update: AEM FIC/8 piggyback controller is being wired in soon, to replace the safc & sitc. the F/IC8 runs 3lots of 21x17 maps, for air:fuel ratio, injector duty latencies, & ignition timing all up thats 1071 potential tuning map points, compared to the basic safc/sitc combo also have now a $100 Dell latitude 640 laptop to run Nissan Consult full version & the AEM F/IC-8 program so it reads from the consult cable and tunes via usb for the AEM piggyback computer Will be dropping in 6x S15 injectors (have 2 for sale), adjusting the duty cycle, air:fuel and ignition timing, and hitting over 250rwkw not bad for a $450 piggyback ecu and a $100 laptop

took a ford escape thru today (6k ebay 2days ago lol) was shittn myself as Id just got back from driving it back from melbourne and hadnt taken off the damaged stone guard, nor checked for any leaks/damages went all over the car and gave it a thumbs up. wow, thank christ thats over with. all rego'd now (was running on a vicroads unrego'd permit) if it was a turbo import I reckon they woulda done it for worn bushes and whatnot, surely (98000kms)

this car is a 20yr keeper, so its all good in this instance. windows-based tuning, maps of fuel, ignition & injector pulse shouldnt be rocket science, and software is readily available awaiting a $120 ebay-special 2ndhand laptop which will reside in the car, for tuning. I imagine over time I'll be fiddling with settings myself, and my current mechanic is more than competent

for the missus - safety 1st hey. high visability both ways - from her higher viewpoint, and the colour being bright & out-there for other road users to acknowledge 6k plus 2x new tyres + unreg permit fee + duty/plates etc after inspection. bumper from a wrecker and will clean up any unstraight metalwork

whats similar is that they are auto stags with highflows....... its all the same basic principles / theories. S1, S2, M35, all stags with the varied stagea features, auto boxes are auto boxes, and high flows are highflows. again a variety in types.....

well here in Adelaide we have the famed martin donnan at willal racing but currently use and recommend Boostwerkx, shaun dunns should be fine.
