  5. It's a long drive, and there are plenty of areas where you can squirt it a bit. Other than that just stay on YOUR side of the line, unless overtaking safely, and everything is fine. Take it easy, be aware, & enjoy your trip safely. you'll want a full tank of 98'ron, & the stag in good cond.
  6. Its just a drive... a nice drive at that everything will be fine, ey. photo's at the start, chat etc, then off we go on a nice cruise on a pretty sweet route. nothing more than where I went & what I did every weekend on the motorbike. (hence the earlyish start - would rather leave at 7am tbh !!) there wont be any issues; it's just a drive craig; at that corner we'll just be warming up

  13. exactly with the labour fee saved buy a wideband air:fuel guage / monitoring system and learn self-tuning hai five's http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Haltech-Haltuner-Ai...93%3A1|294%3A50
  14. straight out my list saves you $500 but gives you a fresh secondhand ecu from japan, delivered within a fortnight also gives you brand new working coilpacks and good copper sparkplugs/oil. fresh service, will feel good, an hour on the dyno will make her feel great. Id even suggest using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator $180 del a safc-II secondhand $220 del, then some dynotuning that will spend all of the $1500 but the car will feel and perform better than ever. now go back to the mechanic and tell him to do the following for $1500 supply & tune * Splitfire coilpacks $500 new * bcpre6 spark plugs $20 new * nismo adjustable fpr $180 delivered new * 300v motul 10/40 5L oil $130 incl ryco 201 fuel filter & ryco z145a oil filter * safc-II $250 secondhand * C34 ECU replacement off yahoo.co.jp $300 delivered * service fee, labour, dynotune time $200
  15. hmmmmm. for that sort of money..... seems bad. try this: * Splitfire coilpacks $500 new * bcpre6 spark plugs $20 new * 300v motul 10/40 5L oil $130 incl ryco 201 fuel filter & ryco z145a oil filter * yahoo.co.jp search "c34 ecu" and grab one for around $200 use sau trader Import Monster http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...er-t249331.html example list: http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/sear...=0jp&acc=jp one that will fit: http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e89091024 import monster will give you a price and win the bid for you, then deliver it. good luck, save your cash, and try another tuner?
  16. these were used / made for Panoz Racing and used on the rear of a nascar (?). guy had 4 sets, they went real quick. love my ebay will use my trusted engineer shaun at BoostWorx DynoTuning & Engineering to fit. edit: could be outlaw 4000-series more research coming up !! lol p5.pdf
  17. as I said, mate the guy in japan had an safc for a reason...... having the ecu chip its only say 75% tuned, the safc fixes it all up spot on - grab a safc & fpr - get on dyno, pay the $$ for a tune - be impressed with power and know its all good & safe (air/fuel) save up $600 for all the above IMHO
  18. lolz Im already running Maltech braided brake lines, so will simply use an adapter piece to make 2+2 fit together plus I already have a set of larger slotted rotors that I grabbed a yr ago for $50 got these Panoz 4-pots off ebay, searched Panoz Wilwood !! I paid $150aud delivered. as good a deal as brembos surely with pads being 120 deliv its under $300 so far rims are BJR Grafic 17x7.5 +38 with 5mm spacers definately going to make them fit -
  19. Im putting these 4-pots on the front using Wilwood Superlite bp-10 pads going to make these billet aluminium 4 piston calipers fit !!! (bolts/lines/clearances) dont care how I do it they are going on.... ooh yeah.
  20. one way around it: purchase both a SAFC-II (or greddy ultimate) and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator get it on the dyno for a tune ie I had 160kw then got a remap over the net, was 90kw, on dyno back to 190kw then 206kw then 240kw
  21. I just bought 8x S15 Injectors for $500del. ebay; jps_trading_ltd grab 4 off ebay for yourself and pm me for the 2 I dont need.
  22. * change fuel filter, drop all fuel from tank and replace * change fuel pump and direct feed it from battery * change both 02 sensors * go over every single intercooler pipe, clamp * change both AFM * change sparkplugs and coilpacks * replace all gaskets, every single one. * replace exhaust studs * perform full 100,000km service incl. belts pumps etc. that'll fix it
  23. hey mate auto is loving it and hasnt missed a beat at all. definately in its prime, isnt stressing the gearbox at all. boost starts at 2500rpm, full boost by 3900rpm and holds 1.05 bar (current setting) all the way to redline 4000rpm she's picking up her skirts and pushing you back in your seat. a good feeling very very very satisfied with the ATS GT3076r
  24. BP ultimate, Mobil Synergy 8000 or Shell Vpower are the fuels to use Id strongly suggest replace the oxygen sensor, reset battery/ecu, and then get it on the dyno with a reputable workshop to see why its chewing so much fuel.
  25. ooooohh man I want I want !!
