i dont know beacause the minis are so light it could be possible but................. it would have had to have drag slicks on at least to get it down in 10.1 and a huge motherass turbo with a wickedly tuned ecu tune/setup

i saw in the quokka today (wa buying and selling paper) a dude was trying to sell an r31 gts sillhoute build 165/200 for $6900 (white...so that would be series one and no real mods whatso ever) is this reasonable or to much or not enough it looks like to me that it is not enough for such a rarish car :werd: ur opinions??

nismo32 u might be right - i googled the ones that u said and they look very similar - i cant really find any diffs between them and the ones that returned from a google search

they look very similar to the rims on the z-tune r34 - similar, but not the same thats about as good as i can get

classic rezz...classic we had the same sort of thing when we were travelling in our r31 pulled up to the stop lights (dad was driving) and this commy shit pulled up next to us bogan p plater thought that he could be the shit and b tough revved the shit out of the engine and the sort dad just kept a straight face light went green, dad got the jump mashed the accelerator down and left the commy in the dust those dickheads didn't know what happened it was the funniest shit ever (especially a full passenger load (2 adults 2 older teens) and not even accelerator on the floor - had he done that would have left the biggest black mark ever from my dad!!)

sorry man but as an r31 fan - ur car does NOT need a body kit r31's like that are way sophisticated and look awesome - clean clear crisp lines for the eye to follow but, ill give it a quick go (CF bonnet, new rims, wider arches maybe?!!! ) by the way - my nosey sister reckons that u should get a colour change (she says that the grey and red don't match - but what would she know hey!!!)

they also put moth balls (ie liquid naphtalene) in the petrol that f**cking caddy engine sounded like a drag car the naphtalene made it run really well, really high revs with a good exhaust note (but nobody knows what the effect of doing that is - it would be interseting to know)

yea that true that aircon sucks power, but one would imagine that the drag factor created by all the air pouring into the car with the windows open would make it less efficient than with the aircon on and of course this would change from car to car a small car with the aircon on full blast will drain alot of power and fuel, but on a big car, like the suv's that they where useiong (ford explorer xlt's i think - if i remember rightly) you would think that it would be more efficient for the aircon to be on, than the wiondows open but hey, it is interesting PS: is anybody willing to do some test with there skylines - it would be interseting to see what the diff is (by tests i mean like 5 litres of petrol and see how far u go sort of thing at a constant speed)
