i think the smaller filter prob has a diff filtration rating (ie diff micron size) if it helps, my boss runs 3 cars in the AMCA series over here in WA (like super sedans - Holden 253's on custom body's) and they run methanol, around 11:1 comp, wild cams and they use the smallest oil filter i have ever seen...

11:1 and type b cam would equal a lumpy and snarling sounding car by the looks of things, if you think that you will have enough low end with the 30, then go with type b but if you do the mods like eug said, then i think you will be having to sacrifice some of the driveability, power etc with the 25 for a while (nothing lost, nothing gained they say...have to make sacrifices somewhere ) in regards to overlap, the r33 GTS and GTS-T cams are exactly the same, all thats different is the cam gears at the front - the turbo gears (i think!!) have a little more exhaust advance and more overlap, and the n/a gears have less overlap

the majority of high hp silvias ive seen have s13 5 speeds and no worries in regards to teh r33 box you should have no worries its not till you start going really serious like 60o-700rwkw when you might wanna consider maybe a OS Giken CrossMission gearset or even a 6 speed holinger, but ur looking at around $50k plus for a holinger.....

the dome is better suited to dyno comps ive seen them do it in the corner near an entrance, with extractor fans to outside, and the seating there allowed ample viewing room

haha sam was there sat from 11:30 till 3:30 had a few really interesting conversations with danny (Judged) and gav saw leo and dan and paul and a few other guys saw Kym and Kat as i left then i spotted a white r33 with rays rims with plates sky2nv on the road that continues from riverside drive (whatever that is called - the road the convention centre is on anyway) i parked right near the end of that road near a hotel - $7 all day parking FTW!!!
