how many speed powerglide - 2 or 3? and what happened to the tube frame front end?

a nice driveable rb30e would imo be nicer than an animal of a rb25det the rb30 has decent amount of torque, and a lot more power and torque is realesed when head work is done start of basic, extractors, exhuat, intake, 95octane fuel and advance timing just a shmidge after youve done and are getting bored with this level, pull the head off, get a bit of porting and polishing done to it (maybe even a 3 angle grind), decent cam (wade make a good cam), cam gear and you should have a fun, torque, decent power rb30e ps b4 the second stage, i recommend a r31 silhouette LSD (4 pinion if possible) either that or a spare centre that has had a few sticks of weld put into it

actually those older rs liberty's are 2 litres still - sleeper car

very square grafix i would assume an older grafix card cause my radeon 9250 se 128mb played MW with nice smooth grafix - not high qualtiy mind you, but smooth

you can buy my excel for $5000 its had about $3500 repairs done to it - new head, radiator, aircon condensor etc, relativly new clutch, new front tyres, whole new front end (thanks to a prang - no chassis damage)

what about a rs liberty - 2.5lt boxer engine, all it needs is a decent zorst and voila for about 10-12g's (if ur lucky to get one for a decent price) one of the best sleeper cars - almost the same as a wrx (awd and all that) but its got a 2.5 lt (non-turbo but if u can get a rs turbo its even better) engine, not a 2 lt

the thing is with a car like a silvia, u say that it will be ur daily, but it wont, u'll put a exhaust on it, decent intake, then rims, then a turbo, then suspension etc etc etc etc something like a civic, old lancer, laser, astra, excel all that sortg of stuff stuff all on fuel, plus you dont really car if it gets dinged up a bit plus a sr20de can be pretty thirsty depending on the way you drive

seems to be the PCV valve if it is loose (or blocked or shot) it might idle and hunt a bit, considering it is a vacuum (or is it pressure) source and so the idle control would go funny i suppose
