  1. There is no independant third party you can complain to? with sidewall peeling inside and back on all four tyres indicating faulty/defective manufacture there has to be some way you can get refunded/new tyres etc out of it department of consumer affairs?
  2. 1) as long as it fulfills the requirements regarding ground clearance (>100mm), front and back arrival/departure angles, you do not decrease the damper stroke length by more then 1/3 travel and its not riding on the bump stops then you will be fine - to be safe, raise it to an amount greater then 100mm ground clearance - say 120mm for safety sake 2) no you do NOT need a permit for coilover suspension modifications AS LONG AS the suspension replacement parts were designed FOR THE CAR YOU ARE PUTTING THEM ON (ie retro fitting honda parts to put on your nissan is a no-no, technically so is putting silvia parts on your skyline or vice-versa, but putting coilovers designed FOR your model skyline on your skyline is fine) if you want to get more info then read the National Code of Practice documents, VSB 14: NCOP11_Section_LS_Tyres_Suspension_Steering
  3. if the tread is still there after the rain, then take a shadow relief photo if you possibly can clear all the debris away, then get a powerful light source shining towards the camera at a low angle to illuminate the tread pattern and shadow the other side do it from both sides if you can throw a ruler into the picture as well for some reference it makes it a hell of a lot easier to gauge

  11. dale....drive and see how fast you can do it in make a sport of it
  12. +1 paypal should store your invoices, if not purchase history - that should be some sort of indication if you actually contact eBay about this, they might be able to 'unlock' or release to you the information about the sale (as they 'remove' it after 60 days or something like that)
  13. a question to weigh up is: would you mind lag for fair amount of power up top (the trick then would be to keep the engine on song) or would you want a responsive, less powerful twin turbo setup cousin of mine has a 32r - 380/390HP its got 34r snails on it, and with a full exhaust it boosts by 2500 rpm and full boost at 3500 (16-16.5 psi) it pulls really really hard, but power now is limited by the turbos personally...if you want a track car - something responsive with a decent whack of power would be good fun to play with

  18. i think in this case the weight of the vz would cancel out the advantage in power the rb30de with high comp would go well from the getgo, and with the advantage of 4.11 compared to the vz terribly tall diff youd prob nose it in front by 100kays/hour the alloytec comes into its own at high revs and would be catching you very quickly
  19. sr20 better weight distribution = better handling = better drifting..................... but i agree with karl sr20's sound like trucks lol
  20. u might be pushing it with 10.2mm lift with that compression (major recess out of the pistons to allow clearance....) i would stick to 9mm lift or whatever it is
