rear AVO Skyline exhaust housing, .73 spec Garrett ball bearing internal wastegate GT3076R chra turbo core 500hp, true blue garret 700177-5015 I state it is worth every penny current tune puts out 240kw at 1bar and running 1.25bar sees over 250kw next tune in 2 weeks time for upgraded ecu & injectors, expecting near enough to 270rwkw from the auto rb25
  7. ah ha except by not travelling, putting everything into a home since age 18, mortgage now under 20k
  8. remap + piggyback (safc + sitc) = 240kw at the rears series 1 auto see Toshi, series 2 auto go nistune piggybacks are going in a weeks time, in goes the AEM F/IC-8 ...... insane piece of hardware 3 areas of mapping, 22x17 pc maps for air:fuel, ignition timing & injectors. dropping in the S15 silvia 450cc injectors, they are 20% larger than the 370cc stock injectors. 100% duty cycle sees 240rwkw from 370cc and patched air:fuel, ign.timing via the limited safc/sitc the 450's will see 260rwkw plus simply due to the complete 1000 spots for adjustment on the pc in air:fuel, ign.time & injectors have a research, the best value for money as a ecu with the stagea is the AEM F/IC-8 Im soooo looking forward to the tune on the 8th oct, with my $100 laptop and $50 nissan consult datascan unit/software, free F/IC tune software, I'll be able to road tune dyno first then some changes to the mapping on the road, the F/IC-8 logs everything so you can replay the drive and touchup "on the fly" after !
  9. yeah stirls, I know its a torque curve, ... being my car and all the tunes etc I just happen to know at that point of time with that tune the boost dropped off as described alls good now tho
  10. cold car limiter what am I missing? anyways, dont mind me mate, i bark on heady days but dont bite
  11. from 120 thru to 180 the downward line shows that it was dropping from 14.7psi down to 12psi at WOT in top gear
  12. still dropping off - but fuelling is the issue here again, on 8th oct bigger injectors slot in, so will update some graphs for discussion. Id suggest damo that a better ebc will do the job well. p-fc boost controller.
  13. see how a decent boost controller works better ? edit: the dropping off of boost was from restricted exhaust, much flatter now at the pointy end of the graph tune of new piggyback ecu on 8th Oct, update then with a 250+ kw tune map
  14. yeh it does - cold thick oil and rev limiter nasty driver GRRRR
  15. ah simple then, save for the power fc boost controller - scour ebay, JPS Trading Ltd is a good trader to search thru you can see where the boost T isnt cutting the mustard from 80-120kmph
  16. and it was cold?? man, I always baby my RB until the engine is warm; that means NO boost whatsoever and always under 3000rpm smashn thru the gears and bouncing the rev limiter on a cold engine is plain silly sorry, you make baby jebus's RB engine cry
  17. damo that boost curve looks consistent with the r34 turbo a really good ebc may fix up the peak & hold boost, or better yet a fully tuneable computer as it is it isnt a bad tune...
  18. why? i cant believe rims are sooo expensive !!!
  19. lol g0t rice ?
  20. awesome work 38weeks ago ! glad to see everyone is all happy safe and sound
  21. stagea ecu pinout and r33 ecu pinout are two completely different creatures. it may be that the ecu isnt reading an injector. or similar. can guarantee it isnt reading all that it is meant to. best bet is to use the ecu that is meant to be used with the engine, ie stagea ecu.
  22. I was going to go complete white all over but going black centre/white rim stripe for now with the polished dish. 'cause its just VHT paint I can strip and re-do to my hearts content actually got a few mozies in the last spray, LOL. got to polish back with an angle grinder wool pad, touch up and autosol the dish
  23. haha^ here's how they are coming along half way done - polish the black paint, then attack the lip with autosol again
  24. cleaned up all the rims with stone grinding drill bits, and sanded what I could cleaned up the gutter rash with angle grinder sandpaper disc painted the inside black, and the outside bit dodgy but never mind I'll try another coat of black in an hours time then a can of clear coat, rip off the masking tape and polish the dish some more 17x9.5" +23 offset
