    Rb30

    I am after a Rb30 short motor, say out of a VL turbo, if it needs rebuilding i may still be keen...want to put a Rb30 bottom end with a Rb26 head
  8. After a RB26 bare head and block must be in V.G.C.
  9. Is the turbo ball bearing? What size and brand is the wastegate? what is the thickness of the metal used on the manifold?

  11. I ve heard good things about Motsons, ill have to go there and have a chat to them and also check out there GTR. It was in the car when i got it, i do have a manual for it im trying to trak down software for my laptop so tuning can be done via that. i only got a hand contolller for it at the moment. yes its a plug in just like the power FC
  12. A good GTR tuner/workshop in Brisbane/Qld that knows Link engine management sustems, running in a R32 GTR
  13. 450hp you will be pushing it with that set up, i own a R32 GTR its got HKS2530's,HKS Cams, Sard 700cc injectors, upgraded fuel punp, Trust drag intercooler, Twin 3inch system from turbo's, Link engine management and AVC-R on 20psi i pump out 330kw's I want top mount twin turbo's for it then the power figure will really rise, the 2530's are limiting the power output but they boost up quickly and smoothly so its a fairly streetable car at the moment I have seen a write up on the GT2530 turbo's and they say they are pretty much the same as the HKS turbo's apart from the price...
  14. 5000rpm is a bit high, i got the same turbo's on my gtr n it hits full boost at around 4000rpm its got cams, adjustable cam gears, 700cc injectors, Trust drag intercooler, full twin 3inch, link engine management, apexi AVC-R n i can run up to 20psi...so the cam gears might make it a little less laggy but a good tuner helps alot, the hard part is finding one

The radiator fluid looks like a chocalate thick shake from Maca's, this all started when i took my car to get a dyno tune done. they tell me they didnt run it on the dyno but i drove past the place later n i saw my car up on the dyno. then mid arvo i got a phone call from them saying they found oil in my radiiator, they didnt even charge me anything which is a bit suspect...Well i blew the hose doing burnouts in RWD
  16. Problem with my car, its a R32 GTR...The other day i blew a heater hose having replaced that which was not easy. I took it for a drive and within 5mins the oil temp was around half about 150'C, its normally on the 70'C mark, the engine oil level is fine. the water temp was normal but there is oil in my radiator?? the oil pressure was going up and down and it still goes as good as it use to...i think it may be a blown head gasket or the oil pump is rooted, any suggestions would be great.
