Think about it.......Noisy, heaps of people, space, privacy non existant. It just simply isnt a ideal location at all, forget your top notch parking, forget your pies and donuts, You only need to run a meeting once a month or every two weeks MAX, Our club(thats right people i venture to IPRASA club meeting regularly as mentioned WHY im not associating myself here) have our meetings at the Directors hotel on Gouger st, meetings are held every third monday in the month, Its held up stairs in privacy, and in a quiet room. We rock up a bit early and have a dinner and couple beers before the meeting starts, we chat, we mingle, we have a meeting, we chat and mingle some more, we head home, done. All this in a professional manner. Stewy, Its a bit hard for them to do anything for drift or grip via CAMS out at the track apart from putting dates on a SAUSA calendar, until there are funds then they should go for at least 2 private SAUSA track days a year, which can accommodate grip and drift in the one day. Thats just my views anyways, people can take it or leave it, or argue it, whatever really!!

Last time i looked it was a open forum, where ANYONE can post their thoughts as you have done........Well Done, If you dont like what i have written then simple, dont continue to read it, dont reply, Once again i thought you would be old enough to know and understand this, If you and the rest of the people on here cant take constructive critisism then thats your problem, not mine. If you guys dont want the likes of me sharing info, then pay the money up front get the club registered and create a "Private Section" where all you ladies can organize all your meetings at Villis and West Tce. So we constantly dont get asked to join, AND after seeing the children in here, do you blame us?? The organizers SHOULD "give a f**k" if we dont want to join, and clearly you havnt even put a thought into what i said earlier have you?? Just so you dont have to go back a page i basically said the money the club gets from its members is the clubs bank balance, no members = no money, no money = NO up front paid private track days, NO advertising materials eg banners and shirts, stickers and so on wont be printed up front and in stock at any time. Think about it champ, think about the general everyday runnings of a business and the time and effort the commitee members are going to put into it, its not just a matter of 10 SAU newbies that have 20,000 posts between them in the last 2 years getting together and starting a "club". I fail to see how your comparison is anywhere near what im on about, Your stating they should "stop making commodores", Please point out where i have said "Stop trying to start this club, just because i wont join"? So your whinging about the "apparent whingers" and im one of them?? Once again, I am meerly trying to help the "organisers" with ideas, and helping to imform them of what is needed, and who they should go to to get support. I've also had people PM me thanking me for what i've written, as its basically what they have been trying to say or couldnt say it for whatever reason. So really your whinging AND stating your not joining?? I dont see any constructive critism anywhere from you!! I agree mate, too many people jump to conclusions and are sooooo one eyed its not funny, They think we are out to attack everything they or people bring up, Im sorry to those who have a imagination the size of Big Ben, but i'd rather think logical and fall from 20m than fall 800m from my imagination. Anyways it seems as tho the club is finding its feet, which is good to see. One thing to remember also for the people who WILL become a member, the first year is going to be the toughest and will need all members to be patient, the money in the account wont pay for too much initially, so therefore there might be limited booked events, whereas the second year i would suggest the Commitee to organize a yearly calendar of events so people have time to organize days off to attend 6-12 months in advance. and finally just remember for people to take you serious, BE PROFESSIONAL!!

Dont be dissapointed, there could be many reasons as to why i wont join this club, the main reason is because im involved with helping a number of mates within the SA State Motor Racing scene, one of which is the Improved Production Racing Association, Although not a member i do venture to as many club meetings as i can, So i see the runnings of a club to which my mate is Vice Pres, therefore for me to get myself a CAMS licence if wanted, I will be joining their club.

WOW, what a read, just couldnt help myself here had to post....... Couldnt give 2 shits if you take it as constructive critisism or not, take it how you read it i guess, not here to win friends thats for sure!! Firstly, People can nominate people for chair positions, If you want in on this club and dont like the people who are taking control now, get your mates together and vote someone you like in as President or VP, simple!! Secondly, If there are people out there that dont want to become a member but still have input, dont not listen to them. The way i see it with all the Newbie running the show around here these days, they need the input!! Thirdly, DONT meet a Villis and then move onto BP West Tce, FFS that just shows how pathetic this is all gonna be. Meet at someones house go to a pub have dinner and talk about it, not Maccas and then a full hectik cruise to West Tce!! Fourth, As someone already stated, THIS IS A BUSINESS with every members money involved, you need the money, you need the members, and also as stated you CAN NOT discriminate on types of cars, business's dont turn people down because they come from a derro northern suburb, cash is cash, simple!! Fithly, EVERYONE seems to be getting Waaaaaaay ahead of themselves!! Like a bunch of kids in a candy store some of you are. Sixthly, You wont ever get my membership!! Seventhly, As much as it pains me to say it, Take on Martin and Shanes help to organise this club, they have been in the scene longer than most and know alot of people who COULD help this club get to where it SHOULD be in time to come. Lastly, Is it just me or is it the majority of the newbies(under 2 years) on here that are spearheading this circus?? I wonder why most if not all of the older members like myself dont want anything to do with it, we have all tried to do it in the past, so we have obviously wanted this to happen before, so dont go telling us "your not gonna join because you think it wont work again" BULLSHIT!! Jesus, cant believe i held my tongue that long before!! Oh and also, people who are organising, be open to all sorts of critisism, from just reading here it seems as tho you have all made up your minds on whats going on, and not giving anyone a say in the matter!! Now thats coming from someone who has just given points for both sides of the story!!

wouldnt say i was "so pissed off" there Pete, and as for the few times i HAVE been on here, was once to give my yearly abuse to the ricealon guys(Hi Martin ), advertise my old car and well.......now!! And as for being "upset" with a older member, i disagre, he was the only one who bit back when i continued, it was more so the people(organisers) who couldnt see what i AND Dan(sinista) were on about regarding the first one show "SAU" entered. That was all a long progression for me to loose interest in cars and this particular forum, Im fair over cars these day for the exception of motorsport, to where i am quite involved with two mates who race. And as for this forum i saw it in its best interest for me and others to not continue to post here any longer, hence my ghost like appearance. There are a few people here i still chat to every now and then, which is great to hear their progressions with their cars, So next time i see you on your bike i'll be sure come say hi!! p.s. Damo, Im sure you'll understand what i mean when the time comes to it!! If not dont loose sleep!!

No mate, what he is saying is if you wanted more power, all you'd need to do is get injectors and get a re-map done on the computer! And if you wanted to make it look better, all you need is some nice big dished jap wheels with decent offset and it will look tough!! Hope that helps ya!!

Ok folks, here's the deal!! My mate owned this car about 7 years ago, 3 years later he sold it to me, 3 years later again i sold it back to him, and he has had it for about a year or so now, BUT being a business man and running his own business, he hasn't had the time to drive it and has a company car. SO he has asked me to sell it for him(I have the car to sell), as i used to own it and know everything about it. Ok the car is a 9/1996 model M Spec series 2, was imported waaaaay back in 1998 by the SVD president, and bought by my mate in 2002, bought by me in 2005 and bought back by my mate in 2008, So there's the history lesson!! Over all the car is in great shape, apart from the usual blemishes like a crack or two on the front bar, there is also a dent on the rear pillar on the passenger side where a umbrella has fallen on it(will try and fix), and also the ariel wont go up. So there is the minor detail of the issues.
