  1. double dose of misfortune there then mate pity you decided to get rid of the ceff, twas a nice car nice looking 32 tho...
  2. by looking at it it seems to be a resonator box reduces noise of the intake wouldnt worry about if you take it off....
  3. i personally wouldnt buy a car based on teh ecu in the car, but in terms of tuneability - apparently they are a better unit then teh PFC AND XSpeed are the only place in WA. and if you dont like them then tuff Hot4's had an article about them a while ago (or was it zoom?) and the had a F-Con S put in an Aristo very simple to tune once base maps were established according to the article....
  4. mv automatics right? finding a 'spare' valve body would be difficult at the best of times - good luck mate
  5. meh, fone pic coming 2morrow.....
  6. F/E mounted!!! woohoo fitted perfectly in front of my seat on the seat into the seat rail (goes across from door into tunnel where my seat bolts into) and still allows full forward and backward movement of my seat bit of a pity that you cant fit bolts in, because the head fouls on the extinguisher when you try and mount it so i had to use metal self tapers, but its nice and tight
  7. yep makes sense the guy i work for during uni holidays runs 3 cars in teh AMCA series (like super sedans - Holden 253 v8's on HZ front ends with custum body's) 1 is running methanol and he was saying that it runs a 14:1 comp ratio, whereas the other two are running PULP and are only at 11:1 methanol is a cooler burn allowing a higher comp ratio to make more power (but requiring 3 times the amount of fuel, and massive big fuel lines - try thicker than your thumb, internal diameter about the thickness of your pinky finger!!!) thats interesting that in that short amount of time it gets to 92 deg im trying to understand how you run it - is there a radiator at all? or an overflow type bottle with a high pressure radiator cap to increase the boiling point of the water?
  8. he def knows his shit he is my brake dude too spent 2 hours doing a fluid flush, not because it took so long, but because we spent that long talking....
  9. what do the water temps get too then at the end of the run?

bored? wanna listen to scanners online? enter this url into either winamp or vlc http://www.waix.net:8000/scanner (with vlc its under open/open network, then enter url) then download this document for reference to police codes (which is slightly out of date): police_jobcodes_2006.pdf or you can visit http://warsug.info/viewtopic.php?t=3 and also check out the forum its cool to have it on in teh background and everynow and then something interesting will happen (the scanner unit itself drops out after 2 sec of no communication, and then will pick up anything it hears - police, fire, ambos, bus/train)
  18. nothing apart from a little note.....
  19. got my extinguisher this morning cheers for the product brad (ps sam you sneaky bugger - i hope you had him running around all day packing those things brad )
  20. im still a firm believer in upgrading other components before addressing power issues ive heard of too many stories of people wrapping there hard earned time and money around a pole/tree because they thought for example that the stock single piston caliper front/drum rear brakes were sufficient for their 200rwkw turbocharged corolla/escort/excel/insert any run around car i would consider first upgrading the braking department to the GT-T items first, then maybe doing the engine swap
  21. ooooo now were talking full race spec build half filled or fully filled? thats gonna need some massive water pump and hi flowing head you ceramic coating the water galleries for better flow and less cavitation?
  22. theres only like 3 places in australia that tune HKS f-con systems very good unit considering apex went bust full 3d extrapolation maps (from 2d) for fuel and timing, its just that they are a bit on the expensive side, and like michael said, ur limited to xspeed
  23. how much for an intake pipe 2.5 inch, approx 400mm long, one 30degreeish bend? with 1/2 inch brass nipple
  24. haha ryan pmed you my address brad, will get the bossed address shortly
  25. i think that you'll find that bubba is right that, and the tyres cant actually protrude past the base print of the vehicle so all my mates with those big muddies on their 4bees are actually illegal...
