  6. yes its a possibility here in australia there was an early model Nissan Patrol ('88-90 i think) that came out with the RB30 but in carby form if you could get hold of an intake manifold it could be possible to install a big holley 350 double pumper or something on it

  10. the POS Gheyundai me
  11. im not sure on the clearance issues in the KHGC110 engine bay, but i think that even an rb25 block would be a tight fit but for sure - a rb20 crank in a rb25 block would be better for revs then a rb26 crank in a rb20 block.....
  12. see if you can pull steve jones leg to drive the r35 gtr.......
  13. tight fit to physically fit the rb30 block in a KHGC110 rb24 is built with a rb26 crank in a rb20 block - there is about 35mm less deck height then the rb30 and this means the difference between the bonnet closing or not paul http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?t...ET_to_2.4_litre bit sketchy but basically rb26 crank and rods and 82mm pistons
  14. personally i dont believe that we here in aus need to run oil thermostats, however - you are in NZ and it could be a different story it depends on what sort of ambient temps it gets to - if it can get really cold when your tracking, like 10degC or less then it might be worth running a thermostat so that the oil actually has a chance to heat up instead of constantly being cooled and never having a chance to warm up
  15. a 12 to 15 row cooler should be fine ur not running a turbo which heats the oil up further specially when tracking.....
  16. havent started on the multiplayer yet, but the campaigns are awesome up to Shitu Castle atm love how you get to drive a tank and shoot from a Black Cat sea plane pity im on min specs but - all settings are either low or medium to get a decent framerate so much for a modest jump up from COD4 - cod4 plays awesomely on my comp, but COD5 isnt so great
  17. but who needs head when you have the best sex EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. w000t Armahole here
  19. Is this game the same as v8 supercars 3????????? Is it any good - its been ported to the mac and there is a bit of a lack of driving games around for mac so i was considering getting it
  20. but for $20 (which is what they cost i think) its easy to replace and you'll know that its DEF NOT the fuel filter
  21. sorry to hijack, but ive just got a Jaycar Response 2*150W amp the specs are as follows Power / channel @ 4ohm 14.4V: 150WRMS x 2 Power / channel @ 2ohm 14.4V: 255WRMS x 2 Power / bridged @ 4ohm 14.4V: 500WRMS x 1 im looking at getting a Pioneer 12" DVC sub (TW-W307D2 or D4) http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Car%20E...S%20W307D2.aspx what sub would be better and how would i wire it up - the D2 is dual 2 ohm coils and the D4 is dual 4 ohms coils - i was thinking 4 ohm bridged to get 500wrms out of it - so how would i wire the coils up to the amp the pioneer website doesnt actually say what rms the subs are at just 1200w max, so im assuming about 300wrms im not after big big bass, just something to give a bit of kick
  22. your going to loose 6 inches of power........ 2.5 inch on a rb25 n/a 3 inch on heavily worked rb25 or 25/30 26/30 just like that 26/30 powered r31
  23. TGA is getting better - finding there feet, and if they stopped trying to copy UK TG then it would be better Stig - short so not Skaife i reckon Bargs or Rusty
  24. lol here is a crappy photoshop pic the bottom one is a common aftermarket muffler - exhaust comes in from right - goes out main pipe and diffuses into exit pipe they usually flow alright and arent too restrictive the top one is an straight thru highflow item - gases diffuse into baffle chamber around the pipe generally the bigger the baffle chamber the quiter it is, but also can very droney as the gases start to 'echo' a lot more
  25. a straight through muffler is exactly as it suggests a good quality straight through muffler you should be able to look right through it from exit to entry (unless of course you have an offset exit/entry) the muffling on a straight through is done by a baffle chamber AROUND the exhaust - perforations or the like in the pipe in the muffler allow flow to diffuse into the chamber and muffle the sound thats essentially how a cannon works the muffler in the last pic by eug is a typical factory exhaust muffler - sound is very quiet, but very very restrictive - the exhaust gases have to change direction 3 times and in a small body this is going to choke the gases BIG time and slow everything down and not flow well at all
